I heard lately that Peace is the opposite of Confusion.
Thoughts?

Ah Gad! Don't get him started on introspective theorizing!
Well, as with any concept, it is of course dependent on perception. Much in the same way Chaos is not a direct opposition to Harmony, but can be.
Confusion, as I deem it to be, is not a bad or good thing. Confusion is that time when you look up from what you're doing one time in the big city, assess your situation and think loudly to yourself: "...How did I get here...? And Why..?" I suppose a more obvious opposite of Peace would be War, Strife or Discord. While Confusion no doubt leads heavily into War very, very often and almost reliably; it doesn't have to mean an argument or a clashing of ideals that usually leads to Conflict.
Peace, I see as akin to the concept of Hope. You can certainly have Confusion in times of Peace even if Confusion occurs far more noticebly and often in times in War. If Peace were a flower, Confusion would be the insects around in the dirt below. It might help till the soil or otherwise help the plant... but most are right in assuming that the presence of the latter does not exactly help the former grow.
To put it another way; were it a sliding scale, Confusion would be closer to the War end of things. You can have Peace with delightful hints of Confusion... but where there's Confusion, there's likely not complete Peace. Not personal peace anyhow.
Like I sometimes say! If you always knew what you were doing all of the time, it'd suck the fun out of anything! Confusion is a spice! Like salt! ...and very, very few beings can agree on the right amounts.
