Widdershins

Well, well, well. Looks like tonight, I have another story for you all about life in Animal Crossing's little town of Shinton! So sit on down and ol' Momma-Pappy Widdershins will coil around n' tell you a tale!

  So, for those of you not up to date, Apollo's my best bud. Burly, triangle-torso'd eagle that he is. I've been continuously convincing him to stay in town for years now, and he's frankly running out of hobbies to keep himself busy there. Lately, he's picked up fashion!

  I meet him out on a starry night stroll in my dapper green suit and he nods into agreement that I can get him any ol' rag from the town seamstresses' shop. He looks rather nice in black, as it matches his feathering, and what do you know! Tuxedos are for sale!

  I buy one and rush back all excited! ...he gets to me first.

 "Oh! You went and got a tuxedo without me? How dare you. I'll pay you for that one!" I figure, why not, it's going to him anyway. Least I get cash this way. So, when he walks away, I hit him up again to give him my spare leafy green shirt instead.

....As reward for fetching that shirt... He gives me the Tuxedo he just bought off me that I wanted him to keep...

  Understandably, but enthusiastically, exasperated, I shouted out: "OH, Apollo! You HOT sack of GARBAGE!"

... He immediately turns to me, and says that he toootally has other friends. And proceeds to walk straight into me, without breaking eye contact once before disappearing into the peach tree forest behind us.

  I love this bird.

 Then again, I can hardly be surprised that Shinton is filled with drama queens when I spent a half hour earlier today in full golden Roman regalia... staring down a half-rotted apple.

   ...You know, daring it to become fully rotted. So that I may farm ants for money.  ...what?
