Well, like magic,(which I have actually played) I've heard it tends to pretty much boil down to learning a few basics, then just do whatever the cards let you do. Like Pendulum Summoning, fuh, Sheesh, amiright? Even that I get, but its a few schmantics. Like I've got cards that require defense position yet it seems like its almost impossible to get like that or any other myriad ways to chain effects together, like Fusion/Ritual monsters, like they say...

 Ghostricks, Melodious Divas and this neat rock statue flip deck I'm cobbling back together are my main shameals. Though I am working on Wind-Ups, my third dragon deck, a Wind deck, a fishless Water deck....  

Oh, the cards that reap benefits from defense position but can only be in defense position under certain conditions? Yeah those are tough to use, but it's like that to prevent those cards from being OP

Make sure to put Dragon Capture Jar in the dragon deck if you can. Lots of situations I can think of where that may help

Dragon capture jar? That's got to be a meme, right? Take control of any dragons your opponent has out? That's got to be heavily situational! If one's out, you're probably already doomed. (Like Polymerization, that seems to be an old card thats still so integral, yet nearly impossible to find these days.) But then again, I do got quite a few little guys that do the same spot-control for machines, fiends and etcetera.

Oh, and you know how it seems like every yugioh protagonist has their symbolic dragon? This'uns mine! Can you guess what card he is? Still trying to figure out how to play him, but that'd require actual practice in a duel for once!
