Huh, guess I do have some great luck with shiny pokemon! Just found a shiny Pancham under a tree as my only Gen 7 shiny!
Gen Six I stumbled upon a shiny Weepinbell, which was fortuitous as my favorite grass type.
Generation Five... actually got a shiny Jynx in the wild... but I traded that for a shiny Snorlax, so doesn't count.
And before that... LeafGreen I was lucky enough to get Hunter, green Dodrio & Ricter Bluenose the female Dugtrio who i've both kept through the years!
Suppose special event gift legendaries don't count as "naturally ocurring" & I don't remember most of them anyhoodles.

@Odyssey Well, being a proud supporter of the Ice type... I am super sad I jumped off the boat on that shiny Jynx. Though Shiny Aurorus is likely the most beautiful out there!
As much as pink is my favorite color it doesn't go well on pokemon. Little too shocking a tone for skin or fur! But by that same thought, I love the Green Shinies! Machamp I like & Green-tailed Shiny Mewtwo looks even better! But I have my buddy @SolarFlare13 here to thank for the best shiny!
Shiny Tentacruel! ...a trainer spends alotta time staring at wild tentacools. Like, never got why a jellyfish would have red on it.... though it being an aquatic poison-type green globules make far too much more sense! A more natural, venomous, cool look to it!
