Okay PokéFans! I really got a question/story I need help with! If any of you wanna hear, like @ShadOBabe or @Odyssey!
You were talking about ingame glitches, @SolarFlare13? I can back it up now!
I have in my Pearl version the lil' Seedot I evolved since into a Shiftry… who came, from the wild, with the moves as follows:
Leech Seed: Only an Egg Move.
Frustration, Solar Beam & Giga Drain: all TM only
...and I caught it at the top of Route 120, Hoenn….. where they don't naturally appear either!
...considering that Frustration move... reeeeally feels like its a little seed that got abandoned by its previous trainer!
It's, like, the only reason now that I can't delete my Pearl save file! ...and also my special edition Spiritomb, Arthas.

But the oddest part is... that this isn't something that can actually happen in the game's coding... It's a pokemon that all game logic would say I shouldn't have!
Oh, and I know. It was a fair bit traumatic trying to breed for a shiny Vulpix…. and several dozen movepools based on egg moves. So many sad foxy faces!
And I do know how that feel. That's how I caught & kept Dodger, the Drifblim who just wouldn't bloody die!!

@Widdershins Seedot is a VERY rare pokemon in that game. Shiftry is ANOTHER Pokemon I NEVER used in my journey, BUT I wanna give it a try. It was an INTERESTING design and a REALLY cool typing (he's pretty much in the same league as Abomasnow)

First off, tell me what is its nature? that's THE most important thing.

The most unique thing about Shifty is that it has access to BOTH Swords Dance AND Nasty Plot, so it's up to you whether you wanna make it a physical attacker or a special attacker

In competitive play, it's often been used as a Chlorophyll sweeper under sunny conditions and it has Solarbeam. if you were to run it on a sun team, I'd say Nasty Plot, Solarbeam, Dark Pulse and MAYBE Hidden Power Fire or Extrasensory (Sun boost VS Fighting and Poison coverage). If not, then I'd run Giga Drain instead. With + Special Attack and STAB from Giga Drain, that should not only do a DECENT amount of damage, but that should ALSO heal a decent amount of HP. If you're carrying a Life Orb, that should also counter-act the side effects of that item
