The Galar Fossil Quartet pokemon bother me. Should probably blog about it.

 Yes, the design focuses on a time when we slapped dinosaurs together with best guesses. But no, they aren't fabricated, its how they really looked millenia ago. They're out of time, unadapted, and need help from a caring trainer. I'm sick of the only thing you see about the four online is the shortsighted "they ugly, clearly faked in cannon." 

 Dracovish can't breathe good, Dracozolt has metabolism trouble with supporting its fat butt, Arctozolt is sick all the time, Arctovish has its head on wrong because its prior environment needed it to.

 We are made of the scars of events we lived through; we live in the shape we are and grow to fit what is needed. Don't make fun of my floppy, plodgy, chimeric, Dino Bros because they don't fit in... most of us don't. Many pokemon have the same problems, just maybe not to the same severity. 

Love your characters for as they are, not for what you think they could be.

(Though Sonic was utter pain to look at...)

 1. Most can't really control the content of their dreams and 2. they usually have some bearing on your waking life. Celestia may have daylight, full rule and the power of prophecy, but Luna can basically witness the minds of the free world all simultaneously.

 If you, say, were particularly... vehement about one sister's rule over the other or forbid, a third party... she'd see that in your dreams!

  ...and *cough* i'm sure there's alot of young fillies and colts that have had a few regular appearences of the sisters in... shall we say, Silly Situations!

  No wonder Luna's so reserved. Once you've been in a teenager's dreams, how could you be surprised by reality?

Back from my first ever Furry convention! Was happy to meet my friends for the first time!

 I did save alot of pictures of cute fursuits and did alot of stuff around the big city!

20-20 is usually attributed to foresight. As in, looking back at events they seemed worse, but were dealt with. Ironically befitting, I feel.

 21, in western culture at least, is usually a hallmark of a milestone or big event. So much so that stores tend to use that number to sound "hip & young." And like most big event year timeframes, they tend to cause stress, particularly with expectations on how one should be treated in their perceived maturity.

Glad to see we're going on to year numbers now with no negative phraseology to be onimous!.....

 Well, other then that whole Catch-22 bit~~

The rumor that we have discovered an entire interdimensional species appearing to be grandmothers and enslaving them solely for cookie production is ridiculous. The claims of that percentage of the population as such are unbased, as such a plan could not, in any way, be feasible or sustainable.

 While we will admit that the development of interdimensional portals just to harvest cookie materials from other planes of existence might have been extreme, such construction is safe. The descriptions of the portals appearing to be festering tumor-laden growths are exaggerated as they were merely designed to look like cookie dough.

 We will not deny the leakage of interdimensional, hostile entities from our portals, but our aim was to help the scientific exploration in business outside of our own in purely good will. The fact the beasts encountered this way are scented like cookies is... uh, coincedental. We are in the process of addressing these issues with the related parties involved.

Our aim has always been to let as many existing persons as possible to enjoy our cookies. Cookies are wholly good, that is all. Thank you."

See, the classification of Magic Schools is important to me. You wouldn't label something under a different name unless specific practices weren't involved. Like "Ritual" and "Summoning" should be as different as "Ice" and "Water" magic.

Chaos Magic, specifically from use of Discord and the world of Pony, is strictly regimented by its practice. All things are once you give it a name. Put simply, magic that is "Chaos" is primarily to point at an object or place and command that a change happen on it or an event to occur, respectively, from a seemingly limitless list of results. Like the Deck of Many Things.

 What Chaos Magic CANNOT do: 

1. Since it is essentially conjuration/evocation with open ended results... those results are still limited by the caster. If a pony OC was to specialize in Chaos Magic and they say, focused on a friend's cup of tea to give them a prank & surprise... they could not suddenly cause a minor planet to form on their surface of theirs, thereby causing the sudden expansion & gravitational forces to doom the world. It requires far too much energy input and magic potential to occur. You don't go from spark to forest fire within seconds.

2. It is not just a spell to just summon a pie to the face or a kooky small, cute minion to play with. Chaos Magic is not a party trick or excuse for whacky shenanigans you don't want to narratively explain. Your Pie Summon could easily be a summon from another pony several towns over who was taking a bath or a Pillar of Fire. Chaos Magic is dependent on a Result and that must mean that there will be consequences, as all magic is.

None of this, of course, pretains to Discord himself because every draconequus is as much the power they funnel as its mage. This does however differ from Wild Magic (which is basically more akin to a dam breaking on a river of Energy) and my own headcannoned magic school: Confusion.

 Which, arguably can just be classified as Mental, Psy or Illusion magic. Confusion Magic is based on Awareness and Identity. 

Now that's a Draconequus name if ever I saw one!
