Actually. Seriously. Please! Can we get an explanation for this skull on the map?!!? Lookit!!!

 I don' care by the logic of "Well, clearly its a member of whatever that 'Arimaspi' species is." THAT THING IS ENROMOUS!! Scaling to size to put a body underneath that, that creature would have been bigger than all of Canterlot! Bigger than the central tower of Crystal Empire, that can be seen from space apparently!! That skull is so big that it counts as territory!

 Just think of it! Somewhere out there in Equestria, there's a skull sitting on top of a mountain so huge, that some creatures have grown up living in the mountain top "caves" of its interior! Their whole lives, scuttling around a mile-wide interior of a beast so large it blotted out the sky & inhaled fullgrown dragons!

 What brought down something so big that an entire city could have been buildt on its ribcage?!!? Where did the rest of its skeleton go?!!?

 Brother in law was a bit busy with the kids, was repeating myself to him & I guess he got fed up & yelled. Which makes me angry too now.

 Gen 4: The Underground exploration mingame world...and, uhm… creative & cleverly hidden new ways to obtain pokemon species!

 Gen 5: Triple battles, Movies to make and other big city livin' activities as well as once more returning to the theme of nature with the Seasons visibly changing & impacting the environment as well as the Night/Day Cycle's return.

 Gen 6: The mystical new Fairy type, much customization & style for the France-themed region, caring for your pokemon partners with love & attention and also... using the unknown powers of a radioactive rock to mutate your friend into a transformation so painful that their mind is blanked of naught but the overpowering urge to kill & destroy, all for the sake of winning & proving yourself superior.    …*Ahem*

 Gen 7: Oh, I dunno, ISLAND STUFF. Maybe some invasion of aliens that can somehow eat the very fabric of reality itself because its Edgier that way oh and... you can, like, dance a silly dance with your pokemon so they can then FIRE A BEAM OF SO MUCH ENERGY THAT IT RIPS APART THE EARTH ITSELF!!

 I posit us Ice trainers get hair. Fluffy beards or spiky wavecrest animesque manes, even if balding or tightly tied, we got the best & biggest hair out there!
