Both are neither really feminine or masculine and if anything are more the Oafish type. As in, they're about as emotional & subtle as a building implosion! They can't take a hint even they were watching you set them on fire! Nothing empathathizeses me as much as "Explosively Emotional!"

I relate sooo much to Grace! Even if I'm totally jealous of her powers.
I'm inclined to say she's merely a wish-fulfillment trope of a character... but I'm pretty much one-for-one in sharing her backstory, personality and.... uh... a third thing!
Kinda wanna walk on as a visiting "Madder Scientist" to Tedd, and just start toying with his stuff.

Do believe everybeing has magic!
Been working on my Astral Projection & construct summons but neither are as strong as my innate power to attract stormclouds.
Been trying to work on ice spells to regulate temperature & hopefully crystallize... and yet... I keep getting HEAT based spells. When I LOATHE HEAT.
Really burns me up & leaves me fried...

Have to wonder how you bookmark where you left off in case you exit out of the site?
But it ain't that bad. Do pick up an undercurrent of "...What can I do for a plot now?" Which does keep things pretty reliably realistic. Sometimes things happen, there's no huge plot from gradually bigger, more mysterious baddies. Sometimes there's a lost gryphon you help!

Well, there are sites specially designed for that, although I don't know which if any EGS is on (I have a bunch that rarely update, that I track though Comic Rocket)
If I am trying to catch up with a specific site, I have a separate waterfox web browser configured for persistence (if you close it, it opens next time with the same tab set as you closed it on) or failing that, I can look at the history and pull the last displayed page.
Might be worth doing a thread someplace here to discuss EGS (and maybe a few more for some other webcomics I follow enough to have added them to my patreon :D)

Pandora is a fairly interesting character; while the Attribute of Kaos does suit her, essentially for much of the timeline she is a Fairy that is WELL past her recycling date; insanely powerful, virtually omniscient across multiple universes and timelines, and bored beyond belief (so dangerously unstable, and given how much power she has, that is really, REALLY not a good combo)
All her plans were designed with a high probability of failure; this was deliberate, as she could easily design plans near guaranteed to succeed, but given she could then know the outcome before even starting, couldn't summon up the motivation to even start them.
But at least Sarah was a good friend and gave her cuddles

I think most mortals forget what a blessing it is just to Breathe.
I have a long history of trouble breathing & let me tell you, it can feel so good just to have an uninterrupted intake of oxygen, of air. It's calming & reassuring. It's a personal miracle of chemical conversion. A reminder of a life's intention.
Be glad that you are what you are!
What a burden it'd be to have the alternative of not needing to breathe at all!

Would I want to change my gender on a whim, knowing full well the dangers or risks that I might incur? Yeah. No different than if I could will myself to sprout new heads, gain superpowers or become some elaborate, grotesque monstrosity.

But the trouble is... much as it'd mean to me to shapeshift, have my very being be written by my own thoughts & expression... The sad part of it? Regardless of what I could become, no matter how long or what new experiences I could gain... I still wouldn't be happy. I'd have to constantly spiral on a daily basis to keep inventing new forms. Because when it comes down to it...
I hate myself. I loathe my own existences.
Because the one thing I've never been able to escape is Being Me. The way I've become where I have this constant urge to escape whatever I am, whatever I have to cope with.
Deep, personal, self-loathing is the origin & basis for my being.
Don't be sad about that. It shouldn't come across as that big of a surprise.
It's something I've come to accept of myself.

And I may have to apologize. I have no way of knowing if you can understand which words I use. You truly are impeccable in your typed English! I do always find it funny how any one that apologizes for their English not being good, are still always 100% better than most born into the language!

and I actually have waited for moment to do something like that.
it's true I'm pretty good when it comes to writing English, and I don't have any problems with grammar or such, my problem mainly is that I forget words, a problem that exist with my native language too. That and then there just is some words I have never seen before and thus need to google.
(And I agree with many natives being somehow worse than those who have it as second language, one thing I can't understand is not knowing difference between your, you're, their, they're...etc.)

As of Molt Down, it is now canonical that there's a history of Dragons pillaging pony villages.

Just watched the new episode of MOLT DOWN!! (You have to use your epic voice for that title!)
Have to say, written a lot more acceptedly when Spike got his wings than when Twilight did.
Have to say, Twilight, Zecora, Pinkie & especially Rarity really, really shone during this! Really got the feeling that Rarity, of all ponies, knew exactly what Spike was going through. In fact, kinda felt she was flirting with him a fair bit. I mean, not always a mare demands you take your clothes off in public!
Kinda attracted to Rarity when she's all mature, understanding & artistic like this!
Feel darn certain Rarity has had her own episodes where trying to cover up her own "blemishes" and only making it worse. Could tell she was getting stuff from Zecora on her own, because she knew Spike wouldn't.

BridleIdle Gossip is a harmful thing. I say it's fun!So the other night at the Chicken Hut I work at, we got a new manager! Who's not only pretty competent, but fairly confident!
I overheard snippets of his mumbled conversation with the manager I don't like. Y'know, the guy who assumes the best way to communicate is to reuse simple sentences, pointedly, and a few feet in front of the faces of his employees and just assume they'll just snap to attention and fix whatever the problem is. The guy that zones out on his phone while others are talking to him.
Not that i'm bitter. Anyhow.
Things I overhead the new guy say to Mister Prick:
"Give me one minute, and let me talk, okay?"
"Yes. Sometimes they do less. It's chicken."
"We have to minimize how much chicken goes to waste."
Y'know, things you figure a manager manages. Instead of just barking, then walking away like all the responsibility is on the underpaid, clearly timid workers.

Well they're the manager. Believe it or not, they too usually have a boss, and quotas to meet. They're only job is to optimize the performance of the company or product or service, really everything. The lowerclass workers are meant to take care of everything at the end, but managers make sure it's being done in the best way. They're planners, and that can be just as hard as physical labor. Sometimes a manager must make really tough decisions for the workers they're in charge of. Take it as a blessing, you don't have to make any decisions, you just follow orders

Which would entail that they manage their workers. A worker can't know if what they're doing is having harmful consequences (Look at me defending my Applejack's Day Off mindset here...) especially if they're still new to the environment or have other things to be aware of.
I would agree planning is important. Which is why having seven managers that all have to coordinate with each other while doing the front order-taking which their supposed to hire others for, kind of makes things a bit harder to actually manage. Oh, and should actually hire managers that know how to interact with others without coming across as hostile.

Back in the original pokemon games of Gold & Silver, good old Professor Oak had a radio show! He’d give minor facts on pokemon... then DJ Mary would chirp up about something peppy & trendy like she knew what was happening. And one thing she said...
Professor Oak: “Geodude is known for its high defense and trait of throwing rocks to attack.”
An audible pause, then DJ Mary: “Poke it lightly, and you’ll see!”
Me: … ITSA ROCK! You learn nothing by poking a rock!!! Any other context would make you a pervert! Don’t poke rocks! WHO GAVE THIS WOMAN A MIKE?!!?

It's, like, seeing a character in a video game or otherwhere that doesn't have much personality, and you add your own dorky headcannon for what they're really like!
Like there was this one boss in Warcraft that was supposed to be this Big Bad Mastermind.... but he looks like such a drooling caveman to me!

I can dismember myself at will without dying. I can sneeze valuable gems. I technically have a working black hole where my internal organs should be. Sometimes, when I'm not paying attention the whole of my- Widdershins. You're an OC. You were written to have such inanely quirky abilities for the sole sake of being annoying. I don't think that's what the original question was. Well, La-Ti-Dah! You go then, Mr. Mortal! Well, one of my ears is significantly lower than the other. I can put both legs behind my head, even completely reverse one of my feet at a time. I have actual chunks of graphite impaled in my handflesh. Despite my size, I'm quite flexible. Likely from overcorrecting from my clumsy stages. I can crack nearly every joint in my body. Other than my ribcage. And I'm working on that. I've lost my sense of smell and, to replace it, I've learned how to smell by tasting & literally eating the air. I can squeal at dog-whistle volume. And hit an extremely, balloon-deflating pitch of voice as I am a pretty decent mimic. I only recognize when I'm sleepy by when the word "Raddle" comes up in my head. (That one doesn't count, that's an example.) … I fail to see how you're any less a quirky Eldritch Aberration than I am. That's probably why we do this whole Meta shtick.

Anybeing remember what episodes have a lesson like the episode Lesson Zero? That is, how to not take things personal, create a problem where there is none and not treat things like its all on your shoulders and your life is just constantly one big test for you, and only you, to deal with?
...kind of do honestly relate a fair bit to Twilight Sparkle... that was a lesson I still need to learn.

@Dji & @Blitz Boom Skies darken quickly, as stormclouds gather and a huge, skull-rattling thundercrack resounds. DID SOMECREATURE SAY SOMETHING ABOUT A TATZLWURM FLOWER?!!? Because it just so happens, that I happen to have an OC beastie entirely based around being a giant Tatzelwurm flower!! I haven't yet really made an entry for Razzle Frazzum, because... well, he's more beast than an actual personality. He doesn't so much talk... as chew on ponies. Because he's mostly mouth anyway. He's mostly just a really, really big, carnivorous puppy. To play on that "monstrous new pet" trope. Buuuut, I do love adding a complication to a quest! ...a good amount of my characters kind of come across more as a D&D encounter rather than an actual character to roleplay.

How do you know what the species name is of the guard-monster for the maximum security prison in most versions of Equestria, Is?!!? Glowing eyes shifting back in forth in the unsubtle way of mannerisms most of Widdershins's own species is known for, it mumbles on not-so-quietly. Not that I've... spent a lot of time in Equestria's famous maximum security prisons. But that Cerberus is something that only shows up there, or places like it. You kinda don't know about that unless you're part of the ruling government! Sure, the guards in Equestria are reliably the worst. But the Equestrian Government is one of the most secretive, capable things ever! You should see how many corrupt Celestias I've met! Widdershins wobbles on the ground, where anycat can reach him to pester him as much as it has begun to pester the catpony he's just come across. @Dji Rising to all fours now, the young drake wiggles a bit nervously. "Easy on back there! Scoot away from the wings! It's a bit... embarrassing to have a pony ontop you! I swear, if anycreature was to see me like this... with you on me, I'd just have to combust myself on the spot." "...I don't do this for just anypony… you know." With a spread of his wings, a bit more straight out as if flexing his pride in his flight & showing off for his mare in spite of his words, Kaltrop takes to the air in the direction Dawn had gestured.

And then there's competently writing about it, its results & consequences!
Like, what's easier to accept? A long hidden plot of subterfuge and shadowy cabals disguising mutant experimentation.... or just nobody knows about the mutants because its buried under so much paperwork that nobody cares about it anymore?

So I called in sick. …. then spent four... maybe six straight hours on Hearthstone. Stuck in a loop. Accomplishing nothing, not even in-game, but my own increasing frustration. Because I didn't want to think about what I had to do, but couldn't enjoy what I was doing because of knowing there could be so many other things I COULD be doing that'd make me happy, get something accomplished, feel healthy....
This is madness.
Not the fun kind, no. The shade of it where you lose control & get stuck in a loop.
Why... why do I do this. I do-... I hate doing this to myself.
