  1. I forget if I've brought it up before, but there's nothing sweeter then going into the walk in freezers at work! It's quite rejuvenating to chill my lungs after continuously walking through the Boiling room. Sometimes I can even get ice crystals to form on my forearms!

...though I worry that going from a high seventies room to negative three or more so fast might be causing me health problems.

No, no, that's the point. If you want the formula to reflect the number of dimensions that the figure has, they have to be similar pieces you break it up into. Otherwise you'd be able to break it up into any number of pieces, like you said, and your definition of dimension would be skewed all over the place. The core criteria for fractals are that they have to be self-similar (otherwise the formula won't work) and they have to have a dimension as given by that formula that doesn't match what their dimension 'should' be.

Most human-constructed fractals are quite regular, like the Sierpinski triangle and the Mandelbrot set, but there are other forms of self-similarity that don't mean rigid fitting together of identical pieces. Clouds, trees, lightning bolts - all of those things form fractals, because they're randomised but have the same 'form' at all levels of their structure. A tiny wisp of mist behaves like a scaled-down full cloud, the branches of a tree split off in the same way the trunk does, and the lightning bolt branches and branches and branches again with the same zig-zagging pattern. The man Mandelbrot himself observed that fractals are far more common in nature than any sort of normal geometrical figure. They're ordered, as with many things, but break distinctly from the order of, say, a bland rectangle. Curious constructs indeed. :mustache:

    3. Widdershins

      Widdershins

Wait, so... you could say.... A Species of Order?!

That Order is defined by what order your looking for, that, like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder!

...the iris is a pretty decent fractal too, come to think of it. Ironic.

So, in essence, what you're saying is that by using the same parameters, to find the same proportions, finding more of the same in the same makes a Fractal! A natural repetition of sorts!?

I'm going to have to look up Mandelbrot sometime. I named my Vivillion after the set, on account of it looking terribly like one. Assuming its what I think it is.

    4. Duality

      Duality

Oh, certainly. If there's one thing maths is good for, it's classifying species of order. Much like, come to think of it, your analogous programme for Pokemon.

Indeed; 'finding more of the same in the same' is what self-similarity is all about. If the part is like the whole or the little is like the big, if the parameters of the full apply to the pieces or if the proportions of the smaller are a repetition of those of the larger - if you can find more of the same in the same -, you've either got a fractal or a good approximation to one. :proud:

Also, I took the liberty of looking up a picture of the Mandelbrot set for you.

      322px-Mandel_zoom_00_mandelbrot_set.jpg

A constant zoom effect shows its self-similarity:

      Mandelbrot_sequence_new.gif

And this is it displayed on the graph axes that make it mathematically meaningful:

      File:Mandelset hires.png

All that infinitely nested detail fits inside the simple rectangle between -2, 1, i, and -i (where i is the square root of negative one or the so-called 'imaginary unit'). The process for obtaining the Mandelbrot set is actually very simple, too. All you have to do is, starting with z(0) = 0, iterate the following formula to find all the values of z(n) up to z(infinity) for a given value of c:

      image.png.48dad5988050a6b1cce6c2dbce7e9363.png

If z(n) tends towards infinity as n increases, the value of c is excluded from the Mandelbrot set. For example, c = -1 gives:

      z(1) = z(0)^2 - 1 = 0^2 - 1 = 0 - 1 = -1

      z(2) = z(1)^2 - 1 = -1^2 - 1 = 1 - 1 = 0

      z(3) = z(2)^2 - 1 = 0^2 - 1 = 0 - 1 = -1

      z(4) = z(3)^2 - 1 = -1^2 - 1 = 1 - 1 = 0

The formula's output repeats itself, so z(n) doesn't tend to infinity and -1 is thus part of the Mandelbrot set (in fact, you can see in the above diagram that -1 falls squarely inside the first circle of the set). Fractals are a very shiny species of order, no Pokemon pun intended.

  2. Me: Gosh. Think I like the new Sobble, water starter pokemon. Really relate to it on an emotional level.

"Looks like Sobble's the most popular option."

     *Hipster Senses Triggering*

I just... can't enjoy something when I know that Eeeverybody else is picking it. Sure, I like Sobble. But now there's a very high chance of me picking the rabbit just to intentionally do something I don't like just to spite others I'll never meet.

Hey @AmarisNsane! Long time no speaky!

I think what's caught me so much before as seeing them as just starters, the first ones you see & no more important than the local rat etcetra. Past two generations, the starter has meant a lot to me, so was hoping for the grass starter this time around.

      I don't monkey.

      *shudder*

I'll have to see how things turn out. This time, actually watch the spoilers & ads. Sobble's cute n' all, but not much yet of a set theme to latch on to. Unless Scorbunny gets fluffier with some adorable floppy ears, I'll still be on the fence. And the monkey will really have to wow me!

I'm hoping for whichever starter winds up looking more 'feminine.' That's usually what gets me, the levels of cute!

Is best magick. Most Spellcast. Punch yes.

Now we only need a pokemon that punches with the power of magic. Fists of the Arcane!!!

@Odyssey Bomseel feels a bit dumb though... just fire seal. Like, I can't imagine how you'd explain that naturally happening. Just, seal went to fire, has black fire bombs now. Lol!

Bellboyant looks quite pretty... but not really Pokemon's kind of style. They try not to have animal grow into an inanimate object. ....wait... Lucario.  Eh, feels more like an anime critter, y'know? Pretty, but too pretty!

I like Turbann though! The side evolution of the Slowbro line!

      @SolarFlare13

Really? Others are saying Water Dragon? Only other one we got of those is Kingdra!

...and Britain is kind of known for its dragons too.

Of course, thought they've said before that if the starter trio had secondary typings... those have to help with the Rock, Paper, Scissors theme they're going with effectiveness moves.

    3. Odyssey

      Odyssey

That's why I love Bomseel haha, it's a quirky idea. I like to think it balances meteorites on its nose. As for Bellboyant, I like the idea of its whole bell schtick, and of course it's definitely pretty. It reminds me of Luna from Sailor Moon a lot, so maybe that's why it might not feel like as Pokemon like as the others I suppose. Turbann is great, that one feels like missed potential in some ways.

    4. Widdershins

      Widdershins

But... but where does a seal get meteorite bombs from?!!?

      @SolarFlare13

Hmm, typing is a bit difficult.

If we're sticking with the cycle of effectiveness (and really, there's no reason Game Freak has to) I rather like the Fighting-Ice-Flying... but then that'd stick Scorbunny with being fire/flying...

But I can tell Sobble has the kind of build Mudkip grew up with, so It'll only get bulkier & pudgy!

I'm hoping for Water/Dragon or Water/Ice.... but the whole ghost typing feels like it fits better with its water cloak hiding ability.

...Hmm. Chosen as one of the first things you think about when it comes to the British Isles... a shy, hard to find, large, aquatic reptile?...they wouldn't!

Lochryness: the rare lake dragon nobody could find, because it turned out to be a chameleon this entire time! Combonation of the words Loch Ness & Lachrymose! (tearful!)

    3. SolarFlare13

      SolarFlare13

I have a feeling Sobble's final evolution is gonna be water / poison. Why? well...most reptiles are poisonous and if you take a look in the trailer, Sobble used Acid Armor to conceal itself, which is a poison type move...and what other typing is a liquid substance? Poison

...and I have a feeling Scorbunny's final evolution is gonna be fire / ground (bunnies like to dig holes in the ground) :derp: and Grookey's final evolution is gonna be grass / fighting  (he carries a wooden stick with him)

Which starter are you gonna pick? :o

    4. Widdershins

      Widdershins

Well, they clearly took a hint from the only other pokemon that's famous for melting its body into water. Vaporeon... a pure water type. Though Muk is known for Acid Armor too.

Trouble is... Water/Poison is a pretty common typing. Kind of makes you feel your starter is a bit less special.

Aaaand, Scorbunny's a runner. Doesn't seem like the sort to settle down to build a den.

Kind of want to it to turn into a Fire/Electric or Fire/Fairy Bunny Paladin. 'S gotta be flashy!

In fact... kind of want them to all wind up with a fairy typing, lol!

I'm going with Sobble too. The other two are just a bit too active for me, hee!

  10. Hmm. The trailer showed that in Galar, the Lass trainers wear a red boarding school uniform with a crest depicting a Shield.

The schoolboy trainers wear blue boarding school uniforms which had a crest that looked vaugely like a sword.

Blue & Red, rather combative, signifying colors in this, a large, restrictive institute of learning known for indoctrinating ideals.

Room for villains to crop up & control the populace? Most Suspish!

    HMMING intensifies!!

  11.  Gen 8 release trailer shows the Professor's study.

A huuuuge, beautiful library, complete with library ladders and in the center of it all is a terrarium. And in that, there's a hi-tech diagnostic tablet sending constant recordings & scans of said plants over to the rather simple work desk. Behind that, there's an extremely detailed graph of the structure of a Charizard's head & skull shape.

From this, we can tell the local professor collects plants & studies, primarily, the ratios & mathematical comparison of how everything relates to everything else in a very geometric way. Considering the very plant-heavy surroundings, sufficed to say the professor is very aware & familiar with their chosen element.

@Duality confirmed for new Gen 8 Galak Pokemon Professor!

  12. Just got done watching the trailer release on the new Pokémon Generation Eight games!

     Here's my thoughts & predictions/hunches.

For one, first & foremost.... "Game footage not final." As evidenced by the empty fields devoid of trainers. We're kind of looking at the husk for a game that hasn't been fully pieced together. But nonetheless, a good feel for the region!

I am SUPER EXCITED that we're finally getting a Northern, colder climate for once! Look at how much ice is on that map! So mountainous! Much wow! Up until now, the most we've gotten is some parts of Johto that were in eternal autumn and maybe a snowy village or two that were inexplicably cold from the hot route just next to it. We've never had pine trees, much more than one mountain route with everything kind of just a different climate from one path to the next. I am SO calling it that we'll get a load of cool Ice types to combat the typing being almost completely ignored in Alola! (Tropical islands.... not much you can do to put any ice types around...)

That, and it's just about as Industrial as Unova was! Kind of funny, that... lot of a focus on cityscape there... almost as if we'll be encountering wild pokemon deep in towns like they kind of started doing back in Alola. Yet... there's a clear, distinct demarcation between nature & cityscape. You know Game Freak will take every opportunity to make pretty scenic nature... but cities have been mostly just a place to restock, buy & do the trendy region stuff. We don't actually play in cities in Pokémon.

Wonder if we'll finally get the Nature versus Civilization messages I've been wanting?! That's what I was aiming for with my own fanon pokemon region!

Oh and.... gonna blow your mind here....the local Baddies for this region?  ...Yeah, The Church.

I dunno about you, I ain't got much experience wit' Britain, but they kind of have a long history of the authority figures going a bit insane! Maybe not the religion itself, but huge, important, cultural icons leading the villain team. The Lysandre approach really. They'll be unequivocally right... and a serious threat... but the only way we'll be able to call them Evil is by the dangerous, violent means they achieve their goals. We just got off of Alola with the goofball, useless Team Skull and the bland, super-serious Team... uh... White Labcoats. We're due for genuine villainy now!

Third Point:   ...yeah... guys..."Sword & Shield"... those names mean nothing. There won't be shield or sword based pokemon, it'll be only a fuzzy reference at best in the box legendaries… It's symbolic at best. The generation names have been just useless these past few games. Like, only thing Sun & Moon related was that the lore said the two box legendaries symbolized those... and left it at that. In X & Y... eh, that one pokeyman kinda looked like an X n' that other one kinda looked like a Y. That's it. Black & White was kind of just a reference to the moral they were aiming at...

The actual symbolgy in the titles, yeah, there's room to theorize on that, because that's proven to have more ground to be used in the games, but don't go hogwild here & suppose we'll be strappin' on armor to our pokemon to do jousting events! It's almost racist to just assume everything Britain related is going to be drenched in everything Knighthood to the expense of everything else.

...Oh, and the Starter pokemon they released?

     I'm going with Sobble.

Rounded form, it'll evolve even bulkier, you watch. Funny how they say its trait is hiding & shyness. Looked like some sort of water veil it disguises itself with. But we kind of did everything we could with Aquatic Subelty with the ninja frog, Greninja… only other thing I can think... that's a big, bulky, aquatic & cleverly hidden.... is how Crocodiles hide in the water unseen.   … log croc starter like we've been asking?

Grookie is....Bizzare… We see it rhythmitcally tapping a stone to encourage grass to grow. Almost as if its cheering helps plants grow... That stick'll be important, no doubt. But we can't just do the "stick gets bigger until its whacking opponents with an actual, intact tree" bit. That's too uncreative & feels like its already been done. Game Freak wouldn't be that straightforward... ...and that green coloring... looks oddly like a bodysuit... like Chespin's was. ….Are we getting a Monkey Monk already? Oh, and I'm already locked into what the final evolution's name is...GOAL-RILLA!!!

And Hoo Boy! My most garunteed prediction! Good Ol' ScorchBunny!

I'm calling it. Watch me here. I'll bet you anything. Uncomfortably Furry.

It's an athletic rabbit. Real fast, boosts its jumps with fire. Final evolution has to be peak performance, runner's body, y'know? It's GOT to look just EPIC! Long legs, toned muscles, bipedal to run even faster. It oozes confidence & energy. We got ourselves another Furry Bait starter, kind of a trend with these here Fire Starters! Seriously, quote me on that:

    Uncomfortably Furry.

Typings though, hard to tell. Grookie might be grass/ground, grass/rock all territory we ain't covered much. Though... weirdly enough.... i'm picking up a Grass/Fairy fighting Monkey monk though.

Sobble might just stay Water type. Nothing keeping Game Freak from just going back to basics to be easy and just keep them monotype again. Well... other than how clearly hard they're trying to sell these new starters as the hot new thing. Pack O' Sass n' Dazzle, we got here!

So I'm convinced too... Scorbunny? Becomes our first Fire/Electric type!

They KNOW they need to make that typing the poster boy, the most glam and showy thing they got? The big ol' sports rabbit? Fists of Fire & Thunder!

  15. So, was contemplating Pokemon design again. And I'd like to get an opinion from two of you...

@SolarFlare13 as a fan of pokemon

    &

    @Duality as a scientific advisor!

See, been considering what dual types could be used for the Ice type, and one thing that crops up alot in the "Fakemon" pool of making fake-pokemon. Poison/Ice pokemon. What usually comes up is some sort of cute little living beaker or a highly specialized native pokemon... but I think there's something there in biology I can work on.

I remember something a while back ago about how fish in the Antarctic survive fatally cold water temperatures... because their blood is basically Antifreeze, the same stuff you put in cars... the same stuff that can essentially eat through solid concrete.

So that leaves us with something poisonous by nature, Ice by climate it was born into. Poison/Ice! ...Wonder if it has to be a fish though... way, way too many fish already in Pokemon...

    2. Duality

      Duality

Are you sure you didn't call me in as a dual-type adviser too? :mlp_icwudt:

I can confirm all of this science, though. Antifreeze-blooded fish are definitely a thing that exists. Apparently polar bear livers are extremely toxic, too, due to ludicrous amounts of Vitamin A in them causing a very unpleasant and self-explanatory affliction called 'hypervitaminosis A' if eaten. Rather similar to carbon monoxide poisoning in terms of symptoms, and involves plenty of peeling flesh, but I'm not sure how it would lend itself to poison-type attacks.

    3. Widdershins

      Widdershins

Hmm... Well.... issue with an aquatic snake...

I know the franchise, if anything comes even near the water, it gets water typing slapped right on it! We're already fairly drenched in Water/Poison types... but a water snake would be pretty cool too! Could always use Dhelmise's screwball logic that the Water just happens to be where its found and the pokemon could just as easily maneuver on land. Which... beats me why we're capable of taking all the fish pokemon out for battles on land, but... I digress...

Tentacruel isn't directly a one-to-one translation, but Malamar is clearly squid & Octillery is clearly also derived from Octopi. Plenty of room there for finagling! ...though I might be a bit bias in having more cute tentacles around!

That's sorta the crux there though. It's important to point out both Poison & Ice as more integral to the creature rather than its method of locomotion. Heck, I'm surprised they didn't try to slap on a Flying typing onto Inkay!

Hmm... that's an idea... but I'm not sure how feasible attaching crystal to a viscous-form goobody. Alolan Muk has its embedded pebbles and there's now Melmetal... but those appear to be a seperate foreign object lodged in the materia...This'll have to be more a topic for Duality, more experience on gooeyness from thy.

And of course, You'd be a "Math/Science Type Advisor Pokemon!"

Hmm. But its not actually literal Antifreeze? Like, you can't just wring the fish out over your engine block? ...there's a mental image for you...

...but this goes back to my prior topic. There's a bit of half logic to follow with Pokemon. Something like the Pokedex saying that "This creature developed its toxic blood to live in colder climates, and has since used this quality to make itself disgustingly toxic to any would-be predators." But I feel implied that we'd have to somehow weaponize the toxic blood to have it qualify as a Poison.... typing...

OMG! Arctic Horny Toad! You think Game Freak would go for a pokemon that literally squirts its blood out at its opponents in battle?!!?

    4. Duality

      Duality

They say that there's only two true arrangements of matter: crystalline and viscous. Anything that one might call 'solid' that doesn't have a rigid crystalline arrangement of molecules is in fact viscous - just with very high viscosity. Hence, integrated transitions from true crystals to viscous material aren't chemically feasible. Not all ice is true crystal, admittedly, but even so you'd be hard-pressed to form any sort of graduated phasing from ice to gloop. Generally, also, with ectoplasmic entities, their outer membrane must be kept almost entirely intact at all times for them not to leak out their innards, so they'd have to surround the chunks of ice embedded in their surface with membrane underneath and around, as foreign objects.

The question, then, clearly, is why they'd carry around chunks of ice held gingerly in their outer membrane. In answer, I propose 1) for the purpose of being a readily available source of water, since ectoplasms contain a lot of water and thus would need replenishment regularly if on land due to dehydration/evaporation, and 2) for the purpose of temperature regulation, since ectoplasms can't just 'pump blood through veins near the surface' like us mammals do and thus would probably benefit from objects constantly on hand to sink excess heat into. If it produced enough heat to need any significant quantity of ice for this reason, though, it would strongly imply that its metabolism is very high and therefore that it would need a lot of food to maintain its energy. Much glomping would be required, in short.

I think it is actually antifreeze of a similar nature to what we put in car engines. Something like ammonia, maybe? I could be wrong, though.

I very much like the Arctic horny toad idea. Those amphibians are terrifyingly great. :fabulous:

  16.  While back ago, playing Spyro with my little niece. It's been a while of fumbling since she doesn't get the controls all too well and she keeps getting distracted. I try to goad her on to finishing the level, reminding her that the guy at the start said something about the mayor getting abducted or something, that she might wanna Save Tah Day.

She says no, she wants to just spend the next hour & a half splashing in the little courtyard stream.

And that's... just the purest there. Purest intent, purest Confusion. Why I created Widdershins, at that.

Eh, screw intent, screw whatever's expected of me or what the consequences may be. Those aren't things I can help. So what if the mayor's gettin' tortured or whatever by them Rhynocs? Am I gonna race to the end, do every objective I feel is being asked of me to fufill some checklist no one ever explicitly stated, then get sad because the game is over & I can't do anything more?

Nyo! I learned how to do a splishy-splash! Ah'm gonna do that now!

When I was young I would go into the hub world of super Mario sunshine and run errands, which consisted of bringing fruits everywhere like a delivery boy. I did something similar in Majora’s mask.

    2. Widdershins

      That same play sesson:

She turns to me... some while after I made my own attempt at reassuring her that dying in the game can be fun too.

"Hey Uncle! Wanna see me die again?!!?"

And, deep inside, Widdershins is in a pink, sparkly cloud of ecstatic joy, wiping a tear of Liquid Pride.

I've taught a Five-Year-Old how to find hilarity in suicide! I couldn't be prouder!!

  17. Would it shock any of you to know I have another two draconequui in the works?

Because I can’t help but think that making more than one is a sure sign of madness.

...Madness is also one of the draconequui OCs.

      What about Sheogorath?

    3. Widdershins

      Widdershins

Sheogorath is pretty much Discord in Skyrim. While I don't know his magic, that seems alot like Chaos, randomness. I've got a much more set definition on what Madness is. It's something frightening but friendly.

Though I am dickering on whether Insanity would fit better... which seems to fit the design spirit.

    4. Stone Cold Steve Jobs

      Stone Cold Steve Jobs

But can discord give me the wabbajack so I can sell it at a reasonable price?

insanity seems to be more violent. Chaos is just another word for what happens when you leave me in charge of something. And madness is madness.

  18. I don't understand this whole My Little Pony Forums Pony World Cup 2018 stuff.

Like, don't think there's any world or cup involved.

Feels like there's some story I'm missing here, which bothers me greatly.

And... this is... some sort of part-by-part post at a time story being told by several forum accounts? To... explain some sort of voting of community members over which characters they like the most? ...eh... What is this implied goal? Pretty much the only direction I've had to know it exists is these banners.

If I was trapped in a dream, my first impulse would not be to achieve a goal or work to some climax. Dreams are experience.

    3. Lord Valtasar

      Lord Valtasar

it's an ongoing event that started last year, there are teams(https://mlpforums.com/clubs/) that people voted of who they'd consist of, then joined the one they liked most, and then the matches started, polls appear every now and then (we have one at the moment which is what the banner represents) it's nearing it's climax as only 4 teams stand now of the initial 32
there's also a giveway of a console(xbox ps4pro or Switch) that will happen at the end of it, you take part by commenting on the matches while being part of a team

People just tell me to vote for something so I do it. I thought that was the whole point.

  19. Dedodpo: The fandom nickname for the toddler version of Deadpool. Arguably, not too much of a difference. You DARE call the great SPIRIT OF CONFUSION, UNCREATIVE?!!? Why! I'll.... give you a pancake for that!!! … EVERYTHING I DO INVOLVES PANCAKES!!! Didn't want to do this to y'all, but you've challenged me now! I'll have to use my talent in the languages of the Elder Gods! Our word for today, Kiddos, is... Fssh'thnt'chth'tuchtych'tillich'tuk'talla-Fug'droou. Yes. All one word. Doesn't quite really translate into physical lettering, but there ya go!
  20. "Oh no! The tentacles are getting all over the place! Fit in there, you little cutie!" "I had hoped I wouldn't have to do this..... actually put in effort." "Pat, pat, pat. Pat dah dead bird flesh. Pat, pat, pat." Edit: And another one that just happened that I have to add: "Well, It is a baby made entirely out of Cancer."
  21. Maybe I worry too much about Proportion in the characters I create.

If Widdershins is exactly thirteen feet long, stands at five feet to the top of his head in his usual shoulders-just-off-the-ground level pose, and his ears cover enough distance to trail just past its neck ruffle to a foot into his colored scales section...

Then that means his ears have to be somewhere between three to five feet long...

...Because the crux measurement there... is that if he set his head ontop of a pony's... his ears could both encircle said pony's torso at least twice.

If Faulkner can get away with making a character who, even at over 50 feet away is a head taller than a full grown man and sets his broken leg in concrete, anything can work.

    3. Widdershins

      Widdershins

      @Stone Cold Steve Tuna

       ...How does that work?

I mean, I get the concrete leg bit... but the perspective thing...

      @Duality

No, no. Not DisOrder. Not an uncontrollable assortment of data & stimuli, to whit, basically Life. No, Confusion. A failing of awareness, the losing of self, the... the....

… what were we talking about again?

Think of it as Chaos being the bouquet. While Confusion is the intonation & language of the flowers inherent in the flower arrangement. The Forest from the Trees. Brain versus Mind. Soul or Spirit.

Also, Kinda like the idea of him hating symmetry, yet having his own brand of it all the same & in spite of his efforts.

…How many times are we going to edit this comment?!!?

      Stone Cold Steve Jobs

It doesn’t get explained. You just kind of have to accept it because the novel is more surrealist in nature than anything else.  And is literally all about trying to bury a woman who died and is starting to stink up the place. And bananas.

  22. @Dji After having shunted off his rider, Kaltrop remained hovering, fruitlessly commenting as Dawn made her own attempts to turn herself about midair to now avail. His unfinished sentences punctuating between flaps of his large wings. "Use your-... Use your stupid w-... Fine." With a spinning dart of a dive usually reserved for snatching small birds for a meal out of the air, Kaltrop quickly covers the distance between the two to grab Dawn by the far end of her plummeting, catching her back in his claws & spinning under her to somersault rightside up again only to cover the several yard distance to the nearest rooftop and landing there with a thrown, two foot skidding stop to Dawn on the hay-thatched rooftop, the drake awkwardly alighting on the roof's peaked center some few feet farther. Sweating as much as a drake can & awkwardly trying to stand on a rooftop not exactly sized for anything longer/bigger than your more flat-footed pony, Kaltrop mumbles. "If you don't like the air, don't do things that get you sent there..." @Catpone Cerberus Me? I am a great many things. The floating llama-esque head continues, rather emphatically. It's mouth not so much opening to speak as its lipline from its bifurcated, pursed mouth twisting to pose in whatever expression it deems to fit its words & expression. I have been called a god, a destroyer of worlds, an immense wurm of disproportionate moral... Dodger of Court Fines... The head begins a very slow counterclockwise (naturally) spin around its center in the portal. Somewhat akin to a broken record. Ironically enough. ..Though most use the appellations of Dork, Urgh, and "Ohnothimagain." ...Yet to translate that last phrase though. Having now completed slightly over a one-third-turn now in the portal, the rightward one of the draconequus's enormously large ears, previously having been stuck folded back through the edge of the portal, practically unfurls itself to flop down and easily cover the five foot distance to the ground. The left, gigantically floppy bunny ear appears to be attempting the same. It seems as if Widdershins isn't so much as travelling through said portal, but stuck halfway through while reacting to different gravity on either side of it. But you can call me Widdershins! Do believe that's the name I'm going by in this continuity. … ...Gosh, this is uncomfortable. Widdershins's long mouth shortens on his somehow equally shorter, yet longer, snout in a wincing expression having now reached a point pretty much upside-down of the position where he had originally appeared. ...If you could, uh, help a Draggonaquiz out? Was trying to unclog the toilet with my face. Rose Luck is gonna so be totes mad again! Heh! … Y'know, if I had a spine, this'd probably hurt even more!
  23. Sorry for not posting... Kinda been having a hard time coping with a job I don't like & emotional issues. Got ideas, but find it hard to set aside the time.
  24. The name for the sound your Dad makes when you accidentally wake him up when you try to change the channel on him after you thought he fell asleep in front of the Television. Okay... okay, now I'm just imagining this world... where its not only customary to dress the furniture in your house in prescribed gender roles, but aforesaid furniture attire does have a nasty habit of snagging in the randomly appearing zippers that show up on all surfaces of said world. Like, randomly sized cartoon zippers that just appear as tears in reality & spacetime that the denizens sometimes snag, shrug and complain about accidentally puncturing space time, yet again. You're misplaced grammer has brought me enjoyable creativity. Thank you! Our word for today, children, is!: Shnurburst.
  25.  Think that's what's important. Just focus on what makes me happy, like Pokémon. Ignore what hurdles I can't reach, or the things I feel I am deficient in, the things I feel I should feel bad about & can't help...Just... just constantly reboot my memory. Wipe it clean & stop reliving the hated moments.

Just do what I can, when I can, with the things that do make me happy.

I can manage self-love at least, this holiday.
