  1. I think it may be their way of testing the waters to see if it was possible to finally produce an Equestria Girls television show along the same and/or similar lines to what the show currently experiences. After four movies, it might be high-time for them to want to move onto the next level. Then again, it could be due to DHX not wanting to work on animating two movies and an entire twenty-six episode season for next year.
  2. She would assume that became obsessed with power. Becoming Adagio's friend would take a while as Sunset was honeyed over with harsh words that served to undermine her ability of being able to move on from the past. She wouldn't become a slave as she would be too smart to fall into that category.
  3. So Mario Kart 8 can easily be ported over to the Switch, yet the DLC will have to be included otherwise people are going to complain about having to pay and download it again.
  4. Well, this is something unusual, wouldn't you say?
  5. Mario Kart 8 didn't really use the Game Pad all that much aside from showing a course map and your character's icon which could be pressed to beep the horn of your kart.
  6. I'm not afraid but I don't like having my teeth poked about in the manner that they usually rely on.
  7. Equestria Girls has come a long way since the first movie and its popularity has increased with every subsequent movie. In fact, I'd attribute its success thanks to Sunset being such a remarkable character who has gone from being a Twilight clone and become her own person with her own goals, insecurities, and desires. Many want her to appear in the show and I think they can do that if they were to provide an ideal backstory that has effort put into it. Besides, I've always said that Sunset was the bridge that connected the show and EQG together. I think the writers never said anything regarding about the canon because of not wanting to upset the bronies. The same can be true about the comic writers not bringing it up. Again, fans have to realize what the intended age dynamic is. If Hasbro says EQG and the comics are canon to the show, then so be it. Bronies shouldn't complain because they don't like that kind of direction, yet when I say bronies, I talk about the small group who think they are entitled.
  8. They might need to explain how Wii U games would work without the Game Pad as it was an essential component.
  9. I personally see Equestria Girls as being canon to the show. There have been references made in the show that were carried over into EQG and now the reverse is starting to become true although at a much smaller and somewhat insignificant pace. Also, since there are only four movies so far, there isn't really all that much to catch up on so anyone could watch them and get some additional lore if they felt like it. With the comics... I do see them as canon as well, but I would place Equestria Girls above them every time. I guess I'm not 100% sold on the comics connection as I am with EQG's connection. Since there are many MLP comics, reading all of them can be taxing and not all of them turned out as good as expected.
  10. I think that might be their only option for those who missed out on the Wii U experience.
  11. And if there's one thing the fandom would go into a tizzy over, it would be whether the comics were canon to the show or not.
  12. I heard that there were additional secrets but I never knew where to find them. Between our two articles, I think we've gotten everyone covered so that they don't have to look. Still, it's sad that physical or digital Wii U games won't work for the Switch, but perhaps a different kind of digital will suffice.
  13. It will probably be brought up next year when they reveal more information. Oh, and I have this in case anyone doesn't know about it yet. http://ca.ign.com/articles/2016/10/24/nintendo-switch-not-backwards-compatible-with-physical-3ds-or-wii-u-games
  14. And it's that kind of stance which I think is why they don't want to talk about Applejack's parents. It would be a difficult subject to talk about since death is something that people handle differently in their own way. I know fans wants to know what became of them but it appears to be a subject that would bring the notion of death into the forefront, something Hasbro might not appreciate. I actually forgot that Sombra being blown up was seen on screen, but because he is seen throughout much of the season three premiere as a cloud-like presence, he could've just had his physical form destroyed yet still live through his corporeal form--which is what happened in the comics.
  15. Like I said, Adagio would view Sunset as being a threat to her because she would be seen as just as competent. Of course, Adagio knows how to use her words well and can encourage Sunset into being more reasonable. Aria and Sonata would either have to accept Sunset being part of the group or risk being alienated.
  16. Another thing I'd like to see is another generation one villain being re-imagined for the show much in the vein of both Tirek and the Smooze. There are a few villains left over who fit into that mould quite nicely.
  17. It seemed like the pendants were only meant for their use, but then the only time someone thought about it was when Sunset tried to reach for the one around Adagio's neck. A shame that idea was never used again.
  18. I think one of the forbidden things Hasbro doesn't want to see in the show is the concept of death.
  19. @@Sparklefan1234 Not to mention a lot of swimsuit images.
  20. Guess people who spent so much money on them are probably feeling relieved knowing their collection will be carried over into the next generation.
  21. Adagio was aware of what Sunset transformed into in the first movie despite not actually seeing it for herself. She also knew that she attempted to control the entire student body and use them for her own benefit. Those factors might have her view Sunset as a threat to her dominion. Villains don't like it when other villains or heroes for that matter have a similar power to their own. Adagio could get rid of Sunset to prevent her from assuming control if she were to end up falling down that path had she allowed her emotions to consume her thoughts. Then again, Adagio could see Sunset as a potential ally and one who could be used to her advantage. Who knows, she might even see her as a kindred spirit equal to herself compared with her sisters.
  22. I don't own a tablet or anything similar to that but my mum does and she uses it everyday.
  23. Here's another image of Sunset using a bow.
  24. I've seen some of the nasty comments that were posted on his twitter account and it shames me to know that there are those in the fandom who would act like that. Why not just appreciate what we're getting instead of complaining because certain things aren't being brought up in the show? Is that how it works with Hasbro and the writers? Okay, that does make more sense than what I said, but I'd like to think there are some things Hasbro will view as off-limits because of the nature of MLP.
  25. That one is just the regular Mario Amiibo but in a different colour so I have no interest in it. I believe Amiibo are going to be compatible with the Switch since we did see them in the trailer despite not actually being used.
