  1. I wanna wish you all a good night, but I also want to get this off my chest. :fluttershy:

    Spoiler

Exactly one year ago my grandfather died in the hospital from pneumonia. A fungus grew in his lungs, so it was impossible to breath for him.

And I still feel so guilty and angry at myself. He was in the hospital for almost 2 months, and not one time I had visited, while he wanted to see me so bad. I thought it would be alright, and he could almost go home, when it got so bad he got in coma and 24 hours later he was death. His last words were about me and my brothers, how proud he was of us, but still I hadn't seen him for 2 months.

If you read this, can you give advice on how to life with it, because I keep being angry at my self and sad. Thanks. :adorkable:

We all make mistakes. You just so happened to learn one of the hardest ways. Don't beat yourself up over it. The important thing is, you saw him while he was at his best, and judging by his last comments, you made him happy.

      Sleep well friend. :)

Sorry to hear about that buddy, I've been through this scenario plenty of times with my grandfather, aunt, and my own dad. While it may be difficult adjusting to life without your grandfather around, just know that he loved you and was proud of you. I never got any of that from my dad, so just keep remembering that he loved you. Don't feel guilty about it man, these things can't be helped, look back on memories of him with happiness, and you'll see yourself through it in no time. 👌

Living with the guilt isn't away to continue,

sadly, as painful as it sound, you have to find a way to forgive yourself before the regret of that overwhelms you down the road

I hope you know we all think well of you regardless and wish you well in this
