@Hierok Eh, I still think that sequence would have made more sense if done with literally any other character than Ponk.
Just because she went coo coo for coco puffs in one episode doesn't make her the duplicitous character of the prideful Dr. Jekel. :/
Moonbutt, on the other hand, actually went through, as least in the stories, the moral stuggles that were apparent in the relation to Jekel/Hyde.The descriptors right at the start of Alive, as well, seem to fit a great deal more with Darkhorse than with Bouncyhorse.
