It's called a Cintiq and its 2000$ :] Again, not worth it. I have tried them at conventions. Once you get used to a screenless tablet, it mine as well be like drawing on a screen.

Nevermind xD PaintTool SAI's port to mac is very bad. In that case maybe torrent photoshop or download GIMP. The screen tablets arn't worth it at all. I can hardly tell the difference between the cintiq (one with screen) and my large intuos. In fact, my hand gets in the way when I use the cintiq. I wouldn't buy a cintiq even if I had the money. Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT the next step up.

That looks great for your first time. As for what program to use, I would suggest PaintTool SAI since its free and amazing.

You should probably invest in a better ipad painting app... like brushes.... or autodesk's painting app.. You might also want to consider spending more then 30 minutes on it : Good enthusiasm though, keep it up. Also, you might want to watch some tutorial videos on digital painting: [media=]http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Bc0mNcMaug[/media] and there are a lot on the idrawgirls.com website. (it's more then just girl drawings) edit:sorry for so many edits xD

I wouldn't buy a 3DS to save my life :] it's not a gameboy it's not worth it. I haven't gotten in trouble with my psp or android, I think it was just that kids time of the month -

Are you going to make your own shoes?You literally can't do anything without coming into contact with something that has passed through, in at least some part, a sweat shop. Boycotting it isn't really that noble, just buy what you like to buy. The people work there because they want to work there. Their conditions are slowly becoming better, but if we all boycotted things then prices would skyrocket because it would become a lot more expensive to buy. Sweatshops have been around for too long, removing them all in an instant would wreck havoc on our economy.

It's not the people that run Hasbro that are the problem, the problem is Hasbro's Lawyers which will do their jobs even if its to sue an orphanage. Remember Bethesda suing mojang? Doesn't matter how awesome the game is. Lawyers and Lawyers.

The boxes you look at are all raster images printed at 300dpi. There are things with bitmap that you could never achieve with vectors. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, neither is better then the other. The poptart boxes are made in photoshop as bitmaps. virtually all the art in advertising is done via bitmaps.

Doesn't matter as long as I can give you money :] I think a clothing store would be nice, there are some online services that make them as they are purchased so you don't have to commit to anything. I'm looking to get maybe 3 mlp shirts and an mlp sweatshirt. -

Hopefully I can be diligent enough to do one of these a day. took < 30 minutes to do so they are all speed paintings. Used: PaintTool SAI, Intuos 4 Large Tablet. Day2 - Yes i know she doesn't have her cutie mark, ran out of time :] I need to spend more time on the hair >.< Day1

Paint Tool SAI has no support for vectors, at the very least it will convert the image to raster. Inkscape is completely vector, so it would make sense for it to work with vectors. I do not believe that Inkscape has an raster editing abilities.
