Come now; I once lived in Maryland, and I can assure you that we are kind people (outside of Baltimore, anyhow). Just be wary of stray crabs, should you visit the far-eastern locales.

Not the people, but more or less a certain area of the wilderness up there. Have you ever seen that movie? 

I have heard of it in passing, though I have not seen it for myself. I believe that film took place in Burkittsville, yes? If that is the case, I believe that the Blair Witch is a fable... as terrifying as it may or may not be.  I must admit, however... judging by the story of the Blair Witch, camping or hiking in such a location may be rather difficult.
