I actually got old Matthew to start this morning! Seems like there's an issue with moisture getting into the ignition system, due to a loose electrical connection, or a cracked distributor cap as suggested by @Cyclone1066, which in turn causes the engine not to be able to fire. It all makes perfect sense now. Truck won't start if it's been raining or if it's super humid, which was yesterday. Truck DOES start if the outside air is dry and hot, which was this morning. Notice the pattern?

I think at this point, Matt is just trying to tell me he hates the rain.
