You know it's funny you should say that about phones I sometimes really hate how much time it actually is taking away from me in the now.

Rather then enjoying the moment people take up their phones to ehm capture the moment while not actually enjoying the moment itself. Since they are so focused on capturing it. For example went to a concert everyone had their phones up no dancing just recording so I did what I do and did a wild dance making an absolute ass of myself. Guess what people put down their phones and actually enjoyed it was it cringey sure but so is enjoying every moment through a screen.

@Fluttershyfan94: Yup, it's all about balance when it comes to smartphones. I went about 8 months with a flip phone and recently switched back to a smartphone, since I needed internet access when traveling. I picked up some good habits while using that flip phone and pretty much treat my smartphone the same way. Enjoy life around you.
