  1. I'd bring back Doctor Whooves, at least as a cameo. I just like the idea that he's an actual time traveller.
  2. I've never watched MLP ads in the first place. So it'd make no difference to me whatsoever - I'd watch the show.
  3. Favorite: Amending Fences. My favorite episode with my favorite character – Moondancer. Underrated: The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows. In terms of ratings it did fine, but I feel not many people ever talk about it, probably because it came during a season with so many other great episodes. Overrated: Shadow Play. I know how much people love some of the characters from this two-parter, but I think it has many problems. Hated: Can’t say I have one, but there is one episode that I can’t make myself rewatch (even though I like Maud Pie): The Maud Couple.
  4. “I was about to breach his defense lines, but then our cat started eating my cavalry.”
  5. I voted for Spike, but Thod should get an honorable mention.
  6. Blue Ruin. A great movie about terrible events.
  7. Making the show with a "kids are dumb and will watch whatever" mindset.
  8. I started watching in 2015, during the hiatus between S4 and S5. Watched the first 4 seasons, and then S5 came out and I stuck around.
  9. Star Trek, The Big Bang Theory, Supernatural, Game of Thrones, The Office, The Walking Dead, The Witcher, Seinfeld, The Sopranos, House M. D., Gossip Girl, Avatar (both), Breaking Bad (I’m planning to watch this one). The list goes on.
  10. Favorite: The Return of Harmony. Good episodes, plus Discord was introduced there. Least favorite: School Daze. I'm generally not a fan of the School of Friendship idea.
  11. Favorite: Cutie Re-Mark. I liked almost everything about it so much, that I'm willing to overlook Starlight's rushed redemption. Least favorite: Shadow Play. Too many characters, too little time for each of them to do anything meaningful. The villain is, in my opinion, the least interesting one in the history of FiM.
  12. Favorite: Rainbow Rocks, because of the music. Least favorite: Friendship Games - I just find it lazy and forgettable.
  13. In my opinion, one of the best fan-made MLP songs is Lullaby for a Princess: The quality of this one is pretty good as well, too bad the project was never finished: 4everfreebrony has already been mentioned, and his older songs are pretty well-known, so I'll add one of the newer gems:
  14. Some G5 background ponies concept designs (source):
  15. I wonder how heavy pegasi casualties were when their magic suddenly - poof - disappeared. Hopefully, not much worse than when Tirek took it.

  16. In Ukrainian it's броні (broni), a simple transliteration. Singular and plural forms are the same.
  17. I was a kid in late 90s - early 2000s, so for me it's Xena The Warrior Princess, the first seasons of Pokemon, TMNT (the 80s version), Charmed, and Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers. This opening still gives me chills:
  18. I still have plans to rewatch a couple of things from FiM, so technically I never stopped watching.
  19. I read more fantasy books these days, but watch more sci-fi movies. For me it's hard to choose between these two genres. Superheroes are OK, but I prefer a bit more grounded takes, like Unbreakable or Watchmen.
  20. After seeing this image and remembering that Izzy and Sunny were alone in a lighthouse for a while and Izzy spilled the beans (it was in the trailer, so not a spoiler), I'm now 60% convinced that it was a subtle reference to The Lighthouse movie.

  21. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed it. It implies not only that they might eat meat, but also that they somehow know about the Italinan city of Bologna. But really, I highly doubt that the writers had this in mind. It's similar to how the G4 writers never explained why ponies measure in feet - the words were used without much of a second thought.
  22. They will probably all live in Maretime Bay, although I would personally prefer if they traveled Equestria together, discovering new places and friends.
  23. Everyone is saying the word, so I'm going to say this:

    M...

    ...Mustard!

  24. I had very low expectations, and the trailer didn’t help. But I actually liked the movie way more than I thought I would. The story was simple, but not simplistic, even the glitter part that made me cringe when I was watching the trailer made sense in context. The characters and VAs performances were pretty good. The attention to detail, both visually and story-wise, was surprisingly great. I’ve never watched MLP for the jokes, but this movie had a couple that made me chuckle. The double nod and bop bits were brilliant, some of the running gags worked pretty well. The songs were decent too. But is it bad that Sprout’s song was my favorite one? I usually like the references that MLP makes, and this movie really provided. Sometimes it event felt excessive, to be honest. Also, it’s a bit weird that ponies know what bologna is. Some things that bothered me: cutie marks were only on one flank and often barely visible (did ponies evolve over the time period that passed since G4?); magic is now somehow connected to some random crystals; no non-pony sentient species were present, and the number of ponies seemed kind of low. Many people are also bothered with the whole “ponies are separated” premise, but to me it seems like a relatively recent development, judging by the posters in the pegasi city. What didn’t bother me was the final transformation, because it was to be expected. Now I need to rewatch it to see more little details and pay closer attention to background ponies.
