@Moon Glow still around? -
@Moon Glow Nightmare Season reached the edge of the Everfree forest just as the sun was sinking over the distant hills. Night time was close at hand. He found a bush and laid down behind it. He knew he had to wait a few more hours before everypony was is their homes and asleep. As he laid there, he thought to himself. How mush he really hated what he has to do to get food. Sure the roots in good supply will keep him fed with normal pony food, but being low.... He shook the thought out of his mind. He had to do what he had to do. Even if he really hated doing it. As the owls started hooting in the distant forest, Nightmare could no longer hear any sound coming out of the town. He got up and looked to Ponyvile, nothing stirred. He started walking into town. He lowered the fire of his mane and tail, this also caused it to lower the light it emanated as well. He could "Feel" the dreams of the ponies in the houses he passed by. Some so sweet and tasty. Some normal. A few were having bad dreams. He looked around for homes that were having the best dreams, and those he had not fed off of before. As he was walking through the quiet streets, trying to find his next meal, he spotted something under a lamp post. It was a mare sleeping outside. He instantly stopped himself. Why was a pony asleep there? He thought maybe he should just turn back and head down a different street. But he felt her dreaming. It should be safe, maybe. He defiantly would not choose her to feed from. To much out in the open for other ponies to pass by and see. He started walking very slow and quiet past her. Once on the other side he would turn down a separate street. As he was about half way past her, a bug landed right on his snout. He tried to shake it off, but instead the bug bit him. He bucked and stepped back some, loudly, and his mane and tail flared up casting its light almost like the morning rays. He swatted it with is fore-hoof. Got it. "H.....Hey!" He froze and looked over to where he heard the voice. The mare had woken up. "Excuse me? Hello?" She said. He had been spotted. That blasted bug caused him to wake up that sleeping mare. He turned almost on a dime and mad a dash for it. Embers from his mane and tail was lifted into the air and fall behind him. He had to get out of sight and fast. To many times he fled for his life, and this will not be the last either. He heard hoof falls trying to trail him. Thankfully his legs were far longer than the ponies he seen in this land. Back in his birth place. Running away was much harder when they have the same strides as he did. He figured he could hide someplace. Let his attacker behind him continue on. He did not want any pony to see him dash into his forest home. He saw a large manor off to the side up ahead. The windows were broken and the door on rusty hinges. The building looked abandoned. A perfect place to hide inside till his pursuer gave up. With a powerful kick and a bit of his magic to help, he launched himself up and into a second story window. Breaking a bit of the window that was not broken to begin with. He was breathing heavily, he tried to calm his nerves so he could dim his fire so the light would not be beacon to those on the outside. Why did his kind have to have fire for their manes and tails?

@reader8363 To two colts jumped as they heard Shadow behind them. "Oh, Umm." "We are looking for a strange pony that ran off in here last night sir." "I saw him, a stallion all black, like coal. He also lit up the night. His mane and tail was not hair, but fire. I saw him dash out of my neighbor's place after hearing a scream." The pair stood their frozen looking at Shadow. They did not know rather to flee or if they could bring him along on their search. -
@Moon Glow Nightmare season woke up in his makeshift bed. A slab of stone inside a section of a cave. He had lived here for a few years now. Secluded and most importantly, it held a very special tree. With a yawn and a stretch, his mane and air flared up. The flame he emitted lit up the cave as though it had lighting inside. He figured it was just past four in the evening. He got out of his bed and headed for a small cavern in the cave. As he left this short cavern, he walked into a large room within the cave. A lonely tree stood in the middle. Light shinning on it from a crack in the ceiling. Flowers and vines grew around its base. He look around. The cavern that would lead to his storage area. On the other side of the tree was the direction of the kitchen. Left was to the exit. He first head to his storage room. Inside was a few boxes he had crafted himself. A few food items stored inside the cool room. One box in particular he headed for and looked in. There he found but a few roots. The roots looked as though they had several earthy dark colors that ran across them in waves. Slowly moving. "Hmm" He said to himself. "I am a bit low on you." With that he turned and headed to the base of the tree. Once there, he used his horn to move the dirt about to uncover the roots in a few areas. "You do not have many dream roots. guess I will have to feed the old fashion way." He headed outside his little homey cave and found himself in a small glade. A small stream ran through the middle of it, and the three sides were walled off with thick brambles and underbrush. Unless you flew over head, one would not think such a place existed in the darkest part of the Everfree forest. He took a quick glance to his right along the cliff face to his little garden. He did not need food if he feed normally, but on those roots, he needed some extra food. He left and looked back at the vines covering his cave. Unless one looked hard, it was just a cliff face. He pushed his way through the thicket that formed his wall and entered into the forest. He traveled a few minutes before a timberwolf appeared in front of him. It quickly turned and ran away from him. It only took them a short time after he made his way here to learn to avoid that particular pony and its flame. He turned and headed to the closest town he knew, Ponyville. He figured he would get to the edge of the forest just as the sun set. He had to make sure no pony saw him. It was always trouble when ponies knew he was around.

@reader8363 Well it was up to you if Shadow heard them or not. Also keep OOC stuff to the OOC thread. p.s. Gmodding actually means making a character to be god like. Saying he heard something is not making him god like. -

@reader8363 As Shadow passed though the first few trees, he heard voices up ahead. They sounded like two colts talking. "I told you, I was not seeing things. It was a black stallion with fire for his mane and tail. He ran into the forest here." As he got close to them, they turned. They knew they were not suppose to go into the Everfree forest. Now some pony saw them. Nightmare Season dashed straight through the forest. He seemed to know the way he was headed. Twisting in and out of trees, he eventually came to what appeared to be a dead end. He looked around to make sure none had followed him, then he pushed his way through the brambles before him. They were thick and hide the view on what was on the other side of them. After he got through them, he found himself in a small clearing in the darkest part of the woods. A stream ran though the center. Brambles and thickets surrounded three sides. The fourth side had a cliff face. Vines creeped down the side of the rocks. He came to a section and slipped right through a section of vines. From there, he was inside of a cave. A short ways into the corridor, it opened up into a small area with a crack in the ceiling. There was three paths that led to smaller rooms he fashioned into a storage area, kitchen, and bed room. In the center of the large room stood a strange tree. The bark seemed to adjust in different earthen colors. Like waves across a lake. "Well" He said to the tree. "If you had some more dream roots. I would not have been seen last night." -

//OOC Thread @reader8363 The Everfree forest was dark and still in the glow of the night's moon. Very little stirred within the forest. Animals had found their beds and laid sleeping till the new dawn awoke them. Yet a single thing moved through the trees. At a distance if any pony noticed, a feint glow weaving in and out of the trees. A stallion with coat as black as a moonless night, and his mane and tail was ablaze with fire. A single black horn pointing to the stars upon his head. Nightmare Season was walking to the edge of the forest. He knew of the town nestled on the edge of the forest he had come to live in after his long journey from the deep south. He was hungry. His stash of food to supplement his typical food was running very thin. He had decided he needed fresh food. As he came to the last of the forest, he paused and looked out across the town. Sleeping ponies in every home. Sweet dreams jumping through their heads. The thought of such caused his stomach to growl. It too wanted to be feed. And before them was a perfect feast. Nightmare remembered once again about his family, about his kind. Also, how he hated to feed the way he had to. Without his roots, he would have to do it to get nourishments in him. He shook the thought out of his head and started to head into town. Keeping a close eye out for any ponies out this late. He did not want any pony to know he was around. He came to the edge of the town a felt this home had three ponies living inside. His hunger growing for the fresh food he knew waited him inside. With his magic, he turned to a black mist and floated through the opened window. There in the bed, a couple sleeping in a large bed. Fast asleep and having wonderful dreams. He entered into the mind of the stallion. A jump into his dream world. Nightmare Season found himself inside the dream of the sleeping stallion. A wonderful dream about becoming a prince in Canterlot. Nightmare hated to have to feed, but he had to. He began to absorb the essence of the dream itself. Feeding on it to fill his stomach. As he fed, the dream started to become warped. The once peaceful prince now being chased by monsters. A side effect of eating dreams. It turns them into nightmares. Before the nightmare became too terrible. Nightmare left the sleeping stallion's dream and materialized back inside the room. He was about to enter the other dream when he heard a noise from behind him. A quick turn saw a young filly standing in the doorway holding a stuffed toy. The sudden movement of Nightmare caused her to scream, waking up her parents. Nightmare was seen, he sprinted to the door for his escape and out into the night he dashed. He ran back to the forest's edge. He heard others next to the home he was in waking up to with the commotion the family was causing. He ran inside and to the deepest part of the forest where his cave was at. He would have to stay away from Ponyville for a few days till things died down. -

Nightmare Season Nightmare Season looked out over the town from the edge of the forest he had hidden himself away in. The night sky providing acquitted covering for him not to be seen. Only the slight glow from his fiery mane and tail would possibly give him away if he did not lower the brightness they emitted. He was hungry, and his food supplements was very low. Should he risk being seen? To head into the town before him to find a sleeping pony? The thoughts of fresh dreams was luring his stomach to take the chance. He just hated how he had to get his nourishments. He did not want to be the evil so many other ponies believed him to be. So that is my ponysona OC and a sample of my writing. I love having sessions that goes on for a long time. I love telling stories that evolve over time. -

@Raven Rawne@Dark Horse Peony had been dropped off by the side gate. The gate where only a select few are allowed to go through to avoid the bustle of the main gates. She was instantly greeted buy a stallion who help to escort the blind mare to the reserved ticket booth. Several others started to unload a few baggage that belong to her. She purchased three tickets to Ponyville in the deluxe car. Meals included. The two who were waiting for Peony to show up after awhile noticed that a small locomotive came up with a very luxurious car and latched it onto the train that was at the station. Both figured it was like for some high class noble or something. Several minutes latter, with them thinking she may not show, a young stallion came walking down the platform calling their names. Surprised at first they answered him. "Ah, yes. We have your accommodations ready and Mis Peony Spring is there awaiting your arrival." The two was escorted to the back of the train. All the way to the car that was recently added. A crew of ponies took charge of Natural's Wagon with her permission to load it up in the cargo car. As the two entered after staring for some time, they felt like this was not a train at all but a small apartment for nobility. Separate beds separated in individual rooms. A wash room with bath. A small dinning area. At the back end a seating area where a maid was pouring tea to a blind folded Peony. -
