@Raven Rawne The whole dark magic ritual would seem a bit far fetched. I want to tie in the pollen again because the plan is each flower is connected to each other by the pollen. I do also want to bring forth the mysterious group that protects the flower after they go back to Canterlot for an intermission of sorts. The idea is if a pony is under the effect of one flower, they can't be effected by another one till the symptom wears off. So the Lazilillies prevents ponies rowing a boat to the small island so we would need to get the hearts desire or giggling funflower first then come back.

@Raven Rawne Alright, I will try and do my best to slow the pase down. It is hard for me to get into her since she is so different from my personality. Nightmare Season was literally me in pony form so it was easy to be him. Peony is a different matter. Also it might help if we make a list of a few things to do or want to toss in. First the Lazilillies I was going to have can't get to the island with them due to their pollen so we have to go get another one first to counter act them. We could also take a trip back to her home for a short visit to try and get Richly off their trail. This could get him to hunt the flowers first for a latter encounter of the bad kind?

private Order of the Flower [Nightmare Season and Raven Rawne]
Nightmare Season replied to Nightmare Season's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Raven Rawne Peony at this point was basically sleepwalking. All the nightmares waking her up had her on steam alone. A couple of times she even walked leaning up against the wagon as Natural pulled it along the road. She somewhat woke up when the wagon stopped and Natural was asking another pony about sleeping areas. The response did not make Peony any happier. She really needed a good bed not the ground again. Farther down the road, they saw the burned out inn the other ponies mentioned. Not really a luxury hotel. Or a motel at that. but the walls would provide shelter from any winds that could start up in the night. This far North was a bit chillier. Natural pulled into it and found an open area without burnt beams over head. The meal was a little better since their Griffonstone adventure. They had time to buy some food at least. Peony remained quiet and nodding in and out of sleep over her oats. Natural broke the silence first and wanted to know what to do. Just the first few words made Peony cringe. She already had him on her mind too much. "Well.... I fear I do not know really dear. The best way would be for me to accept his marriage proposal. The stars only knows bucks to his noggin would not stop him." She hesitated for a second before she decided to show her companion the poster. "Sorry love. He is offer'n enough bits for a pony to buy a manor in Caterlot. When he wants someth'n, or somepony, he will never stop till he has it, or me. Also.....Do you really want a pony like him gett'n his hoof on a flower that can give eternal life?" Peony handed Natural the poster for her to see. She really did not like the part about she was a pony snatcher. "If you will pardon me love. I think I will try and turn in early this evening." Penoy said before Natural had any chance to respond to the poster. Peony laid her half eaten oats on the makeshift table and went into the wagon. She had a lot on her mind, or at least what she could afford to have in her sleep deprivation. After she unrolled her bedding, Peony looked up to Flower and the other potted flower next to it. "Don't do what I know you are thinking of." Peony looked back to Flower. "What choice do I have? I am but slowing her down and worry'n her." Peony then went over to it and removed the spell that kept the pollen in. She patted it to breath in the pollen. Outside Natural was busy putting the dishes away when she heard in the back of her mind; "Quick, you must stop Peony." Natural dashed the the wagon door only to she Peony fall down where she stood next to the magical flower that makes her sleep. -

Famous no. However I did have her as a substitute teacher once. She even sang to us the song from the opening credits. No joke. Sadly I was the only one in my class that knew of this movie. -
private Order of the Flower [Nightmare Season and Raven Rawne]

@Raven Rawne The train ride gave Peony a chance to rest her legs. She was not use to such long walks and her legs were screaming for it. Peony did notice Natural paced a lot. She figured it was to small for her tastes. "Need to settle down love. It will only be three days after all." Peony told her. Peony's nights however were the worst. Each time she fell asleep, nightmares came to her causing her to wake up. By the time the two got off the train, Peony was tired. Very Tired. As Natural asked around for the pier to the ferries, Peony kept dosing off and on. The wait for the ferry, Peony found a nice bench and fell asleep on. Natural had to wake her up when the boat arrived. The ride to Trottingham was short compared to most of their travels so far. The two started heading to some pubs here and there and started asking around about where the Lazililies grew. Peony being sleep deprived was not much help, so Natural had to do most of the talking. After the fourth pub, one mare actually knew. She told the two that there was a small island in the center of a misty lake inland. Thankfully it was just a short ways off of the road to the other side of the isles. As the two were heading out of the city, Peony did notice something hanging up on a notice board. Her and Natural's pictures. Placed there by Richly. Stateing how his bride was pony napped by Natural Order. She quickly tore it down before her companion saw it. She folded it up and stored it in her bag. The lake would be a two day walk out. Peony was hoping she could make it with how tired she was. -
I will gladly tell you my story how I became a bronie. First off I remember as a child seeing the generation one MLP. At the time I was not interested in them. Just some show I saw on tv here and there. I did not return to watching the show till I was twenty eight years old. I had moved to Flagstaff AZ for schooling, there I started to work for the food provider on campus.. One of my fellow co-workers one day started talking about different anime that I have seen. She then told me I might like MLP: Friendship is Magic. Always giving things a chance before I judge, I watched maybe the first three episodes and that was it. It was decent I had to admit, but I stopped and moved on to other anime. I did not return to the show till one day a friend from church took me out for breakfast on my birthday, on the way home we were talking about different anime and cartoons and I said I watched the first three episodes. He then started to tease me for being a bronie. (He did not mean it in a hateful or hurtful way, just teasing was all.) Well I actually did not know what a bronie was, so I looked it up. After reading online about how some saw bronies and was hating on them, I got curious. "What was so bad about watching the show?" I asked myself. I then went back and watched more. And more, till I was on my second viewing. At first I kept it to myself. Not letting anyone know I was watching them. I eventually told the co-worker that told me to watch them. She teased me a bit, but nothing bad. Mostly just playing with me. She then told me I should join this forum, so I did. Made two OCs so far. Nightmare Season my Ponysona, and Peony Spring for fun. As far as my family knowing, only my two siblings. Dad dose not know. Mom is dead. My siblings both seem iffy with me liking the show. Though they do not say much about it at all. When it comes to my friends. I have very few, but I did choose them wisely. They kid with me from time to time about it, but nothing hateful or hurtful. As for others, I do not talked to anyone else much for them to know really. As far as harassment goes, I do not see any. Though, I tend to keep to my self mostly. What aspects drew me to the show? Well, a few things. First off, most cartoons I refuse to watch usually has crude or obscene jokes all through out the show. I hate that kind of humor. MLP has none of that. Good clean jokes, some even for adults. But nothing that makes me regret watching. Also the stories that are told. Great moral and life guidance stuff. It has meaning behind it. Unlike some popular cartoons were the only thing it has is how stupid everyone acts for laughs. Also, the characters just seem real. Each one feels like people you would come across. Hated when they tried to fix poor Derpy. I know two people just like Derpy. Happy she came back. Also another thing I really enjoy about the story, some villains actually became good after. I once was thought of in a poor light. By students, and my own family. Several even told me I was just bad. It is good to see a show that says, "Hey, not all people are actually as they seem. Sometimes they just need a helping hand to be on the right path." Though I actually never did anything bad, my family just saw me that way. I use to like Unicorn Twilight Sparkles. She was much like me almost. I connected with her. After she became an Alicorn, she changed to much. My favorite now is Rarity. How is MLP fandom different from the rest? Well, first off, it was made to target little girls. So it seems odd that adults, especially adult males, like the show. So several people think it is weird or there is something wrong with the person who likes it. I know at first I was trying to keep it hidden that I had turned into a bronie. But latter I did not care. More shows now a days needs to have the strong morals that this show teaches. So many now a days only show stupidity or stuff that would get us arrested if attempted to copy. Yet that is what is popular I hate to say. Though I refuse to watch them. Also, if you look at other things and fans. The intended target audiences are not always the ones that become fans. For example; I like pokemon. Been playing pokemon since generation one. Bought my copy the second day it hit the shelf. Back then I was the targeted audience. Though I still am a fan. That is fine because the ones I see waiting in line for the current releases are adults and young adults. Very few kids any more buying pokemon. Instead I see all the eight and nine year olds in the store having their parents buy Call of Duty. That has mature graphics. So not all things hits what is intended to target. My Little Pony has actually hit all of the ages to some degree. It is not huge like other things are, but still has a decent amount to support them making more seasons. Bonus: A fun fact about why I love the show. Growing up in a trouble house hold and being the target of bullies through out grade school and junior high. I developed severe depression. Was on and off medication and in and out of hospitals for years. Nothing was working to lessen it. Medication only made it worse. And yes I was very bad off and thought of ending my life on a daily basis. I never killed myself because I made a promise not to. I was always loosing jobs because of it. Almost lost my current job too. I lived with the depression for fifteen years. But I started to watch the show every evening after work before I went to bed. After a while, I had started to laugh at some things from the show. I never really laughed in years. Watched more and a smile was finally seen on my lips after ten years. About mid way through my third watching of the show, I had realized my depression was cured. These happy-go-lucky pastel ponies had made me happy after fifteen years. Medicine and hospitals all failed or made it worse. But this show somehow did what doctors could not. So I now am open to telling others that I am a bronie. I cured me, so what is wrong with watching it. You are welcome to send me a PM if you want to hear more.

@Dark Horse @Raven Rawne Peony was spooked at every little noise she heard walking through a street she had no clue about. Several whistles and calls got her even more on edge. She simple kept close to Saffron as she could. Once they entered the tavern inn, her nose was the most assaulted. The smells and aromas she never once smelled in upper Canterlot. "I pray we might find a guide here dear. I am so nervous hear'n all this commotion without any sight." Saffron sat her down at a cleanish table before he left her to start asking around. After a few moments, a few of the patrons started to take more of an interest in the blindfolded mare in rich attire. A few stallions made their way over to sit down or stand next to the helpless mare. "Hey purty. Might I offer you a drink?" One of the stallions spoke up. "Oh umm, Pardon me gents. My companion and myself, we seek the aid of a guide to the Everfree forest." The group was quickly understood to not be there to offer assistance to her. By the time Saffron noticed the group with the mare, They were getting pushy to get her to go with them. As he tried to twist and weave his way to her, a mare actually stepped in to silence the trouble makers. -
private Order of the Flower [Nightmare Season and Raven Rawne]
Nightmare Season replied to Nightmare Season's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Raven Rawne Peony was happy about the string to tie her hair and mane up with. The wind once again blew her flowers out that was used to hold her hair up off the ground. As Natural was showing her the new route, Peony was tying her mane and tail up. Though her style was the worst That Natural has seen this whole trip. After Natural stored the map they headed for the train station. The trip this time was far easier. The farther they got away from the gorge, the less wind that was pounding them. The wind all but died by the time they entered the rocky terrain. There was a path it seemed placed there a long time ago. So pulling the wagon was not to difficult for the nature loving pony. Peony simply followed behind the wagon not really talking. When the train tracks at the foot of the mountain came into view, the sun was getting low and night fast approaching. Natural found a nice area among an outcropping of rocks to pull into. The dinner was what was left among the left over provisions. Though Peony seemed to be getting use to adequate meals. Natural spent some time before the sun fully set to gather logs for future fires and try and find some food. Peony decided to turn in early. During the middle of the night Peony woke up from yet another nightmare about the pony pursuing them. Peony looked over to her companion and saw she was still asleep. Peony quietly left the wagon to regain her composer. For several hours she just looked out across the mountains and down at the train station. Sleep would not find her again this night. Sometime before the first hint of light, Peony saw the train pull into the station. "My stars. At least one thing is look'n up for us. NATURAL! HEY Natural. Wake up, come look at this love. The train." The mare came out of the wagon rubbing her eyes. "Think we might make it down in time to get a ride?" The two mares, as fast as they could, packed up the wagon and started down the path. Half way down, Peony froze in front of Natural causing her to stop. Her coat went almost white. As Natural looked around her, she saw just what made her freeze. Richly Fabulous. He had just gotten off the train and his wagon from the jungle was unloaded. He and his goons were headed for Griffonstone. Natural had to push Peony into some bushes so as to not be seen. When the wagon was finally out of sight, did Natural return to the road. Peony came out shaking like a leaf in autumn winds. The two mares did manage to get to the train before it departed. As Natural was overseeing the loading of her wagon, Peony was at the counter purchasing their tickets. Two for Grittish Isles. Though she had bought the tickets to the Crystal Empire with a stop in the isles. Hoping it would throw him off once he found out she boarded this train. The first class coach was a welcome sight for both mares. They had the whole section at the back of the train to themselves. With real beds. It would take a couple of days to get to the isles. -
private Order of the Flower [Nightmare Season and Raven Rawne]

@Raven Rawne The flower spoke up at Natural's frustration of Peony falling asleep. "I do apologize, I was asleep. As for Miss Peony. She will wake with the dawn. Sadly till then nothing we do may wake her." After Natural lugged Peony to her bed. The flower thanked her before she disappeared with her pipe. As Natural was finishing up her pipe weed, she could hear a commotion inside the wagon. After getting the door open, she saw Peony was once again in a deep nightmare being chased by Richly. Try as she might, Peony did not wake up. "Sorry Peony. There is no way we can help you to wake up. You must dream that till dawn." In fact, Peony tossed and turned all night making poor Natural sleep out under the stars that night. The next morning as soon as Natural started to wake, she heard the door opened and looked at Peony coming out. And by the looks of her, She had gotten in a fight with a predator and almost lost. "Morning dear........I don't think I will be sleep'n any time soon I fear. I look simply dreadful and awful." Her first stop was the stream to try and untangle her mane and tail. Even having Natural hear a grumbling stomach which alerted her companion to fix up food. Peony did after all Skip several meals yesterday from the sleep spell. After the two ate up, Peony went and collected her gardening supplies to dig up a flower. Using her magic made the job relatively easy. And a shield spell on the flower made sure the pollen would not get to either pony again. Peony was very quiet during this time, like she was either embarrassed she had fallen asleep like that, or because she had to suffer through a nightmare that long. The trip out of the valley was far easier than coming in. The wind was now pushing the wagon along so Natural had less struggles pulling it. Getting it up the small trail to the top was a bit harder. Peony even gave a hoof to help push it up. Once to the top, Natural pulled out her map and found there was a shorter route to the train station just North of Griffenstone they could traverse without going through the mountain pass again. -
@Raven Rawne I am about the same way. I think after this flower we can head to the train station and head to Grittish Isles for the next flower. On the way there Richly Fabulous just misses us heading to the valley. As for obstacles, just throw them in whenever. I feel that Richly is better suited to latter find out about the Eternal Bloom and how it can give eternal life and then will try and get it before Peony to use and to use it as a means to get Peony to marry him. The organization that protects the flower can be somepony else.

@Raven Rawne Peony woke up the next morning and looked around. Natural had already seemed to be up and about. To Peony, she felt like she did not sleep at all last night. Vivid dreams kept coming to her and kept her from a good rest. She laid in her bed for some time till Flower spoke to her. "Yes yes deary. I am alright, Just a frightful dream is all." Responding back to the flower, she finally raised up. Her mane was suffering a bad case of bed head. Before she left to look for Natural, she made sure to give her mane and tail a good brushing before stepping outside looking like -that-. As soon as she opened the door and stepped out, Natural had greeted her with pipe. "Morning love. And no, I fear that I had a rough sleep." As Natural started to get some food prepared, Peony went around the valley and magically picked a few of the local flowers. She needed to get her extremely long mane and tail under control. The walk was even worse than before. Peony kept Flower inside safe from the blowing winds and her mane and tail did not stay long in the fashion she did it in. The flowers she used to tie it up with was gone within the first hour. Now her mane and tail was blowing every direction freely. Thankfully the next hour found them nearing the location of the flowers. As soon as Peony saw the flowers, she ran past Natural straight the the flowers. "We did it love. We found the flowers." Peony called out as she ran right into the middle of the patch. Natural heard Flower scream out. "Stay out of them They are not safe." Though sadly it was too late. Peony with one sniff of them closed her eyes and collapsed in the middle of the flowers. She had fallen instantly to sleep. "Silly pony. Those flowers puts things to sleep with their pollen. Natural, Might you pull her out of there please? Remember not to smell them at all." -
private Order of the Flower [Nightmare Season and Raven Rawne]
Nightmare Season replied to Nightmare Season's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Raven Rawne Peony was all too happy to back away from the edge of the cliff at a crawl. Once she could no longer see the bottom did she finally stand back up. The wind was howling over the valley like a storm was approaching. Yet no clouds were on the horizon yet. Natural called a lunch break inside the wagon to allow the wind to die down, but it did not. Peony decided to leave Flower inside of the wagon with the wind blowing so hard. As the two started to follow what was left of some trail, Peony walked along side the wagon to avoid the wind. Sadly, no matter where she was, the wind seemed to find her and blow her mane and tail loose. Peony noticed after two hours of the strong wind, She had lost all but a couple of her hair tied flowers. She cried but stayed out of sight of her companion till she got hold of herself again. Another hour saw the last two gone and her extremely long mane and tail were blowing freely everywhere. Sometimes even in her line of sight and she bumped into the wagon's side a couple of times. When Natural finally came to a stop, she was looking at an overpass to the other side where the road cut into the cliff side going down into the valley. "Do you think it's safe love?" Peony asked before Natural went to test the strength. The two managed to secure the wagon and get over it. Then the two started to head down. Peony took the rear with a rope to the wagon to help hold it off of Natural. Though all she could see was the edge of the path and the long way down. The wind was still ripping her mane and tail every-which-way and was freaking Peony out even more of not being able to see the edge to well. By the time the two reach the bottom, Peony's nerves were all but shot. Natural saw the stream and announced a bath and camp. When Natural finally looked back, Peony was on the ground rolled up in a ball. At first, Natural thought she was some kind of fluffy creature because all she saw was fluff of mane and tail and not the pony it belong too. When Natural brushed hair out of Peony's Face, she could clearly see how shaken up she was by the tears in her eyes. After Peony settled down some. Natural escorted her to the stream for a well deserved bath. Her tail dragging along the ground needed it the most. Before Peony got in however, she went to her bag in the wagon and brought back a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. "I think you deserve a treatment of my fabulous flower shampoo love. Made it myself from my flower bed back home." Peony then joined Natural in the stream. The water was cool, clean and refreshing. Natural also enjoyed the fragrance of the flowers in the shampoo she was offered to use. Peony once again stayed in longer to really clean herself up. By the time Peony got out, Natural had the cooking going. Afterwards the two of them went to bed. Sometime in the middle of the night, Natural woke up with Peony tossing and turning next to her screaming. She immediately woke Peony up to find out what happened. Peony jumped awake screaming..."STAY AWAY RICHLY!" She then looked around and came to her senses. "Oh dear....I am truly sorry love. I was having a nightmare." -

@Raven Rawne Peony sat back from her feeble attempt at fire making and watched Natural show her how it was done. When she did it, it looked so easy. "I do say I am positively useless out here." Peony was happy that Natural did not look down on her, but instead tried to cheer her up. As Natural cooked a meal, Peony found herself gazing up at the stars in the sky. So much she had never seen before. As she gazed, the thought of Richly Fabulous came back into her mind. She was pony napped and it had just donned on her. What else could he be capable of. He wanted her hoof in marriage and showed how much he would do to get it. When Peony finally came back to her senses, she noticed her companion had fallen asleep gazing at the stars. "Oh my stars. How long I wonder I was in thought?" She whispered to herself as she too went to lay down for the night. Morning came with Peony being woken up by Natural. It was much latter than she had planned on waking up. Looking at the camp, Natural had already packed up everything except for Peony's bed roll. "Oh sorry love. I did not plan to sleep for that long." After a quick breakfast Natural had saved for Peony, the two set off across the plateau. Somewhere at the edge they were told was the valley with the mystical flower they sought. By midday, the two mares came to a cliff cutting away the plateau. Natural was the first to look down at the valley. Peony had to gather up some courage to look down it. Natural saw that her company was a slight bit afraid of heights. "Oh My Stars!" Peony said as she looked down right before she went down to her knees to place her slightly closer to the ground. It did not take Peony long before she called out and pointed to a patch of flowers all the way down by a stream. "There it is deary. The Somnambular Bloom. Our first flower is now in sight, but prey, How might we manage to climb down there?" -
Woot! Looks like clear skis ahead. Hopefully no more stress for a few months.
