I wrote something about Trotsky and Lenin in my history class, it is the following.
Sometime, in 1922, after the end of the Russian Civil War, Leon Trotsky marches up to a podium, in front of a roaring crowd of peasants, starving peasants, peasants filled with communistic zeal and roaring in approval of Trotsky and Lenin, as well as the bolshevik party. Leon Trotsky looks across the roaring crowd, filled with a feeling of intense passion and conviction in his belief for the world revolution. With his right hand raised, the crowd calms down though a few whistles and cheers from the peasants the cold Russian air, and thus he begins his speech, “We have utterly crushed the white army today, they have been utterly defeated by our red army!” he shouted, raising his hands in the air to emphasize the point whilst having a writhing tone that makes the crowd go wild, then he continues, “We have given land back to the people, from the greedy tsar! The tsar has died, and along with it, the old ways, we will now transition to a grand union, a union of all, a Union of Soviet Socialist Republics! All hail the bolsheviks!” he shouted loudly, his voice echoing in the air as the crowd cheered and looked up towards Leon Trotsky as he spoke.
Red flags were flying on flagpoles in the background, the sun partially obscured by clouds illuminated a golden hammer and sickle on the top left corner of the flag, the hammer symbolizing the industrialists and the sickle symbolizing the agriculturalists. Leon gestured towards the flag as it flew high over the crowd, high like the peasant’s pride and admiration for the Bolshevik forces. “The nobles have been eliminated from power, and their power now flows through ALL of us at it should, and as it is now! The war the tsar brought us into is no more, and we will now rebuild our infrastructure, and begin a purge of all supporters of the tsar, however the revolution will not stop here, nothing will quench the flame in our hearts, the flame of our conviction, and it will ignite the entire world, we will free the entire world from the chains of capitalism and purge the world from the utterly barbaric systems of imperialism and our crimson red flag will ever inspire and will forever endure!” the people cheered loudly as he rose his left hand with a slight grin and stepped down from the podium. The cheers of the peasants shaking the very core of his being. It was invigorating. Vladimir Lenin was the savior of the Russian people, and Vladimir Lenin had lead Russia into a new age, he was the hero of the Russian People, some sacrifices had to be made.
