He is arrogant.. egotistical... like Trixie, but worse and destructive.

He comes from another universe, as he was banished into the sun by Nightmare Star. He became possessed by the Alicorn Amulet, or something like there of in this other universe, before that he was a regular pegasus guard, nothing special except his colors, his colors used to be like Sunset Shimmer, his mane style was like a male Sunset.  His cutie mark is a sword behind a crimson red sun.

When he was on the sun, he was in unbelievable amounts of pain and suffering, about 10-15 whole years to be exact, when he managed to get free, his body was scorched, his flesh was burnt, charred to a crisp, and he attempted to heal himself, with somewhat of a good result, he still has burn marks and stuff all over, and his mane looks like fire. After all this time on the sun, he developed some sort of horn which is yellow, translucent and long, but he is limited to only using Solar related magic, such as heliobeams, firewalls and that sort of thing. He is a pegasus / something and NOT an Alicorn.

Well, I have to say, for one, he doesn't seem at all like Trixie. Unless, maybe you mean those two nearly synonymous traits at the start of it.

  Keep in mind though, I don't want to judge. I for one hate being judged. Just, you know, first thoughts. They don't entirely mean anything of their own.

  If I can be honest & ask, you trying to make him intimidating? Not that you're failing in that regard, I just have to wonder. Of the two mares/cannonical characters I know you seem to like, they seem nearly the opposite of the type of character you seem to lean towards.

  Kind of funny that, seems like the place he was banished to only made him stronger!

   Oh, tell you what. If you ever want a full rundown, like, I mean paragraphs long, I made a review thread a long while ago that hasn't seen anything new in months. Widdershins's Aestheteria, I think I called it. If a thread name helps find it anymore... or if I even spelled that right...

Yea
