      I think they tend to be in the blue, pink, or violet hues if memory serves me.

      Personally, I would think in terms of the colors common in Quartz. Stuff like Amethyst (purple), Carnelian and Jasper (reddish-orange to reddish-brown), Citrine (yellow), Blue Quartz (blue), Pink Quartz (pink), etc. They might even use gem names for the colors themselves, just because. :)
