      Delete in bulk. Make an adventure out of it. That way you can go through everything and keep what you want... it may take a long time, but you let them get out of control. :derp:  I always keep my messages nice and trimmed. :D

      You should have checkboxes on the messages, and you can just check the ones you don't want, and then delete them all in one lump. I do it every so often
