I have a vague idea for a new character, so there's this boy at some point. He lived a normal life, until some form of accident happened and his soul was separated from his body. His family thought he was dead, and nobody was able to see his ghost and so he began to hate humanity for other reasons before learning how to manipulate darkness before taking the form of a dark angel during flight, a shadowy misty octopus when on the ground. Eventually he tries to take revenge on humanity by doing horrible things, before getting exiled to Mars, vowing revenge. He also wants a body.

One of my dreams involved such a thing.
I had a dream where there was a gateway in a dark void in space. Like a stargate, with a purple 'pool' in it as the portal. Caused by the interactions of rogue gas giant planets in the area. It lead to earth, in different time periods. Past, and future. In the past earth's sky was a purple color, and the landmasses were barren and brown. Devoid of life, this was around the time period life was forming in the oceans of earth and before the atmosphere became filled with Oxygen. In the future Earth was a hot hell world similar to venus, it's sky was glowing with fire and heat. Around the time of the death of our sun.
Every few seconds the view would change to different time periods on Earth.

And it would be so interesting to see what the world was (or will be) like in various eras.
I don't know why, but it would be interesting in a way to see the end of the world... Of course it would be terrible to have that happen, but somehow interesting (hard to explain).
