It's better not to focus on that – the most important thing is that you're having fun! And the people who have won the most would tell you it doesn't feel that special for long. I can say for myself that the second win wasn't anywhere near as big a thing for me as the first one.

I would say it mostly measures activity (especially in certain areas of the website) rather than anything else... I've stopped looking at the leaderboards myself, except once when the day is over. It's too easy to get distracted by them, posting on the forum should be fun rather than a competition!

I think you are quite active, and you did make it to #3 a couple of weeks ago.

And I wouldn't mind if it was removed, to be honest... I can say finding out about the leaderboard (months after I joined) didn't really improve the forum experience for me. It became something I looked at whenever I was bored, sometimes looking several times an hour where I ranked... the first day I won was the worst in that regard!
