  1. @Princess Silky @Cagey @Sycofear13 @Sophie H. Magloria made no verbal reply. She would drop to the ground quickly and roll away from the fumes - with her magic, she'd drag him away from the area the fumes were as rapidly as possible. Once he was close - her horn flashed blue and a blue magic barrier would come into existence around the two - protecting the two from the other ponies. It is possible that Frostbite inhaled some of the fumes as well as she - but she didn't know just yet. Magloria had the gems - not Frostbite, so Cali wouldn't have been able to take them. Magloria looked to him, making sure the gems were secure inside of her bags. "We are outnumbered. Let's get out of here. If these gems are what they claim to be - we cannot risk Changelings getting them. For all we know those ponies are all Changelings." Magloria hissed in rage, and aimed to pull Frostbite away from the scene. Silky and the others could clearly see how protective she was being of Frostbite. Magloria would look to Silky's direction. "Show me you aren't a changeling! Draw blood! Prove it NOW!" Magloria shouted, a vein being visible on her neck. "You better have a way to reverse what you've done, if you are who claim to be!" she added, referencing Frostbite.
  2. @Sophie H. @Cagey @Princess Silky @Silverspark184 Magloria's eyes would widen slightly at the revelation that the cloaked pony was her own daughter - just that she was disguised. Magloria looked to Silky, her eyes softening slightly before narrowing again. She'd pull out her rapier. "There is one thing I forgot about Changelings until now. They can change shape and disguise - but the one thing they can never change? The color of their blood." Magloria spoke as she focused on Sophie. "If you have any doubts as to who I am..." Magloria would say, as she gently cut her front hoof a little bit. A small bit of redness appeared on the surface of the cut - it was a tiny tiny cut, but enough for them to see that she wasn't a changeling. "They are gone now." she would say, and straighten up. Her horn glowed softly as a bit of ice formed over the tiny tiny cut - sealing it up, but it was visible for them all to see still, that she indeed, was not a changeling. "Star Silk." Magloria spoke, her words cutting through the air like glass. "I will give you my gem on ONE condition. You tell me exactly why you've been avoiding me. I came here searching for you. You constantly get into trouble when you leave my sights. Now you are to tell me that you've been here for all this time, while Queen Chrysalis is dangerously lurking here?" her eyes narrowed more as she huffed. "I haven't seen you in a long time. Abandoning me...and then hiding from me, to boot! Hmph." she straightened up, her face bearing a look of disappointment. Magloria looked to Frostbite with a look of complete agreement. "After you prove to us that you aren't Changelings. For all I know, there could be changelings among you. Waiting, manipulating, waiting for the right time to strike! If we are to defeat the Changelings for good, we must first know that those among you aren't Changelings! Then we arm ourselves, put those gems in whatever that..." she pointed to the door, but she was still highly sceptical and suspicious of the whole affair.
  3. @Princess Silky @Cagey Magloria gives Silky a suspicious look and then looks to Frostbite. "I don't trust any of this here at all. But I have a question." Magloria would say to Frostbite, and take a few steps towards Silky - her eyes looking towards the suspicious cloaked pony. "Even if we know who she is - there is no way to tell her apart from a Changeling." she huffed slightly, and would walk up towards Silky. Though Silky would notice that Magloria didn't walk too far away from Frostbite - indicating that she trusted him to back her up in case there was a changeling attack here. Magloria didn't remove the gems from her bag and looked to Silky intently. "Who even are you anyway? Why should we trust your word? If we knew another way out - we'd have left as soon as we found it." Magloria stated - her eyes narrowing in suspicion.
  4. @Rikifive I use the browser called Vivaldi and it seems to be working just fine. When I tried putting the code in initially, it caused my browser to randomly close itself and it took multiple attempts to get it in without the browser closing out.
  5. Welcome to the forums! Hope you enjoy your stay!
  6. @Princess Silky @Cagey Magloria would look into Silky's eyes deeply, not able to see her face. She didn't move - she was silent as she processed her words. At the end of it all, Magloria would look up - and then back. Wondering how she even found herself here. "I don't know who you are - or what you want from us. I don't care about the gems." Magloria said in a neutral, dry tone. "For all I know - you are Chrysalis herself, manipulating the ponies here so you can harvest their emotions for yourself. If this is the case, I'd be a fool to sign over these gems to complete to process when you have given me nothing of substance for me to trust you. It seems very convenient for there to be such an "Escape" right under the noses of the Changelings, as if it's a deception they themselves designed so one of their own could infiltrate the captured ponies and lead them all here." she would then step back, mistrusting of the cloaked pony who was speaking to her. "How many times has your world walked out on you after broken promise after broken promise, and how have you felt then about trying again?" Magloria would suddenly ask.
  7. Discord would have likely been turned to stone again - but I think he'd always find some way to cheat life and death. He is chaos itself, anyway.
  8. @Rikifive I am testing it out now, it looks great! I have an idea though - do you think you could also make a Nightmare Moon theme? Like make it look more Nightmare Moon-ish? You could maybe change the pink-ish color to more of a dark blue, sort of like Nightmare Moon? But I love this! It's much better than the original dark mode theme!
  9. You literally read my mind with this. The world sucks right now, and I don't care about youtuber drama or video game drama...I care about actual problems that affect actual human lives. If everythings controversial, that shows that society is not capable of dealing with actual controversy when it strikes. When it does, people don't seem to care. No wonder why the world sucks right now. At least thats just one of the many reasons.
  10. @Princess Silky @Cagey Magloria would follow Frostbite, until the two would look at the scene from a distance. Magloria's eyes narrowed in a suspicious manner. "It seems like she wants us to put our gems into whatever that door is." she said, looking down at their gems that she was holding. "If this is truly some sort of magic door, it won't work without our gems. But I'm not about to walk up there and give those ponies our gems. For all I know, that pony is a changeling trying to harvest our emotions." Magloria said in a highly distrustful tone, not knowing that the pony that just ran by was her own daughter. She would wearily approach, putting the gems in her saddlebag so that they wouldn't be stolen. "There are fillies here. I don't want there to be a bloodbath here, we could be surrounded by changelings and that one with the green necklace could be Chrysalis herself playing some sick twisted mind game on us." Magloria said, her tone brimming with suspicion. She wasn't close enough to see that it was Silky. For now, she remained observant.
  11. @Blitz Boom @Illiad Easle Spiral would sigh and shut her eyes - as if she was feeling pain from that memory she viewed through the telekinetic spell. She'd observe how Aurum would fall unconscious. Evidently completely overwhelmed by her emotions. Spiral would walk forward and watch how Briar would lift her up gently, and put her somewhere she could rest. Spiral would look to Briar and Last as they spoke about what happened. "Terrible memory she showed me. The Empress, her mother wanted to abuse her to hold all the power of those deceased unicorns. She was forced to do that..." Spiral sighed, a look of hate coming across her face for a second as she looked away. Spiral didn't like those who hurt foals.
  12. I did like the scene with Pipp and Sparky, but the rest of the episode? Nah, hard pass. It's a trope over-done to death. Sparky, as a character, is my least favourite thing in TYT so far.
  13. A bit annoyed. My Braun Series 7 shaver appears to be having issues. I hope I can get it to last as long as possible. I got it in late 2021, and have replaced the blades twice. This time it appears that the battery is having issues.
  14. @Blitz Boom Spectra would look over to him. She was quite deep into the reading of the book, and had amassed various knowledge that Mindstorm had worked on. Mostly relating to anatomy and various types of alchemy. It could potentially be useful for later on. Now she had been reading here for a few hours. It was finally good to get a few hours to herself and read. All the conversation was distracting to say the least. Spectra much preferred to be alone in her thoughts. Alone she gets the job done. Nobody to slow her down. Nobody to question her. As soon as she heard him talking, she would sigh as she flipped the book closed. "Excellent observations. As she learns, it is paramount that she cast those spells onto me so that I may learn as she learns. Mindstorm kept her around. If only to torture her, but it is clear he saw use within her. The information in this book is intriguing." she spoke, turning to only half face towards his direction. She knew that she was in complete control here - and didn't even afford him a straight forward look. "Veil is more useful than I thought. You have my permission to continue training her as you see fit. She has much to learn. So much potential to give me..." she spoke, smirking in a curtly manner. Upon Operata unveiling the map, Spectra would face him and walk up to the map. She'd look down and examine the map closely as she listened to him speaking. "Clutch town. That is one place I have never visited. I have always known, that for centuries, that place has been a thorn in the side of various nations - but nobody has ever seriously considered invading it. It would be too much of a hassle. Occupying forces would have to constantly hold it down, and that's not even touching the level of black market dealings there..." she smirked, scratching her chin. "We shall go there. I have a small hidden lair in the caves...two days travel away from it. That's the closest area I have to that place." Spectra would speak, running her hoof over to the map and pointing towards a mountain range that was closer to Kludgetown than any other mountain range. It seemed Spectra preferred putting her bases in Mountains. Dangerous, hard to access, and out of the way of any would be searchers. "We will travel to Kludgetown, from there. I will get packing." she spoke, and then remembered the food. Almost awkwardly, she would proceed to eat. It was decent. Better than military rations. It was good. "As for Veil - I will put her in an orb to keep her contained. Unlike the others, I'll be letting her free when time is permitting. Veil is an interesting project. But this...Clutch-Town is of higher priority. Non-Pony magic is rare to come by in Equestria, let alone capturing a powerful non-pony species." she spoke, it was more of an order if anything.
  15. @Cagey Magloria just stood there like a statue. She thought about her daughter. Where was she? Magloria had to find out - but she couldn't. At least not yet. Magloria just simply stood there, as if waiting for something to happen. Frostbite had grown on her. A lot.
  16. @Catpone Cerberus Sombra nodded. He growled at his inability to see that. "What I did to myself - to get this far, I sacrificed my sanity. Being banished for a thousand years - makes me slow to think about things..." he hissed in rage, it was more so directly at Celestia and Luna rather than anyone else. "So what is it that you propose? Finding allies is an obvious yes...but what allies?" he asked, sighing.
  17. Evil is a subjective term. But ponies are creatures with free will. Just like us. So the answer is yes.
  18. @Cagey Magloria observed the far wall and saw how everything was all enclosed. The situation made her disgusted - but she kept her emotions under control. She knew that Changelings feed on emotions - so what if the key to defeating the Changelings was to simply feel nothing? She was good at that. It got her through her life so far, so why not now? Magloria looked to him, her eyes moving to look over at him, Her eyes were deep and cold. Much like an arctic ocean. If he looked closely, he could see the reflection of their environment on her gray-blue eyes. "Those insects feed off of emotion. Trying to get us all in here so we could fight each other so they can feed off of it like the parasites they are. I suggest we play the waiting game. Keep contact with other ponies minimal." she spoke calmly. Magloria would examine their prison. "The Changelings will obviously keep us alive. A dead pony means no emotion to drain off from." she added, her eyes narrowing slightly.
  19. @Blitz Boom @Illiad Easle Spiral would allow Briar and Last to explain what an alicorn was to Aurum. While she wanted to do that herself - they had gotten to it first, and she saw no reason to stand in their way of providing a just explanation. "Yes, all of that is correct. Good explanation. The drive of Equestrians to worship alicorns and accept them as leaders is a powerful one. It leads some to act irrationally, to the point where it puts the lives of others into danger. Now there are no more alicorns - except you, Aurum. Celestia and Luna lost their lives, and our way of life was completely destroyed by a powerful being of Chaos, known as discord, years ago..."
  20. Starlight would definitely defeat Luna. She almost defeated Twilight anyway, and was only stopped because Twilight talked her down.
  21. @Catpone Cerberus My view on the lore of the world here is more or less that the Crystal Ponies are a separate race (completely) from the 3 main tribes themselves. It is for that reason, I refer to them as "Crystal Ponies". The Crystal Empire itself, in my interpretation of it is that the Capital City that we saw in the canon universe is merely just the capital, and that it is a smaller nation in comparison to that of Equestria. This nation was entirely unique and independent from that of the Equestrian identity. This lasted for thousands of years, and it's origins are shrouded in myth. The former ruling monarchs went against that tradition for selfish political power which was hidden behind "Good" intentions. There was a civil war in the Crystal Empire, in which Sombra and his forces overthrew them with force. This was a relatively violent affair that happened rather rapidly, then soon after this civil war - the Equestrians had already made a pre-emptive invasion into the Empire itself for geopolitical reasons, and to establish an allied Monarchy that could be incorporated into Equestria at some point in the future. Sombra's forces were numerically outnumbered and unprepared to fight a war against the Equestrians, and he was overthrown - but not before he banished the Empire. After his return, he attempted to assert control once more, and due to the chaos involved, as well as the Mane 6, he was defeated - and Cadence and Shining Armor were appointed as the ruling monarchs by the Equestrian Monarchy itself, essentially vassalizing the Crystal Empire.
  22. @Catpone Cerberus "I am not a regular Unicorn. I am a Hybrid between an Umbrum and a Crystal Pony. Originally I was entirely a Crystal Unicorn. I was in the military, but before that, I was first and foremost a scientist. When I discovered what the Umbrum were, I knew it was my destiny to seek more than simple discovery - and I became a part of their kind when they accepted me as their leader." he spoke. "Crystal Ponies have always been a separate group from that of the Equestrians. There are the three races as you know them, though most are Crystal Earth Ponies. Pegasi are the rarest ones. I never knew why this was, it was far before my time, if not, thousands of years, when the Crystal Empire was originally founded." he spoke. "The founding of the Crystal Empire is shrouded in myth and legend. The Crystal Ponies themselves are entirely different than that of the 3 Ancient Earth Pony tribes, that much is certain. Throughout all of history, the Crystal Empire has existed as an independent force from that of Equestria. They stayed neutral in all the affairs in Equestria, and their formation." his eyes narrowed, and gave Una a look of pure hatred. "Until the former King and Queen of the Crystal Empire broke this tradition of Neutrality, and aimed to incorporate themselves into Equestrian royalty, a move that would make the Crystal Empire no longer an independent entity - but an entirely subservient Vassal State. It is then, that I began my rebellion. I overthrew the traitors, and established myself as the Rightful King. Many joined me willingly, others did not - hence I was forced to use unethical methods, because before I could consider any other option, the Equestrians themselves had already begun an invasion, and slaughtering my soldiers. The Unicorns, the Equestrian Unicorns, have always held political power. This is one thing that has never changed." he stated, his aura of hatred intensifying. "Since my previous defeat, they put false rulers in my rightful throne. Cadence and Shining Armor. As vassal rulers. Both of them - having not a lick of heritage on the land they claim to rule..."
  23. @Cagey Magloria contained herself and immediately straightened herself up as if nothing happened. She tucked the gems into her bag as she walked forward, not giving the other ponies another glance as she walked with him - away.
  24. @Cagey Magloria grabbed the two gems and looked at them in her hooves. It reminded her of something - and she looked away from him, a small tear going down her eye. Something she didn't want him to see.
  25. Magloria noticed both of the gems and walked up to him, looking at his Gems intently.
