  1. @Blitz Boom @Illiad Easle Spiral would allow Briar and Last to explain what an alicorn was to Aurum. While she wanted to do that herself - they had gotten to it first, and she saw no reason to stand in their way of providing a just explanation. "Yes, all of that is correct. Good explanation. The drive of Equestrians to worship alicorns and accept them as leaders is a powerful one. It leads some to act irrationally, to the point where it puts the lives of others into danger. Now there are no more alicorns - except you, Aurum. Celestia and Luna lost their lives, and our way of life was completely destroyed by a powerful being of Chaos, known as discord, years ago..."
  2. Starlight would definitely defeat Luna. She almost defeated Twilight anyway, and was only stopped because Twilight talked her down.
  3. @Catpone Cerberus My view on the lore of the world here is more or less that the Crystal Ponies are a separate race (completely) from the 3 main tribes themselves. It is for that reason, I refer to them as "Crystal Ponies". The Crystal Empire itself, in my interpretation of it is that the Capital City that we saw in the canon universe is merely just the capital, and that it is a smaller nation in comparison to that of Equestria. This nation was entirely unique and independent from that of the Equestrian identity. This lasted for thousands of years, and it's origins are shrouded in myth. The former ruling monarchs went against that tradition for selfish political power which was hidden behind "Good" intentions. There was a civil war in the Crystal Empire, in which Sombra and his forces overthrew them with force. This was a relatively violent affair that happened rather rapidly, then soon after this civil war - the Equestrians had already made a pre-emptive invasion into the Empire itself for geopolitical reasons, and to establish an allied Monarchy that could be incorporated into Equestria at some point in the future. Sombra's forces were numerically outnumbered and unprepared to fight a war against the Equestrians, and he was overthrown - but not before he banished the Empire. After his return, he attempted to assert control once more, and due to the chaos involved, as well as the Mane 6, he was defeated - and Cadence and Shining Armor were appointed as the ruling monarchs by the Equestrian Monarchy itself, essentially vassalizing the Crystal Empire.
  4. @Catpone Cerberus "I am not a regular Unicorn. I am a Hybrid between an Umbrum and a Crystal Pony. Originally I was entirely a Crystal Unicorn. I was in the military, but before that, I was first and foremost a scientist. When I discovered what the Umbrum were, I knew it was my destiny to seek more than simple discovery - and I became a part of their kind when they accepted me as their leader." he spoke. "Crystal Ponies have always been a separate group from that of the Equestrians. There are the three races as you know them, though most are Crystal Earth Ponies. Pegasi are the rarest ones. I never knew why this was, it was far before my time, if not, thousands of years, when the Crystal Empire was originally founded." he spoke. "The founding of the Crystal Empire is shrouded in myth and legend. The Crystal Ponies themselves are entirely different than that of the 3 Ancient Earth Pony tribes, that much is certain. Throughout all of history, the Crystal Empire has existed as an independent force from that of Equestria. They stayed neutral in all the affairs in Equestria, and their formation." his eyes narrowed, and gave Una a look of pure hatred. "Until the former King and Queen of the Crystal Empire broke this tradition of Neutrality, and aimed to incorporate themselves into Equestrian royalty, a move that would make the Crystal Empire no longer an independent entity - but an entirely subservient Vassal State. It is then, that I began my rebellion. I overthrew the traitors, and established myself as the Rightful King. Many joined me willingly, others did not - hence I was forced to use unethical methods, because before I could consider any other option, the Equestrians themselves had already begun an invasion, and slaughtering my soldiers. The Unicorns, the Equestrian Unicorns, have always held political power. This is one thing that has never changed." he stated, his aura of hatred intensifying. "Since my previous defeat, they put false rulers in my rightful throne. Cadence and Shining Armor. As vassal rulers. Both of them - having not a lick of heritage on the land they claim to rule..."
  5. @Cagey Magloria contained herself and immediately straightened herself up as if nothing happened. She tucked the gems into her bag as she walked forward, not giving the other ponies another glance as she walked with him - away.
  6. @Cagey Magloria grabbed the two gems and looked at them in her hooves. It reminded her of something - and she looked away from him, a small tear going down her eye. Something she didn't want him to see.
  7. Magloria noticed both of the gems and walked up to him, looking at his Gems intently.
  8. @Cagey Magloria observed the fruits of Frostbite's labor without a second thought. It purely unphased her, but she stayed on guard - incase any other changelings would attack. She looked in his direction, but didn't find the words to say anything.
  9. @Cagey @Princess Silky Magloria was thankful that Frostbite showed clear combat experience - she wanted to thank him, but wasted no time in grabbing her rapier off the ground and charging at any remaining changelings in the area, with the intention of striking at them. Her magic may be spent - but her will power remains.
  10. @Princess Silky Magloria's back was indeed turned - and she was too busy watching the other changelings flying off to notice that the other changeling was flying towards her. It was a powerful spell to be sure - one that left her spent.
  11. @Princess Silky @Cagey Magloria would lay still for a moment - the shimmering would stop and she'd stand right up. She smirked wildly, a sultry - yet devious look across her face. Her eyes look directly at the changeling, staring it down. A flash of blue wiped across her glossy cold eyes. "You are about to find out." Magloria said in a casual manner as she would suddenly charge towards the Changeling - her horn erupting and lighting up like a miniature sun - shining in the exact same way that the Changeling's magic was. She moved, almost explosively. There was a bit of a stagger in her step though, indicating that she did get hurt a bit by the attack, but was pushing through. Her horn erupted suddenly in a flair of blue magic - pulsing, and surging forth like a force of nature as it formed a precise beam of energy - surging forth towards the Changeling like lightning.
  12. @Princess Silky @Cagey Magloria didn't have enough time to react - before she would be blasted back. Her sword falling out of her grasp. The large blue spell would hit her in full. There was something else though that was strange. After Magloria was hit, there was a sudden pulse of the same blue throughout her entire body. Magloria had the wind knocked out of her by the spell, and was knocked down. The same blue color that she was struck with shimmered throughout her body like an aurora. What was that? She was down, seemingly...
  13. @Princess Silky @Sycofear13 @Cagey @Sophie H. Magloria looks to the changelings and watches her ice chains break. She looks to the others. "Fight them. Now." she commands to the others, as a blue flash occurs next to her as she summons a large iceball. It was a lot larger than the chains she had used before, and she spins it around in her magic and it flattens out - before breaking into pieces and it explodes, sending a vast array of ice crystals towards the changelings. Magloria smirks cruely - as she pulls out a large weapon from...somewhere. It was a silver rapier.
  14. @Princess Silky @Cagey @Sycofear13 @Sophie H. Magloria would leap into action, firing her chains and blades towards the attacking changelings. She was clearly defending Frostbite - she stayed silent.
  15. @Sophie H. @Cagey @Sycofear13 @Princess Silky Magloria narrowed her eyes at Sophie and also walked to the door. "I'm here to find my daughter anyway. I'm not interested in "friends"..." she rolls her eyes as she turns to leave.
  16. @Sophie H. @Princess Silky @Sycofear13 @Cagey Magloria ignores the pouting of Sophie and Cali and looks at the candy - and spins it over in her magic. Her magic envelops the candy and transforms it into pure ice. Then she eats it, looking at them. "Hence why I never eat it. And neither should you." she looks to the two of them and shrugs, looking at the candies. "Whats a foal doing here, anyway?" she asked, looking at Cali.
  17. @Cagey @Sophie H. @Princess Silky @Sycofear13 Magloria saw the filly grab the candy, and she would look under the table and see the filly. She was perplexed, but would grab a piece of candy - looking at it strangely. She'd look back under the table at the filly, not sure what to say.
  18. @Princess Silky @Cagey @Sycofear13 @Sophie H. Magloria would proceed to search the room quietly, looking to Frostbite. "There's nothing here. What a shame..." she rolled her eyes. "The filth can't be far from here." she muttered, referring to Chrysalis.
  19. @Princess Silky @Cagey @Sophie H. Magloria charged in alongside him, her horn was lit up in a brilliant shade of blue that almost shined like a star. She was ready to fight if need be.
  20. @Cagey @Princess Silky Magloria decides to go to the cottage, leading frostbite towards it. It may have answers. She retracts her magical chains for now, as they didn't appear to work.
  21. @Cagey Magloria would continue trying to cut at the roots with her blades. Her horn would shoot out ice crystals up at them, and attempt to grow them into the roots themselves to break them.
  22. @Cagey A look of pure and utter rage comes across Magloria's face. Her body pulses various shades of blue as long chains would appear into existence at her sides. They were translucent and had an icey blue hue to them, even looking at them could make one shiver. At the end of the chains, there were large sharp ice blades. Looking up, without a word, her chains would burst forth towards the air - and the blades would sharpen - she was going to attempt to cut through the roots that trapped them.
  23. @Catpone Cerberus Sombra looked to her, thinking deeply. "Unicorns are the ones who have political and social power. In such a division, we would best align ourselves with the Pegasi, Earth ponies, and non-pony species. The Unicorns seem closely tied to that of the Two Sisters..." he thought to himself, wondering what Una would think.
  24. @Megas I never understood why people show spike to be rounded like that. I feel like he's more average.
  25. Happy birthday! I hope you have a good one!
