  1. Hello! Uh... it has maybe been... a couple of years since I was last here? Guess you could say I took quite the break. But no, I am back! Uh, have a new Pony now, Polar Breeze, based from the Winter and Holidays!

I honestly forgot that this place existed, but I do remember the few friends I have made around here and how much they have made me happy. Even if they are no longer around... I hope to do much better this time and just all around be active around here again.

I do not know if anyone will read this at all, but, hey, if you do, I am happy to be back!

  2. One week has passed since the start of the full-scale russian invasion in Ukraine. I’m still alive, as are my loved ones, but over 2000 of civilian Ukrainians, including over a dozen children, have been killed by those monsters.

Don’t know how often I’ll come back to this site in the near future, but I’ll try keeping in touch. I don’t have any nerve cells left to burn. I’m almost desensitized to the sounds of explosions I hear every day and, ever more often, every night. I can’t even say that I’m afraid, because it’s a background feeling now that’s always with me.

But I know that I must be strong — we all must — and do whatever I can to help others. It’s our land, our people and our freedom. We fight for them.

  3. To those I write with: I apologize that my responses are irregular now, and will be for a few days more. Sadly been dealing with a fair few panic attacks, as well as the flu, so I've been in a less than stellar state to write. I hope it will soon get better, and my schedule going back to regular, but I fear it will still be at least a few days before things have settled. :/

  4. The world is burning, I'm slowly decaying, and no one cares about either.

Anyways, I've got some news about my life.

My family, who I'm currently living with, are living in a parsonage because we got kicked out of our old house (we were in the process of leaving anyways). Unfortunately, someone else might stay in the parsonage in the distant future because they need it too, so my family is going to have to leave there as well. Problem is, we have nowhere to go, and my parents have been trying to find a house for around a year or so but can't afford one on the market right now because prices are stupidly high.

Also, as if one problem isn't enough, I still have depression, anxiety, and autism, and they have gotten much worse - again. I quit my job to go back to college and because they were overworking me to death, but I've stopped doing my classes and I'm unemployed. I'm currently going to only one doctor, a family doctor, about once a month or so.

So basically life sucks, everything is falling apart, and I'm looking forward to dying sooner rather than later.

  5. Another evening in Ukraine, another day of fighting off the invaders. We are staying strong and thank the world for support.

I still hear explosions from time to time. No sirens near me yet. Kyiv is getting ready for a new wave of attacks. The invaders are going mad, targeting residential buildings, dams, orphanages, buses and ambulances, threatening to shell power plants, and plundering the occupied territories. It’s going to be tougher before it gets better.

I once again ask you to share the charity links from my profile description wherever you can, Ukrainians appreciate every little bit of help. Thank you!

  6. Heard explosions in the distance. Before that dogs outside were howling and barking like crazy. This night in Kyiv will be tough. It’s only been two days, but it feels like eternity.

  7. I may soon leave this site and probably the Internet. Maybe forever. My country, Ukraine, is under attack. Russia is bombing our cities. My parents are at the frontline now, they've just called and said they are hearing gunfire. I know, political topics are not allowed here, but it's not politics anymore. It's life and death.

  8. Alright, here's the answer to the trivia question from Monday/Tuesday.

Going back to history here. On December 3rd, 1818, Illinois was granted statehood. What town was the capital of Illinois for a few months after it became a state?

Answer: B. Kaskaskia was the first (and defacto) capital of Illinois. It was previously the capital of the Illinois Territory in the 1800s and 1810s.

    Monday/Tuesday's Question

Going back to geography here. Illinois is not known for being hilly, but we do have some hills and the like. What is the highest point in Illinois elevation wise?

    A: Mount Auburn
    B: Blue Mound
    C: Charles Mound
    D: Starved Rock

Answer will be posted at approximately Midnight Thursday.

  9. *sigh* I don't know how to get rid of this burnout feeling... I tried drawing out since I was starting to get burnt out from gaming and now I'm burnt out from drawing. Maybe this is my depression taking another form? I'm not sure anymore. I just wanna lay down and not do anything. It's like somehow all of my motivation has been drained out of me... This is probably just a normal feeling and I'm just complaining about something that doesn't matter...

  10. I'm alive, had quite the week, thus wasn't online, will respond to things during the weekend. For now, I'll leave you all with this

Rated an F5, it's one of only two F5 tornadoes in recorded history to strike central Illinois. 17. Well I'm about to cut up some pizza for dinner, anyone wanna join me? :P

  18. Yay, stress, stress, and more stress! So my mother is stressing me out by venting to me since she isn't getting any sleep because of our noisy neighbors. Well I'm gonna have a lot to tell my therapist today when I go there at 2 PM but do you guys have any advice on how to deal with this? When she's ranting at me, I just wanna go run away or tell her to shut up or something like that. I feel so alone right now...

  22. It is really starting to hit me that I'm not getting any younger. I turn 19 this year and 20 next year. I can't believe that, but that's how life goes.

  23. I planned to be out for just one day, but even all my efforts to stay active all failed. I don't understand why I no longer find any happiness interacting with friends online. I miss the old days when I still enjoy it.
