private Nightmare's Return (1x1 with Explosionmare)
Twilight Sparkle (Universe 114A) replied to a topic in Everfree Roleplays
@ExplosionMare The guards and everyone waited. After hours of waiting, they were all standing at attention as well as they could. Given the long hours of their shifts they were easily able to do this however towards the end of it some of the guards were a bit annoyed their shifts didn't come quite yet due to the possibility of a threat. Nothing came. Twilight and Inkwell had long since calmed down by Nightmare Moon, and they had not spoke since this whole event began. Twilight was confused and decided to ask Nightmare what was going on. After they acquiesced to her instructions and bowed, Twilight would proceed to ask, "What is going on...empress? What is the threat here? I don't understand. What is it?" she would ask with a little hushed innocence. Inkwell would speak up. "Whatever the case may be, I'm going to go to the meeting room and go over the Empress's schedule. The Empress can meet with me if she so desires." Inkwell spoke to Twilight. she would hesitate and flare her wings. She flew off back down to the entrance of the castle somewhat shakily. The guards still stood guard and awaited any further instructions, while Inkwell had a hard time landing and steadying her flight as she didn't entirely understand how to fly just yet. She would proceed to the meeting room and overlook the files Nightmare Moon had about her schedule. -

@Illiad Easle "Whatever their reasons may be we cannot allow them to achieve their goals. Thank you for the keys, and stay safe. Be aware. Question everything." Spiral said as she walked off. Once Trixie/Spiral left the library they would mentally converse about a plan. They would watch the guard through the library windows, provided if there were no other ponies in the halls. If there was any risk of her being spotted, she would just go back to her room and sleep as instructed. Should there be no risks of anyone seeing her, she would have observed the library guard just incase that guard tried to do anything. @Jack Baker @Illiad Easle Meanwhile Maud would silently nod to that. She looked down at the ground in a lamenting, almost melancholic fashion. She had a very slight frown across her face and would speak in a slightly deeper tone than normal, "That is a practice I wish to partake in. " Maud would speak as she pulled out a necklace of rock candy. She held it up with her hoof and twirled it slightly as if feeling it one final time. She did not tell the others what it had meant. With a slow, methodical walk to an outcropping of rocks nearby she'd place it on the point of them. Single tears formed on either eyes and dripped down. Once. They were far too small to be noticed, even in such moments of loss her expression remained unwavering. She looked upon it as she was recalling memories of Pinkie. Then she remembered how she lost her family, and her sister to Discord. A twinge of rage flowed through her. It was too much to be kept secret. Her left eye twitched, and she moved aside. With her hoof, she slammed down onto one of the rocks with a sudden snap and the rock poofed to dust. She'd walk forward as if absolutely nothing happened. Ready to return. Once she was back she would say, "Loss propels us forward." and then she would say mentally in clear statement, "Discord will die for what he did to my family." however none of them would hear that. Possibly Raze would, if he had the ability to sense the thoughts of others.

Props Valroa replied to Illiad Easle's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Illiad Easle (I have to agree with that) -Inside- Apple Bloom had walked closer and observed the panel, she observed the misaligned part. "Well ah'll be interested in this. This is fascinatin' stuff!" the filly would exclaim, and as the clay one had instructed her upon these various tasks she would find herself willingly engaged with what was going on. She'd ask questions, and do the basic things that the clay one had instructed. She found herself having a great interest in how things worked around this ship and was willing to learn more should the gray one approve of it. Apple Bloom would keep the various information that she was taught in mind, and would build upon this knowledge as she was taught by the gray one, provided the gray one had allowed her to practice what she had learned on the various basics of the ship. -Outside- Scootaloo had gulped. She hesitated. As she hesitated, Afterglow had read the letter and felt quite pressured by what was going on. He stammered slightly and looked back to them, Scootaloo would exclaim, "They don't know anything about a dead filly!" she would call out to them. Afterglow would look to Amber Stone, "Then explain this here. What is this, then?" she would ask with a rather accusatory statement as she, Gem Shield, and Preston Star garthered the body bag. Preston Star opened up the body bag and showed it to the human, and Scootaloo. Scootaloo had been visibly frightened by this. But Scootaloo was not dead, she was inside the ship and she had seen her a few minutes ago. "T-that's not what it looks like!" she'd say to them. This would greatly confuse the guards. "Explain." Afterglow Stated. Scootaloo had relayed what the guards said to the human. She looked to him as if pleadingly. Afterglow did not write back as this was a situation that could very well change the contents of the letter. -
@Loud Opinion @ExplosionMare @abrony-mouse Magnolia would pause upon feeling that. Her real name was Moonlight after all. Why was she hiding from it? Magnolia knew the answer. She was ashamed of her past, ashamed of the name her parents had given her. A bolt of rage had struck within her mind like lightning. Her parents, so worthless, so careless and so evil. She inhaled as she walked out of the park. With the feelings of the watchman in mind, she would speak to herself. "A sense of danger is within my mask, I will not wear that mask any longer. I am...hesitant to express this to the others but I will. It's risky but the risk...within my mask is far greater." she'd mutter and shake her head slightly as if intimidated by the feeling she was feeling. She didn't want to risk it taking over. "If I...wish to see truth, I must express my own. If I wish to preach, I must practice." she'd say in a harsh muttering way, but one that also carried a sense of defeat. The power that she now had was not one to play with in the least. "Magnolia...I've used that name and drawn myself in the realm of comfortable lies. I cannot lie to myself anymore. From now on, I'll follow the example I wish to see in this world. I am not Magnolia anymore. I am Moonlight Sparkle." she would stepforth with a newfound confidence within herself. With this mindset, she stepped forward into the town. She was no longer Magnolia. She was Moonlight.

@Windy Breeze @Kujamih @Blitz Boom Cali looked to the guards and realized their confusion there. She seemed to have an aura of what almost felt like, suspense? Or enjoyment of getting reactions from others at what she was doing here. "Yeah, I am from another world and I ended up here. I am not even the same species as you, I am just masquerading as a pony so I can fit in. Now please, my friend is hurt and I want him to get looked at." she'd begin to proceed towards the hospital however kept her eye on the guard. The guards could have stopped her or followed her if they wanted to.
-
@Blitz Boom Magnolia would had simply nodded to her explanation. She didn't entirely understand her explanation although it went mostly understood. She didn't press further into that topic for now. Potions was complicated and why would she make such a simple outing as this more complicated then it would need to be. Magnolia listened to the stallion's explanation, her ears perking up a little bit as he continued with his explanation. "Well, whatever the case may be I am not going to tell Fishbone about this necklace. I want to see if she'll notice her 'work' if you will." she'd say with a sly, almost satisfied grin before she did a slight wave to the stallion and would exit out the door with a calm, yet also nervous stride as if she wasn't sure what to do next. Magnolia would take the coffee in her magic, and sip upon it. It was hot, but it was a rather enjoyable sensation on her tongue. As they walked, she would definitely be sure to enjoy the coffee's taste as they strode. "Hey, maybe you should pick out where we go next? Perhaps a restaurant, or do you wanna look at something more scenic? I'll let you choose." she said in a nervous, yet also casual sort of manner as her magenta eyes looked to her friend with an almost calm look within their beauty.

@PawelS Sparkly would overlook the place here and sniffs the air, it didn't smell bad like she thought and it was much better than she would have thought. She raises an eyebrow at Tree Song, and seemed nervous. "Um, you'll pay? But its your money. I'll keep my order small though. I want some fries and a chocolate shake." -
@Illiad Easle @flurry @abrony-mouse Suri watched Vale bound off into the woods with softer eyes, she had never met a deer before. "Well, I trust it you two will be able to get home. And we most certainly will. You know where to find me, but this is my winter home. In the summer I am in manehattan designing dresses." she gave them all her address in case they wanted to send letters before she too would start walking home after a very interesting day.

@Illiad Easle -Inside- Sweetie would rub her head a bit in slight discomfort of the sponge feeling as it increased. If the slug was fairly observant, he would probably know why but Sweetie did not speak up about it for whatever reason. "Well uhm, whatever the case me be I feel like you should do that. The guards don't play around. They fight in wars, defend the Princesses and...that sort of stuff. But they are also the ones who...might be able to help. At least I think?" she'd say in a slightly confused manner as if conjuring up her reasoning on the spot. She truly did not know if that would be the case. Apple Bloom's ears perked up a bit at the comment. "Eh, alright. Can't hurt, I suppose." she'd say in a slight dismissive manner and would go along with the human. While Scootaloo quietly, and nervously nodded. Sweetie watched her friends walked off, while she did not object she did not like the idea of the three of them being separated much at all. It seemed she was not the type to speak up about her issues. Meanwhile, Applebloom had followed the human into the other area with the creatures. She couldn't really comprehend the machines she had seen here, it was unlike anything she had seen before in the least. She had no words and her only reaction was one of bewilderment, as well as curiosity. To the creatures, she backed up a bit at their appearance before they assumed different, pony like forms. She moved back at the way they spoke as if she didn't trust them, or if she was afraid. "I-I do at least I think..." Applebloom was truly at a loss for words here, almost stunned. She'd watch as the human walked off and left the room. She was left with these strange creatures, at the least they didn't hurt her or seemed like they wanted to. -Outside- Scootaloo had nervously followed with the human. Her little wings retracted quite tight against her body. She'd look out at the guards who were standing outside looking at the ship. They stepped back a bit upon seeing Scootaloo who looked out at them. The guards at the very least were surprised, utterly astonished. Before they could do anything Scootaloo would speak up shakily. "I-I...the creatures on this ship want to talk with you and they want to keep y-your distance..." she said nothing, the guards were more intimidating than the creatures on board were. Meanwhile the guards all looked to each other and they all silently exchanged glances. Afterglow spoke up. "They could have talked, but we have one thing on our minds and one thing only. Why did they kill the filly, and why are they wanting only to talk just now?" he'd ask with a angry, disturbed sigh. Scootaloo relayed what was said to the human. -

I feel like this sort of roleplay could only work with 3 or less players, like we have here due to the time it takes for it. If we ever are involved in or create a roleplay of this style that's something we'll have to keep in mind. A possible idea to mitigate this is side quests and 1x1 things (like we talked about) as stories involving multiple characters are rather slow to develop. -

That's a good idea. Hmm, do you have any other ideas yourself? I do like where everything is going though. -

Yeah thats pretty much what I was thinking. I'm not sure of any suggestions I'd wanna add to the story. Maybe however, the Sparkle Family is descended from those who founded the unicorn tribe. Or something is special about that line of heritage. In the show Twilight became a princess, Shining Armour became the prince, among other things. Just an idea, maybe. -

Perhaps it could have been an abandoned hive colony that they had attempted to branch out to and it didn't really go well. Frozen over Marsh, that is more in line with what I have for the green changelings. The Assan hive is primarily based somewhere along the ocean, where the waves sort of crash over caves along the coast - that is where they reside inside of. If you are interested, I'll come up with a full detail for the green changelings and show you. -

Hmm, I don't really think that'd work. I have other lore for them in the works, and I have not had the other hives fully constructed yet. I'm not really sure if I'm interested in one of my creations being "long gone", defeats the point of my ideas. -

You can. I don't post much in the discord since I don't see you online much? Might not go noticed that way. But tell me how you'd incorporate them into the lore? -

@Loud Opinion I like that idea. Pre-industrial is a setting I quite enjoy. Unrelated, have some other things to show you but not related to this roleplay. Changeling hives. I have more in the works, but these are the ones I have s ofar. Blue Hive. Red hive. Orange hive. -

Sounds good to me. What extent of technology will we be using here? -

@Loud Opinion So we will say that lightbulbs, any semblance of modern technology does not exist? They do seem to have lights. You can see a wire there by the lights. They have lights in theaters. -

@Loud Opinion Sounds good, I've kinda been waiting to be entirely honest. As for the technology level, there are light bulbs and Vinyl Scratch has rather modern headphones or speakers. It just seems like it's less common. -
private A Sparkly Situation (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
Props Valroa replied to Props Valroa's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus Sparkly stood there with a small, nervous grin as Frail Spark combed her mane back into place and she nodded and understood her points of view. "You may say you are nothing special, but you are." Sparkly stepped forward and pointed a hoof to Frail Spark's chest. "You are special because you are unique in what you do, plus, who else has a clone of one of the nation's rulers in their home? Nobody else, I'm guessing." she laughed a little bit there, a bit of a joke there but it was also probably true at the same time. "To me, people or rather...ponies like you are quite a rarity. I've not seen such kind and caring people in a long time such as yourself. I know I may flatter you with my words but it's true. I would love to go meet the other ponies here and maybe have someone teach me how to fly. If what you say is true, there is no harm in ponies knowing about me although I don't want ponies to harass you over it so we'll keep as our secret. " she'd say with an eyebrow raised, "And well, as for how I got here, maybe it was destiny or fate that decided for me." she concluded, seeming rather satisfied. -

@Illiad Easle -Inside- "Well, I'm not sure what your really talking about but maybe there are similar crystals here that we can find and replace yours with? Or if you know what kind of crystal it is you can build a new one? Its hard to really understand what your saying it sounds like really complicated rocketry stuff. But if your ship is meant to be in space and cannot fly anywhere but in space its either the crystal or we somehow lift the ship into space? I know unicorns here are powerful, with magic, anything can be done!" Sweetie would say with an optimistic gesture as her innocent eyes blinked as she looked up into the human's eyes. "Well, I reckon that maybe we just build giant wings of wood on this craft with big fans, and maybe that will get us high enough to where the ship would work?" Applebloom would state. "My family has built entire barns before, whats so hard about building wooden wings?" Applebloom would interject, but her plan didn't really seem all that sound but coming from someone like her, that may have been expected. -Outside- Afterglow sighed at the note's contents before writing his reply. In his reply he described the filly. Because he did not know who the filly was, he couldn't supply a name. He also described the creature that was encountered and various other details they had unconvered. Afterglow would also order the more scientifically inclined guards to scan the barriers surrounding the space craft, as well as to see if they can scan the materials the craft itself was made of with the equipment they had. Whether or not this would work would be a different story. The guards would converse about the situation, sometimes idle chatter about their home lives but the tone of the guards was noticeably more sombre with the recovery of a dead filly. -
I wish body hair was not a thing.
-
@Blitz Boom @Windy Breeze @Kujamih Cali would approach the guards, and the guards noticed that she had no cutie mark and alicorn wings. Her orange mane seemed to sparkle and flow with electricity, sort of like a wavy effect. "Long story short, my friend Molotov here was sitting down and some rubble was almost about to crush him so I basically propelled the debris off into the sky and blew it up. unfortunately he had gotten a little hurt so I want to make sure he is okay." she'd reply. "And for the record, I'm not from around here. I'm not even from your dimension, you may call me Cali, or Red Thunder, Lightning, whatever suits me I'm fine with it." she'd state informatively but quickly.
-
@Blitz Boom Magnolia seemed to smile softly at her words there and listened to her. Her soft ears sort of seeming to relax the more she listened. "Oh? Why gold? Is it because I am special?" she asked with an almost cheeky grin which was rather strange considering her character. "Best we prepare now, who knows what lies ahead in life. I look forward to you what you have to teach me." she'd say calmly. She'd ponder what the gold one actually meant. Can these potions actually heal, or enhance? She'd imagine they would. Whatever the case would be, she was deeply curious about it. Magnolia would put the pretzel bag down on the counter with the items they had selected for purchase as she glanced down at Zeehva's legs. She could see the scars along her legs there, and grimaced slightly upon seeing that but with the dress, it looked pretty on her. "I'd rather you keep your dress there. But perhaps I'll find some socks for me in the future." she'd state calmly and then observe the stallion who counted the items. She would calmly look to the stallion who spoke of the elixers being some sort of fad that had gone out, what surprised her the most was that Fishbone was the one who created these necklaces. "I find it quite impressive she would create these. We should let her know we are thankful. Mostly since...I wanted something that commemorated us and we got it here so easily." she was starting to get thirsty and then picked out a water bottle with her magic. "I get thirsty sometimes, you know?" she'd ask slyly but really, she was thirsty as can be though.
