Man I thought of some good ideas for Magnolia, my character if she was in season 8, replacing the school of friendship.

It'd be stuff happening throughout the season and as it goes, the ponies seem more and more scared and her parents try telling Twilight but aren't strong enough.  I can imagine Twilight seeing an unknown white filly in a family photo and wondering who it is. And Her parents quickly hide that, and try talking about something else. And then Shining armour tells Twilight that his first memory is being saved from a fire. Twilight velvet simply says..."It's not time yet..." as Night Light looks at Twilightly Sadly.

Imagine the first scene when Magnolia shows up in ponyville, the sky is covered in black clouds and Twilight sees...something in the distance, and Magnolia soars into the air and slams into the ground right infront of Twilight in such a quick manner that Twilight is lost for words. Imagine that Twilight is seperated from her friends and its only HER and her parents, shining armour hiding in the castle as Magnolia searches for them.

And they are sort of like behind a wall, and Magnolia shot lasers through it and theres holes and the camera scene is showing them all behind the wall and you can see Magnolia walking behind it as she talks to them. Magnolia keeps Twilight's friends in magic bubbles after picking them off one by one but so it recharges and constantly powers up and her friends are all sad and feeling hopeless. I can even imagine her using Rarity for ransom, threatening to crush her with her magic as she attacks against Twilight and her parents, demanding that they tell Twilight the truth or Rarity gets it.

If this was replacing season 8, Magnolia would be the one to destroy the tree of harmony and the elements right infront of Twilight as she mocks and insults her little sister. Magnolia's arc would span the entire season, and not just be completed in a finale.

"Oh if these PATHETIC gems can stop me! We'll see about that! So much for harmony....hehehehehehe...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!" *dark crystals rise up and destroy the tree.

"And as for your elements..." her dark shadows would rip them off the mane 6 and she'd set them at her hooves and then prepare some sort of attack and stomp down on them, shattering them to pieces...

"N-NOOOOOOO!" - Twilight screams, yet Magnolia's grin is so wide it almost splits her face.

Eventually, after picking off Twilight's friends one by one, Twilight and her family are on the run. Magnolia does not care about other ponies, she is only after Twilight and her family. Eventually they are all huddled in a corner or hiding, and Twilight puts up a barrier as Magnolia attacks.

Hey, I remember you. You were around on the forums years ago

My school is now doing the hybrid in person. I am not going back but its interesting how they made us get up an hour earlier and extended the class time by half an hour. Its really stupid but I am glad that gym class is no longer a zoom call or a conference, we can just do it on our own but still this school is just extremely stupid.

One of the things that annoys me about people is you meet someone, you have a decent conversation with them for a while, few weeks or months and then they just never reply again. If I am not worth your time, just say it to my face and be done with it. I am tired of people not being honest with what they really think. Being left hanging just shows you who your true friends are. 

I also notice this friend system has a thing of 'refusing' friend requests. If someone refuses, then I know that they are not worth my interest and then I will forget that they exist. See between the lines. You know who your friends are, and those who are not. 

I might sound harsh, but I just had to say it.

Wrote a song about Magnolia. Not entirely my lyrics or my song, but it definitely sounds pretty good.

I remember that the first foreign culture I was introduced to was Japan. Something about Japan has always fascinated me.

Magnolia fighting Twilight.

Been thinking about my character Magnolia's backstory more. She has the same colors of Shining Armour in a way, so I had an idea...what if Magnolia is a lost member of the Sparkle family? 

In my first idea, Magnolia was conceived accidentally by Twilight Velvet and Night Light. She was the first born, and this was before her parents had lived in Canterlot. Her parents originally were from Sire's Hollow. Given an alignment between the planets of the Equestrian Solar system and a supermoon (a rare occurrence that happens every few housand years). There was a legend around the alignment and the supermoon, that those born on that date will become incredibly gifted with magic. Magnolia was born on this date, but Magnolia was not her original name. Her original name was Moonlight Sparkle.

Relucantly, Twilight Velvet and Night Light would raise her as their foal. The young Moonlight was easily scared of others and hated going outside. She never got along with other foals and had a hard time making friends. She never got her cutie mark until much later in her youth. She was also bullied for being a blank flank. When trying to get advice from her parents, Twilight Velvet and Night would generally ignore her or cast her aside, or tell her minor things. Without feeling understood by anyone, she turned inward and silent.

Soon enough, Twilight Velvet and Night Light would bear another foal. This time it was Shining Armour. Her parents cherished the young foal with love, and left Moonlight in the dark. Moonlight would remain distant from her baby brother. Eventually, for unknown reasons there would be a house fire. Moonlight saved Shining Armour from the house fire, carrying him in a cradle yet her parents blamed her for the fire and screamed at her, leaving Magnolia a crying mess. She ran away. Even at the age of 16, she had not gotten her cutie mark yet.

Moonlight would wind up lost within some caves. With the conclusion that she was rejected by the only ponies who ever remotely cared, she would snap and eventually go further within the caves. Within the caves, she found some sort of comfort within the dark shadows of the cave. She for once, felt safe. Upon exiting the cave, she would get her cutie mark. With wonder, she looked at her flank seeing the black and purple stars on it. A search team was sent into the caves by Twilight Velvet and Night Light, they found nothing, for Moonlight had already left. Twilight Velvet and Night Light were horrified they couldn't find her, now that they had lost Moonlight, they both felt very sorry for the way that they treated her and longed for her return.

She was lost, and did not know her way back and would wander the land for years, stealing what she needed to survive for years. Due to emotional reasons and the loss of their home, they moved away to Canterlot. They wished they could thank Moonlight for saving Shining Armour. After they moved, they vowed to never speak of Moonlight again and hid what had happened from other ponies. In part due to their guilt in the tragedy, and the pain that talking about it brings up.

Eventually Moonlight came across a field of Magnolia flowers. She enjoyed the smell of the flowers and had also felt comforted by the presence of them. She would roll around in the fields of flowers and play, for the first time being happy. For this reason, she changed her name by Magnolia and would go by it ever since. It eventually set into Magnolia that she was for all intense and purposes, and orphan. She'd do the occasional odd job for ponies she had come across to earn money.

In her spare time, she would read. As an avid reader, she would absorb the knowledge she needed in order to function in the world. Drawn by the allure of shadow magic, after reading forbidden books from areas she could she would begin practicing shadow magic. It came to her naturally, and became her biggest strength. For years, she would practice and perfect her magic in total secrecy. Totally lost in her magic, and with nobody to turn to for help her loss and pain would become rage, and the rage became a desire for more magic. More power.

Eventually she was inspired to go on a journey. A journey to find the legendary Gorgon's Eye. A pony by the name of A.K. Yearling wrote about the legend and where it might be located, as well as a fantastical tale of 'Daring Do'.  It would take a long time and plenty of effort, trials, and near death but Magnolia was able to retrieve the artifact in a distant land. She got to it before Daring Do was able to, and wore it herself.

It granted her the ability to turn those she hated into stone, as well as a general power boost. Years passed, and she eventually learned of Twilight Sparkle, her younger sister. Knowing of the name 'Sparkle', as she is of the family she would only grovel in envy and hatred that Twilight Sparkle had gotten all the attention as well as Shining Armour.

She would lurk in solitude, draining power and magic from others in hopes of working up enough power within her to ascend herself to alicorn status, so that she may strike down Twilight Sparkle and claim her crown for herself. All of this was to cover up her deep pain of being abandoned, the power complex, her ego, all of it was to fill the wound within her.

Fuck it. I am writing my OWN Daring Do story tomorrow.

I took a read of your 'Last Lesson' on fanfiction and I have to say I am quite impressed with it. 

I am definitely at the point where I am looking forward. I'll be taking the SAT test in may and from there, I'll move on. My high school is worthless, I can't wait to be done with them. Will also be learning to drive over the summer among other things. Time to move forward, and time to actually do something for my life.

One of the things about high school is, you have this sense that it's its own little world and you are 'loyal' to other people. Its a constant, constant schedule, something that 'everyone' is doing but once you graduate, it is never like that again and you have the power to actually make your own choices. To be you, and you will just...fade away in other people's minds from high school and the time will eventually fade away from when you were in high school.

I tend to view life in a different manner from others. I view life in terms of relationships. What is this person thinking, where are they? What is their relation to me, in my thoughts? What they doing? How long has it been since (insert x) has happened? What is their relationship with the time period I was in? Or their relation with my pre-conceived notions of their beliefs? What was going on at the time, what did they think of (x event)? The list goes on, this is how I view things.
