I would like to see it brought back. There was no issues from what it was before, why change it?

@ExplosionMare Afterglow observed the various changes of his body that took place. Inkwell and the others watched with amazement at what was going on and when Afterglow was done he flapped his wings and did some sort of pose to the others as if showing off a bit. He thanked Nightmare Moon for the transformation and proceeded to admire and check out his new form. Inkwell was next and stepped forward, after seeing what happened she wasn't as nervous. Moonlight was the third, followed by Smart planner. Other guards were next. After all of the staff were eventually transitioned into bat ponies Nightmare Moon could see the selection of batponies that were standing around now. Moonlight and Afterglow seemed to be checking each other's new forms out, while the others were admiring their forms. "Y-you uh, look great Moonlight." Afterglow stated to Moonlight with a grin. Afterglow would then look to Inkwell and admire her form as well before Moonlight redirected his attention to her. "Thanks. You too." Moonlight would silently wink to him, after a brief dialog between the various guards the guards would go quiet and allow Nightmare Moon to focus. Inkwell out of all of them, still looked the most meek and cute of them all despite the transformation. She blinked her slit red eyes. Not all of the ponies here had red eyes. Afterglow did, Moonlight retained her eye color. Other guards had their eye colors changed though. The normal citizens who were guarded over by Twilight were more amazed if anything by what had just happened. Their confusion and fear was replaced by curiosity and interest. The guards that were guarding over them were not transformed yet. They switched positions with other guards who had been transformed and after those guards were turned into bat ponies the entire room was now filled with bat ponies besides the citizens.

Depending on what it is I will seek to rectify it, or I will find a way to get them back. I hold grudges, honestly.

It should be mandatory, yes but a lot of things need to be changed. For starters all schools should be privatized and students should have the choice to go anywhere they want for school no matter what. The school system we use in the modern day was made from the 1800's and is made to make students factory workers. This needs to change. Students get yelled at for collaborating on assignments or talking during class. This is not the way it should be as in the real world, you must collaborate and communicate with people. High school is where it is really pointless as students are forced to take classes that have no affect on their future / classes. On the topic of courses that are mandated in school the majority of them are worthless. If you aren't doing anything science related in the future you shouldn't be mandated to take those courses, same with English. History I think is the most important of all classes as it is important to learn the past to avoid the mistakes of those that came before us to create a better future. But in the United States the quality of education is absolutely horrendous and is taught from an erroneous perspective. This entire system needs to be uprooted, heavily scrutinized, and then reformed and changed from the bottom up. Elementary and middle school should teach the basics of the 'core' subjects you need while high school should be more focused on what you want to do in the future. I would remove the 'credit' requirements to graduate. A student should not be picking classes on what they need to have for graduation, they should pick it because they are interested and want to learn. I'd probably have a mandatory class for learning about taxes, government, communication skills, and a health class though. Otherwise, let students pick what they want to pick and the mandatory of Science, Math, and English courses should be removed. If a student wants to take it, let them, if not, don't force it down their throat. Its not the school's future, it is the student's. Large tests should be removed. You forget the knowledge you learn after the test, so to learn it in that manner is wasteful and stupid. You also sit around after those tests, so it is also wasting time as well. The system of education should not be based around tests or numerical grades, but rather application of the learned material into the student's life or possibly even job opportunities and the like. College? Well, thats great. Just remove the bullshit. You should not have to take classes that have no bearing on what you want to major in. Remove all the bullshit about majoring. If you want to take school online you should have a majorly reduced college loan as you are not actually attending college. Why is college so expensive and wasteful of time? It shouldn't be. Needs to be changed. I don't believe the government should be influencing student's minds. All schools should be private, but should be held to these standards and requirements of operating of schools. Actually hire teachers that WANT to teach, rather than some dumb fucks who don't know what they are doing or whatever else. Teachers should get a higher wage to keep them happy and eliminate the teacher's unions that are poisoning education. Remove the competitiveness, who cares about competing in schools for grades? That's just stupid. Schools should be soley talored to the individual's interests for the future, and nothing else. Also remove the 'prestigousness' about schooling. Who cares if so and so went to this school, or went to harvard or whatever? It's just common elitist thinking that really needs to stop. For school programs the majority of them suck, if we are going to be using online programs we should actually be using ones not prone to errors or stupid layouts and templates.

@Illiad Easle Thank you. As for the guards, I can start out with 5 guards. Those 3 will be the ones named, perhaps I will name and create other characters for the other guards as we go along. Some of them will just be faceless NPCs going along with it. Although I am not sure how they would 'summon' the other guards? Communication spell back to headquarters or something? Magical walky talkies? For Sweetie, I would do my best with it. I wish to avoid this being too 'structured', but there will be structure (more so than our previous 1x1 RP). With me playing these characters, I wouldn't like it all to be set in stone from the start, with a good bit of leeway but a general idea of where it may end (with variations depending on what I do with my characters) sounds like a plan to me. You can start this one off as you see fit as this is your idea we are going with here.

@Catpone Cerberus Sparkly definitely noticed the switch of tone there and her ears perked up with a slight grin, "You don't have to talk like that, just speak honestly. No need to put on a front or certain tone around me." she said with thought and sat up, she stood on her hooves. Still shakily but not as much as before. It seemed she was gradually getting the hang of it and more comfortable with her ability to stand on her own. Hey legs wobbled a bit but she didn't fall. Upon the topic of food, Sparkly found herself hungry. "Food? Why didn't I think of that earlier? Normally I'd prefer chips or pizza but I look forward to seeing what food is like here. Show me, I'm getting hungry by the second." she spoke in a hungry manner. She was hungry for sure, it seemed the mere mention of food made her hungry.

@ExplosionMare The guards nodded obediently and headed off to go gather the rest of the guards and staff within the castle. Some of them stayed behind with Twilight to watch over the guards. They went off into the castle to gather up the other guards. This also included Inkwell, Moonlight, and Afterglow. Smart Planner was also in the castle too and was also rounded up. Within a few minutes dozens of guards poured into the room and stood in a single file line. Some of the guards seemed to be teasing Inkwell and made her the first in line. Inkwell was the more nervous type, having made to have gone first by the other guards. She would be the first one to be turned into a batpony. That was, until Afterglow stood up and stepped infront of her. He bowed. "I would like to go first. It has been my dream to see myself become an entirely nocturnal pony and to fully embrace the eternal night. So please, allow me to go first?" his voice spoke of pride, and deep loyalty to Nightmare Moon. The others stood there quietly. Inkwell was shaking a bit but Afterglow patted her head. "Don't be nervous, you'll be better soon, Raven Inkwell. Come on." he helped her up and she seemed to calm down. Moonlight stood next to Afterglow silently. Her nightly eyes blinked once. The other ponies were watching this with various expressions.

@Illiad Easle With the elements removed from the equation, this is far more doable for me. You can have the CMC and I can have my group of guards? I will have 3 lead guards, and some other unimportant guards. A team of 5? 10? How many guards we talking here? For the guards I will be playing: Preston Star: Light purple mare with purple eyes, pink and darker purple mane and tail. Inquisitive, yet cautious sort. Cutie mark is a blue star surrounded by a white swirl. She is a unicorn who focuses on barrier and shield magic. Defense. Questions everything, quite curious. Physically weaker than Stern Steel but not as weak as Fly Heart. Special weapon is a shield. Stern Steel: White pegaus, blue eyes and brown hair and tail. Cutie mark is that of a steel sword inter crossing with a rod of steel. Total ass, arrogant prick but he is very protective of other ponies. A real guard sort, seldomly speaks and is rather gruff. He is used to physical fighting, and can deal hard physical blows. Rather dumb, hard headed. Special weapon is a sword. Fly Heart: Calm green color, dark green eyes. Minty colored mane and tail. Cutie mark is a red heart with a pair of white wings. Diplomatic sort, tries to defuse situations before they escalate. When fighting, she is fairly quick, nimble. But physically frail and weak. Has a blow dart gun that shoots darts that can make normal creatures fall asleep or make them dizzy / hazed. I could play one of the CMC, perhaps Sweetie Belle while you play the other two? So I can sort of have both the guard perspective, and a perspective of the 3 fillies? Although I may not match her character / personality well. If you have any ideas, comments, suggests, etc just ask.

She was quite pleased, her lavender cheeks lit up in a blush and she posed infront of the mirror making various seductive poses at herself to gage her appearance. She looked pretty stunning and giggled, "You do a great job, Frail Spark! It looks amazing and I thank you very much for it. As for your saying there, don't think of it that much and don't let it bother you. Bad things may come, but that doesn't mean we have to take away the good we do now." she turned around and looked to her happily, with a joyful smile. She definitely understood Frail Spark's comment on the sticks there. "Well, I haven't thought of that actually but hey, that's an interesting thing. So what do you wanna do now? Just hang out or do you wanna go see your friends and I can wear some sort of cloak? Something to hide my wings perhaps." she'd state, calmly.

She went off to inform the other construction ponies of the plans for the temporary strage. Smart Planner supplied the designs for the stage quickly, it would look very regal and suiting of the style Nightmare Moon likes. Upon coming to an agreement on the style of it, the construction ponies would be sent out to gather the materials and construction of this temporary stage began in the middle of Canterlot. Smart Planner was on the scene supplying the methods and telling the construction ponies what was needed for this. Nightmare Moon had to wait about a minute or so in the throne room. Twilight and the guards would enter in. The guards had around 10 assorted civilian ponies who seemed rather distressed but not entirely freaking out. Twilight had calmed them to where they were manageable. The guards had made the civilian ponies bow before Nightmare Moon and they all did so. The guards and Twilight then bowed in front of Nightmare Moon to show them expect, when told to rise they would rise. Twilight would look to Nightmare Moon and would have a suggestion, "Here are the ponies you asked for, although I will ask you, your castle staff and the ponies that inhabit this castle aren't bat ponies. You could start with the castle staff and then do normal civilians, if that is alright of me to suggest."

@Illiad Easle From what you say here this all seems very complicated and I cannot exactly go along with it. I'd prefer we either do something else, or a simplified version of this. I'm not all to inclined to seek group roleplay as of this moment, not all that interested with it. Do you have any other ideas? This is all just too much for me. I cannot RP more than one set 'group' so to speak, at least of this magnitude. Playing the CMC? I could probably try that. It sounds interesting
