  1. Maybe I should try writing more often. I am good at roleplaying, maybe I will be good at writing? Small things here and there is what I'll do. One shot things.

    Props X Roarke

Felt like writing a short thing here based off of the Austraeoh series. An alternative shipping between Props and Roarke, two major characters of the story. Pretty off the cuff, I wrote this on the spot at nearly 2AM. Hope it's a good thought for what it's worth. --- Props was alone in the engine room of the Noble Jury. Or "Nancy Jane's Womb" as Floydien referred to it as. She sat there, her gaze looking upon a certain book that was within the glowing red threshold. Her eyes laid transfixed upon the book's ruby red glow, along with the methodic humming of the ship's engines. Props had been staring into it for a few minutes. Realizing she had left a wrench on the floor, she'd snap out of her gaze to grab the wrench in her mouth. Props always carried her tools in her mouth, despite the fact that she could just use her saddlebags for it. For whatever reason, it made her happy. A slight giddy sensation washed throughout her as she would gently place the wrench into the toolchest she kept all her wrenches in. "I see you've been spending a lot of time to yourself, lately." a sudden harsh voice spoke from behind Props. Props would turn to see Roarke standing there behind her, leaning up against the wall casually. Roarke's lenses would focus upon Prop's eyes deeply. Her lenses zooming in and out ever so slightly, the various shades of gold glinting in the window's light. "Yeah...I suppose I've been thinking about a few things lately." Props would sigh in a nervous fashion. Roarke always intimidated her to be truthful. "Those things being?" Roarke would ask passively as she'd lean forward, looking to Props in an intent manner. She'd stride close to Props, standing over the smaller Earth Pony - who recoiled slightly at such an intimidating display. "U-umm...w-what do you want with me?" Props would ask meekly as her front two hooves shuffled a bit as she avoided Roarke's gaze. Roarke would smirk somewhat in a predatory fashion as she'd meet Props's eye level and look deeply into her eyes. "I know you've been thinking about me. Whenever the rest of us are doing things together, you always seem to avoid me..." she said calmly, yet within her calm tone, there was a hint of power. "You dance around every question I ask you, you avoid eye contact..." she said, her words flowing calmly. "W-well um...I-I...like you..." Props said to Roarke, as if she was admitting a terrible secret. Roarke would straighten up upon those words, and a knowing smirk came across her face. "You like me, hm?" Roarke asked in a more sly manner as she looked down at Props in a more sultry manner. "N-Not just like...I love you...I don't know why I feel this way, maybe it's because you are the strongest one here and I am the weakest link among us. I'm just a small Earth Pony who can't d-defend myself...but, you are so mysterious, you never tell us much about yourself. I've always like a mystery...and I've always liked mares...s-so..." she spoke in a nervous manner, letting her words trail off. Roarke chuckled gently and stroke closer to her, putting her hoof onto Props's shoulder and giving her a slight pat. The smaller Earth Pony shook a bit at the physical contact, then her back arched slightly - almost like a cat. It was instinctual. Roarke then would meet Props's eyes again. "I thought Rainbow would have feelings for me - but I guess not." she said, her eyes narrowing as she remembered how Rainbow never wanted to be with anyone ever again because of the pain it caused her. "But you on the other hoof? I've always liked you, Props." she chuckled again as she continued to speak, "You are small. Inventive. Creative..." she said, her words also trailing off. Props's eyes would widen a bit as Roarke moved in front of her - their snoots almost touching. "You are the perfect Prey..." Roarke said, showing her teeth. Props would jump back a bit, looking quite scared. Then all of a sudden, Roarke would pat her on her shoulder. "Always the scaredy cat of the bunch, are you? You are perfect, Props. But not perfect enough..." she said, as she gently stroked Props's shoulder. "W-what do you mean? Am I not g-good enough for you?" Props asked nervously, her ears lowering again as if bracing for an answer she didn't want to hear. Roarke's grin grew wider. "Come, Props, I have much to teach you..." she said, extending a hoof to her. Props would take Roarke's hoof nervously, and Roarke would lead her out of the engine room.
  3. Neutral. The past few days have been rather good in my real life, but my online life feels a bit empty sometimes.
  4. @Catpone Cerberus Sombra growled, and considered this personality impossible to reason with. Flint was really bothering him greatly. Any effort spent on controlling her could potentially backfire in his face, and if it was true that entire nations have tried to kill her off - then it was beyond his power to do so. Instead, he just looked at her in a hateful manner and snorted. "Get lost. You are impossible to reason with. Go on and spread chaos or whatever it is that you do. Just get away from me." he ordered, already finding it painful to listen to her talking to her. Una could see how annoyed Sombra was getting, he was already extremely enraged, and was seemingly doing what he could to maintain control over his emotions. "I gave you a chance, and I can already tell you will do your best to purposefully bicker and annoy me. Begon, filth!" he shouted at the top of his lungs.
  5. @Jeric How would you (as in, if you had an idea) explain how Cadence became the leader of the Crystal Empire despite it being gone for a thousand years since it was banished? I'm curious.
  6. @Jesse Terrence Yes, exactly. If I had wrote it, I would have had Amore (the actual Amore) be found locked up somewhere by Sombra and after Sombra was defeated, Amore returns to power. There wouldn't be any flurry heart or marriage with Shining Armor, as that made no sense to me. And by Amore, I mean -
  7. You alright? Hope is never lost. I don't want you to give up on it. Whatever is happening with you, you have friends who are here to support you.

  8. Yup. I've known of that - it should have been in the show. I don't understand how Cadence became leader of the Crystal Empire though...I never understood that. Is there something that I am missing?
  9. Cadence to me doesn't really mean a whole lot. She should, but she doesn't. In the show they never did much with her. They never explained her backstory, or how she became an alicorn in the show. I wish they did more with her, but, I don't find a reason to consider her "the ultimate" alicorn. I'd say the Ultimate Alicorn is Celestia, for she controls the Sun, the sole reason why the world is livable.
  10. @Catpone Cerberus Sombra would give Flint a harsh glare. "I don't trust you." he spat suddenly and then took a few steps forward. "Maybe if you got a sense of direction into your head you'd be quite something. But all I see is indications that you are an aimless vagabond. It would be easy for me to go the other way, but it seems you'd slip up and let others around here know about me. That's not something that I will let happen. If others were to know about me, and her..." he gestured to Una. "They'd drag us away to a dungeon somewhere, or outright kill us! And word would spread about it...everywhere..." he seethed with hate.
  11. @Catpone Cerberus Sombra would give Flint a strange look. While Sombra wanted to control and own everything for himself - he didn't want to destroy the land he ruled from. What good ruler would destroy the land they rule over? Would only tarnish his own name, if anything. "That'd just label you as a terrorist. The Two Sisters would hunt you down and lock you away for something like that. Destroying the land is a stupid thing to do. Unless you are in war." he said, in a tone that indicated he didn't find anything about that funny.
  12. Happy birthday, J.K. Simmons!

  13. @Blitz Boom Spectra had this on her mind as she was getting into her private "room" as it were. It would be a possible goal to study the construct more. To become the one who enforces order on the world, but she were not willing to go too far. She wanted ponies to willingly accept her rule. It was far more satisfying to think about ponies willingly accepting her power over them, instead of her forcing them down to bow at her hooves. Willingly submitting to her was far more preferable. Less chances of her being worked against. Domination and destruction was not her style. Subversion and slow building up of control was what she wanted to do, as it was far more effective. Too many came before her to attempt to take over with power as their only saving grace - and she wanted to avoid the terrible fates of those who fought like that. Spectra would look to Veil as the strange white liquid rolled off her face. Oddly enough, she didn't close her eyes when it went over her eyes. It wasn't something natural. If Veil had a sense of smell, it's sweet smell had a slight chemical smell combined within whatever it smelled like. It was hard to really put a pin on it exactly what it was. The pool was decent size. Enough to fit a group of ponies. The construction of the whole area was fairly plain, yet also appealing. The walls had murals of various ponies congregating within the pool itself, along with the surrounding landscape. Of note, was that the landscape looked slightly different from however it is today. Spectra was interested that Veil had came in here - she didn't know how a non-physical being would react to the pool's effects. That is, if it would even work at all. To all of Veil's nervous comments, she'd chuckle lightly and swim closer to her, looking Veil directly into the eye as she poked the liquid. It was oddly warm and thick - not like honey though. It didn't feel like it would be difficult to move through it, despite how thick this liquid truly was. "I found this, a long time ago. This lair, as it were - is not of my creation. While I've modified lots of things over the years, it's construction has always remained an enigma. I could not find much details about it, other than that it had been constructed by Ancient Unicorns at the time of Equestria's founding. By the time I had came here, it was long since abandoned, but it's enchantments kept it from falling apart. The Ancient Unicorns would come here to replenish their magic, heal injuries, and improve lifespan with this pool here." she said, gesturing a hoof into the pool. "Of course, I've modified it quite a bit...with knowledge that they didn't have. Took years..." she smirked as memories rolled through her head. She would have various intelligent unicorns come here, and use them to do whatever she needed around here. Of course, after she had them complete their tasks - she captured them inside of the orbs. Spectra would take only naturally take credit. "This liquid here, has a special property. You can fall asleep in it and it will awake you at exactly 8 hours. Perfect. It's better than any bed, really, come on in and try it out.." she gestured with her hoof. Sonata wouldn't be able to really smell much about the room, it was purposefully simple in design.
  14. Main changes I look forward to is a fresh start in a lot of regards to my friendships and how I conduct myself with other people.
  15. @Catpone Cerberus Sombra would look to Flint as they walked further down the mountain and towards the wilderness. "Valid point, however, I know enough to know that other worlds are - and have been bleeding into this one. It is concerning to think how that would affect the state of affairs in the world, if it ends up getting to an increased level." he would say to them, though he was only really concerned about the stability of any future reign he would have over Equestria itself.
  16. @Catpone Cerberus Sombra's eyes would narrow slightly at Flint's explanation as they made their way out of the cave. If they had made their way out of the cave he would begin to lead them away from the city, down the mountain and into the Wilderness. At least that was his intention. Perhaps they can find some privacy there. "Perhaps you should have listened to what that dragon was saying, could have given you more of a clue." Sombra would say, irritated by how Flint didn't know much more than that. Something about that red dragon sounded familiar. He would figure that Dragon is the one they met earlier, but he didn't want to reveal too much to Flint. "It is possible you came from another world. I have never seen one such as you, so the logical conclusion is that your origins are not of this world." he commented idly as they continued, then looking to Una. "I do not have it in my ability to test it. Even if I did, I would not find myself inclined to." he shrugged. "Attracts unwanted attention."

    Interesting style! Is cute!
  18. *Hugs Silky.* Thank you for being my friend.
  19. Were the earlier G5 designs better? From what I have seen, this seems to be an early concept art of the characters. I must say, I much prefer this look to what we've got in the actual show. Zipp here is the one that looks the best in my opinion, but I really wish the G5 ponies looked like this instead of what we got in the show. Blue Hitch is perfect. Pipp here looks much better, as well. I love everything about these designs.

Instead maybe you can draw Magloria here?
  21. @Catpone Cerberus Sombra would look to Flint in a fairly disinterested manner. "Whatever the case is - it is clear to me that there are other forces at work within this world that I have been unaware of. If I had any guesses, you are the result of another dimension bleeding into our own...somehow..." then his eyes widened as an idea dawned upon him. Perhaps the return of the Crystal Empire is what caused the Dimensional barriers to slip slightly, allowing beings from other dimensions to slide into this one? He had no idea how long Una's building was in that forest for. It was well hidden after all - but he wasn't so sure about that bit. "Let me ask you this. Would a massive buildup of magic relating to physical constructs be something that could cause other worlds to bleed into this one?" he wasn't going to tell Flint who he was, or what his plans were, obviously. "As for the invisible object you had detected - we should go elsewhere. Whoever or whatever was watching us now knows where we are. I am vulnerable to attack." he said in a weary manner as he began to walk out slowly. The way he looked around and the manner he walked indicated he expected to be attacked, and he had a spell ready just incase of that. Sombra gave Flint a fairly distrustful look as he continued forward. Una could possibly feel Sombra's hate rise beyond the levels he normally had. Sombra was very annoyed, but opted to attempt to be more diplomatic here.

Maybe you could draw two OCs of mine together?

  23. Depends on the strength of the user's magic and the amount of focus. The type of magic would also differ, but I would imagine it would be quite dangerous and explosive.
