private IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus "The building was in the middle of nowhere, but if anyone was able to find it - they would have at this point. I would imagine that the Equestrian leadership would find the appearance of a building out of nowhere interesting. Ponies are social creatures. But perhaps that may be looking too far into it. They may very well forget about the whole thing." he grunted, and thought about the dragon. "The dragon we saw was hours away, and he'd likely be gone if we were to ever go back and look." he shrugged. "We should leave the library and find somewhere to practice our newfound understanding of magic in isolation." he suggested, thinking they have spent a long enough time here, for now. -
private IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus "Purposeful design. That would make sense - the dragon that we saw a bit ago seemed to possess some knowledge about you. Likely...his origins could pave the way towards knowing where you are from. Another world, evidently. It could prove a problem, with individuals phasing into this world from other worlds...that is something I have not considered until recently..." he said thoughtfully, but his pure hate was still there, as always. "We must find out what your design was intended to be. It is paramount we figure that out first, incase the two sisters happened to have come across one similar to you, and taken them in like I have with you. Time is of the essence." he insisted, with no room to argue. -
@Sekel Very good to see that you've returned. Hope you are doing well! @Blitz Boom If you would like to discuss something involving a new scene in Casual Stroll involving me playing as Maud or one of my other characters we could discuss that. Spectra is my major villain, Magnolia is a reformed villain (at least in this roleplay), so I am thinking I could play someone more neutral? I have a few characters who could fit the bill for that. I have a stallion named Phase Glider who is practically an enigma (though I remember some of how he was) - well renowned for invisibility. He was a lot more of a Trixie-like character in his reality, having done a lot of nefarious things, but upon finding himself to wherever he ends up in this world, he'll be a lot more neutral-like. I do not have any physical descriptions or stuff like that to him.

@Sekel @Blitz Boom Magnolia would narrow her eyes to Last and Drone's reactions. She did not know what to think of them. Both of them clearly had strong loyalty to whatever causes they served. Magnolia truly hated the idea of something like that. It made her writhe with disgust. To think that one would give their life so idly when they could be spent pursuing their own individuality. Whatever. It's not like it was her life to lose anyway, and so she simply opted to not care about it. To Stitche's statement, Magnolia would nod in agreement. "Yeah, you've got that right." she spoke with a slight grumble and then went silent as they continued onward. As they walked towards the estate, Magnolia would ponder how truly lucky she were to have secured an interaction with her sister. It was something she was definitely not going to slip away. The entry into the estate was what Magnolia had already seen - yet that did not take away from the grandness of it all. Such an estate commanded so much respect - for it's heritage had vast amounts of knowledge within. Something she hoped Twilight would understand. Magnolia would nod to Alluria when she spoke, but would not interfere, allowing the two of them to speak to each other. After Twilight's reply to Alluria, Magnolia would speak. "She's the real deal. It's why she noticed who I was so readily. That I was one of the Sparkle family." Magnolia spoke calmly.

IC: The Frozen North (1x1 with Blitz Boom)
Spectral Fade replied to Magloria 's topic in Advanced Roleplays
@Blitz Boom There were many orbs in here. The number was hard to guess, but they lined the walls in circular fashions. Many levels lined up the walls. For whatever reason it seemed as though Spectra had chosen to have his wife in the center of the room next to another certain Orb. The orbs glowed blue - the glow coming from whatever material had made up the orbs themselves. It was clearly some kind of mix between Crystal and glass, but it had an odd consistency to it. He could clearly see within an orb if he got close enough, but if he stood further away the occupants seemed rather blurred out. Whatever caused that, it was something he was unlikely to have seen before. Every now and then the orbs would flicker slightly - almost like a flickering flame. The difference in luminosity was subtle, but enough to be noticeable. Perhaps it was because Spectra's magic was still recovering from the climatic battle with Malevolence. This place had a sense of eeriness to it. It was not like the pure evil that could be sensed in Mindstorm's tower - it was more of the sheer silence and display of all these ponies within the orbs. A collection of individuals. A collection of lives. All trapped in stasis. None of them aware of how much time has passed. He might as well be looking at ponies frozen within ice. If he had the interest, the orb that was directly next to Operata's wife contained a certain blue mare. One that looked exactly like how Spectra looked when they first met. Magloria, was it? Within the orb, Magloria would stare outward with a look of disgust. It was the face a harsh school teacher would make when a student did something out of line. Whoever Magloria really was, perhaps if she had ever gotten free - there might be some real answers to be gleamed from her. After all, Spectra spoke very vaguely about her. There was something...about her that stood out from all the others, though. It was hard to really put into words. But if he looked within Magloria's orb, he'd certainly feel it. Her eyes radiated of power, authority. Harsh, but fair. Her stature was well accomplished - but not royal, nor malevolent. A mystery is what she were. Spectra had actually meant Operata, but did not approach him when they had entered. Her focus was geared more towards the construct and what it was doing. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she looked over to it as if she was mentally processing what she was seeing. It was very interesting to watch it work like that. It knew it's place and it did it's work without dialog or complaint. It was the perfect servant for tasks such as this. She had to find out how it worked and if she could make use of it's magic for herself. But now? She were honestly...tired, she hadn't felt that way in a long time. Spectra were starting to reel from the fight a bit and yawned. She needed rest. "Perhaps it can do that. I'll specify my instructions further, and see what it does." Spectra would speak, and would briefly walk over to the construct. She'd order it to continue cleaning the objects - but would state that once it was finished, that it should clean the walls, floors, and the ceiling in the same manner. It was something Spectra herself had done in the past with her magic, but she did not find it in her interest to do that again when there was another that could do it for her. Spectra herself, remembered those times where she'd spend entire days cleaning and getting everything just right. It was when her mind had less to do, and less to think of. Spectra would notice the cat jump onto Veil's back, but would not seem to really react to that. Spectra would begin walking away from them all to a large dark wall on the opposite side of all the orbs. Her horn glowed white, and her hoof did too. She would then stand in front of the wall for a moment. With her hoof, she'd draw a strange symbol on the wall. There then was a large humming sound, and the wall itself would open up with a bright white light. A hidden passageway. Spectra would smirk to them as her body shimmered white as various white crystals on the wall in whatever the hidden room contained - began to light up. With a motion of a hoof, she would motion them over. -
private IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus This reaction confused Sombra greatly. He was sure that the vision would be able to make her feel hate. Rather than lash out at her again, Sombra found himself confused. The kind of vision he portrayed was explicitly tailored for Una to feel hatred, but she said she felt none from it? It wouldn't make any sense for her to be lying, so he was lead to believe that something else was going on. Something that he didn't have any sort of understanding of. "Strange. Very strange." he remarked with a sigh and went silent for a bit. He was almost unsure of what they should do now. But one question did come across his mind. "What else did you feel, then? Nothing? That is very strange. Something must be going on here then...perhaps someone or something is meddling with us?" he asked with a dark stare. -
private IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus Soon after Una felt the darkness of the final scene of the vision - the visions themselves faded away and Sombra's influence rapidly withdrew from her mind. She could tell that not much time had passed, as Sombra was sitting where he was before. It is unlikely he would be sitting in the same spot for several hours anyway - at least that is how the visions felt in length. Sombra's magic faded away from his eyes and he would look to Una as she'd find herself just where she was before the visions started. His eyes were intense. "Now you know what happened to me. What I saw. And what they did to me." he spoke to begin with, his tone more of a low, hungry position. Obviously, he was eager to hear what Una thought about the whole situation she had experienced of. Sombra did not know what she saw, or what she felt, after all. -
IC: The Frozen North (1x1 with Blitz Boom)
Spectral Fade replied to Magloria 's topic in Advanced Roleplays
@Blitz Boom While Operata was alone he could see the sheer number of orbs containing ponies around them. His wife was the most important one to him, no doubt, but this assorted lot of ponies? Each of them had their own lives, hopes and dreams in their various ways. That was all until Spectra had captured them one way or another. It was eerie to be in here by himself. It was dead silent, with only his feline companion by his side. There was not a whole lot that he knew about Spectra, actually. If what she showed was even her real look - or if the name she spoke to him was her real name either. She were most certainly an enigma. Spectra's eyes blinked slightly. Rest? She hadn't considered that - but it was needed. "That's a good idea. My mind needs a break. Come back inside, and we'll do just that." Spectra spoke, ready to lead Veil back inside. "I am sure you could use a rest, as well as our other friend with us." she spoke, making a friendly smile. -
[OOC] The Æther Project
Props Valroa replied to Illiad Easle's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
@Illiad Easle @Blitz Boom Sounds perfectly fine to me. I would like to have some sort of scene where the characters take command of the project and deal with the aftermath. But we do not have to roleplay that all the way out, it can just be more or less described in a post sometime in the future to the scenes as they are now. I do not find myself interested in playing Trixie currently, I do not know what to do with her. Maud and Merlot interest me the most. Spiral would more or less be willing to do anything Maud does, and I figure that she'd get something out of having be the one to have defeated Apollo. We can definitely take a break, but do you mind discussing things and planning out stuff for the future here? -

health What are some health-related issues you deal with?
Props Valroa replied to CandyCorn's topic in General Discussion
I have muscular hernias that are rather prominent in my left leg. Both of my big toenails are abnormal. I have to regularly cut them back far shorter than most people would in order to avoid ingrown toenails. I must have them surgically removed or altered at some point in the future. -
My family never was involved with the church and neither will I be. I see zero appeal in Church / Religious gatherings. Only time I was ever inside of a church was for funerals. My mind is my own church - and I'll come to my own conclusions on reality on my own terms. I don't need some scripture telling me what to think or what to believe. I am my own man and I don't need that. I tend to view the idea of it all in a distinctly negative light. As time goes on, I am glad I was never involved in that kind of a thought process either.

I would like Maud and Magnolia to be included. -
@Blitz Boom Maud had fully expected Apollo's talons to sink into her neck and end her life. Her eyes remained open. Unwavering. Cold. If she was going to die, she would be sure to stare in the face of death. Fortunately for her, death never came. Spiral, meanwhile had let the Thestralium go from her hooves as Maud would feel the sudden flames on her neck. The two of them were blinded by what had happened and were sent back. They both would wordlessly get up, enough in time to observe the results of what was happening with Apollo. Both of them didn't do anything as they watched Apollo's death silently. It was a rather gruesome affair - watching his talons transform into a molten mass of Gold. Then they would watch further as his body grew more and more disfigured thanks to the gold poking out of his body where his body moved. Spiral's expression was more of a grimacing one. In all her years - what she was seeing before her eyes was the most disturbing. Maud however, was more stoic. Her eyes cold, watching the life fade from Apollo's eyes. Maud would take a step forward and looked over everyone. Maud winced somewhat, indicating she was in pain from the burn marks on her neck - they'd remain there for a lifetime. "Take care of the dead. Respectfully. Before you ask - that includes Apollo as well." she would say to the Equestrians who had fought on her side and then turned to the rest. "As for the rest of you, we've got a peace to establish. Enough have died today. Now, we must assume control of the Project and end any remaining fighting onboard." she spoke, clearly. It wasn't a mere statement. It was an order.
