Completed an artwork today, featuring @Starforce's OC!

New computer setup.

A few days ago, I created a PayPal account to serve as another means of receiving payment from customers for completed art commissions that I do elsewhere on the internet. And I have to say - to put it in polite terms - they haven't really left me with a very good first impression. Now a good friend of mine paid me $350 for a piece of commissioned artwork. We decided we would use PayPal to send me the money, considering that I intended to use it to expand the methods of payment available to my customers.

Not only was I hit immediately with a limitation on my account demanding four bits of information that I had to use my precious time to arrange and send to them. But they insisted on keeping MY money on hold for several days. I did get the limitations removed fortunately within 24 hours of sending them what they wanted. But apparently MY money is still on hold and won't be released for another couple or so days according to the message attached to the payment. But by rights I should get it eventually.

I really have no time for these amateurish games when I'm trying to conduct a professional level of business.

But the point I must emphasise to PayPal is this:

I. Want. My. Fucking. Money.

...

In my honest opinion, reddit and twitter are the worst social sites. I only use reddit for memes and looking up communities within my interests (ebikes, mlp), but there's a lot of low-life people and garbage human beings on there. Twitter is just a dumpster fire at this point and I only use it to request commissions from my favorite artists lol.

Then there's youtube comment sections and tiktok...

So while I was working this morning, this one lady approached me and asked for a pound of “almost shredded” turkey (cuz I work in food service). “Almost shredded” meaning the thinnest slice before it’s falling apart. When I handed her the meat, she complained that she wanted it falling apart (which is literally shredded, not “almost shredded”). God, I sometimes hate working as a deli employee. One of the few worst departments within a grocery store :/
