You seem like someone that's been around for a while. How are you doing?

It was when the show was still going strong, so it was pretty crowded here. I was in a Skype group with a couple of people for a while as well. It was a lot of fun speculating about what would happen in future episodes and EQG movies, and going into the episode threads immediately after they'd aired. Even then, though, I was often in the General and Media forums.

You can tell who your real friends are by the ones who initiate conversations - and those who simply respond, but never initiate.
-
I initiate almost all of the conversations around my friend group the only one
I can think of off the top of my head who initiates conversations with me first is my Bestie,@Pandora

𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦:
Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong.
Keep skunks, bankers, and politicians at a distance.
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.
Words that soak into your ears are whispered, not yelled.
The best sermons are lived, not preached.
If you don't take the time to do it right, you'll find the time to do it twice.
Don't corner something that is meaner than you.
Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.
It don’t take a very big person to carry a grudge.
You cannot unsay a cruel word.
Every path has a few puddles.
When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty.
Don't be banging your shin on a stool that's not in the way.
Borrowing trouble from the future doesn't deplete the supply.
Most of the stuff people worry about ain’t never gonna happen anyway.
Don’t judge folks by their relatives.
Silence is sometimes the best answer.
Don‘t interfere with somethin’ that ain’t botherin' you none.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.
If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin’.
Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got.
The biggest troublemaker you’ll ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every mornin’.
Always drink upstream from the herd.
Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.
Lettin’ the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin’ it back in.
If you get to thinkin’ you’re a person of some influence, try orderin’ somebody else’s dog around.
Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you’ll enjoy it a second time.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.
Most times, it just gets down to common sense. -
Been a while since I've seen you on the forums. We probably never really met, but you are welcome to DM me.

I've been thinking of a new character idea. He simply goes by an alias. "Traveler.", or if he wants to use a name, he uses the name "Sojourner." He's something of a legendary figure. An Earth pony stallion who set out from Equestria one day, and left no word of his departure. In the following years, he has uncovered many undiscovered truths which he keeps to himself. He's a dark blue color, though his mane and tail are of lighter shades of green and grey. He has a rather long wispy beard. He's the type of character who is simply jaded to the reality of life and has no real inkling to help anyone, but never goes out of his way to harm anyone either.
He has a rather elderly appearance, but is far stronger and more capable than he looks. Often wearing really worn out clothing which he never changes, yet oddly he is content with this, his clothing never seems to get dirtier or age as he goes throughout the land. His cutie mark is a compass rose with one half of it being darkened out and melting away into black. He has gone by so many names to hide who he really is, and most don't even know he exists. He's rather keen on playing up identities and hiding behind masks whenever he meets ponies, often roleplaying in real life interactions to hide who he truly is.
He's mastered the art of the natural world all on his own through unknown means. He sees the world without limits. He is true neutral, and has no affiliation or orientation with anyone, or anything. His mind is a masterful enigma of dark truths and geographic knowledge. He's a stallion who seems incapable of anger, he has seen and felt so much he has no more room left in his expression to either feel love, or feel anger. He's a passive sort, but doesn't like it when anyone gets close to finding out who he really is. I imagine he could have also founded cities in his time, and surveyed areas for pony nations beyond Equestria, who do not have the technology that Equestria has.

I love that profile photo there. Why does it say you joined on May 24, 2020, if you were on the forums in 2014?

@Magical Mare
That's really interesting! I am glad you like her!
My first name means “Strong power; hardy power, rich ruler” , while my middle name means “Wise Protection”. -
-
I was originally supposed to be name with the exact name that my father has, including the middle name. My middle name is my grandfather's name from my mother's side, while my first name is my dad's name, and the name of my father's father, and his father before him, so on and so forth...all the way back to the original family members who came over from Cumberland in 1828...
*hugs and snuggles the Magical Mare* hehe, yes!

You cannot avoid responsibility and be content. You cannot refuse to face the burdens in life and be happy. You must have the courage to pick up your cross and bear it, even if it costs you everything.
-
Magical Mare - that's a rather cute name!

-
Happy birthday! I hope you are doing well.
