  1. @Silk Glamour All of the conflicts I had with people usually stemmed from one central issue. I was too open and didn't have a filter, and would set myself up thinking a friendship would last forever instead of looking for context clues and checking out the person before speaking to them. Now that I've learned that lesson the hard way, my friends list is a lot smaller and my worries are a lot less, because the compatible people are the ones that remain. I wish to be around people who can 'take' my constant thinking in a light that isn't negative. Yet at the same rate, I also want to change this mentality - by simply not thinking as much. Is it possible to reach? Is it possible to regiment one's mind to get to that state? I've been trying so hard to get to that point, and it has payed off in some works. The key is to distract yourself from overthinking. To distract yourself from whatever bad things happened in the past.
  2. @Jeric Does this mean that the whole rank system will be changed completely because of what has caused the issue? I would have just gotten the Elements of Harmony Rank, and now it's slipped away.
  3. Apprehension would be what I would want to remove first. If not that, then anxiety.
  4. Friends who maintain their interest in me are hard to come by - but that's good, because it ensures only quality friends remain.
  5. Haven't settled on a career yet. I need to, and I don't want to be lost when I am older.
  6. Seeing the rays of sun shine throughout the clouds.
  7. I would rate it a 8/10. Has major issues, but has always served me and others well.
  8. Imagine if weather was more random. One day you have winter, the other day you have summer. Hah.
  9. Quality over Quantity is the motto I follow with friends. Learned the hard way.
  10. One of the things about birthdays is that it loses it's joy - and becomes a mark of how things pass so easily.
  11. It's time to crush the things that have been plaguing me. No more.
  12. Not at all. It is what it is. I need no support.
  13. Mostly just to see what happens next. Too much is happening to not be alive for. Imagine being dead. How boring.
  14. Successful. The last denizens of the old are mostly eradicated. Ushering in a new age.
  15. The vast majority of people do not understand the meaning of freedom. Most people look to saviors or authority figures to offload their personal responsibility.
  16. @Blitz Boom "For all of your creations and displays of power I don't see a great and powerful stallion. I see a 6 year old colt who has too much toys to play with. I see a spoiled, pathetic and insolent little brat. How sad it is, to have nobody else to play with you. A sad, pathetic foal you are. When I am done with the likes of you, you will be begging and pleading to bow down to ME!" Spectra growled, her unhinged personality showing itself through there. It was interesting how it was happening with the both of them. For all of Spectra's grandiose gestures, she may in truth be describing herself without knowing it. Neither Veil, nor Operata would likely find it within themselves to do much about what she had spoken of due to the affairs the two of them were faced with. Looking to Operata and Veil after they both had performed their actions, she was thankful that Veil proved quite useful to them. Her horn started to glow a brilliant shade of green - for she was about to use a magic spell she hadn't used before. Her ice magic was what she was most proficient in and she preferred to use it, for it came a lot easier considering her nature. If this had been in a frozen wasteland, she would have clearly had the upper hand. She would step back a bit of ways, her horn glowing like a small sun. There was the sound of a loud crack in the air, almost like a thunderclap. While Operata wouldn't know this, she was specifically draining from certain ponies - this also included his wife who was trapped within the orb. With a vindictive grin, she would perform the spell, knowing that for this one, his wife's magic would be completely bled dry. Normally she didn't do this, but she had such a vast array of ponies in her possession she could throw some salt into the wounds without him knowing it. Of course there were other ponies she would use for this spell, which may explain why her magic had this strange quality to it. After the loud crack was heard, her horn glowed brighter and a single ball of energy would shoot out towards the creature that they were faced with. As it did so, it split apart into 4 different balls which came at it in various angles. They began to spin around like a gyroscope, a weird electrical hum would be heard as they glowed brighter and brighter - moving faster and faster as they did so. Soon enough, there was a sudden force that'd rip throughout the room they were in, the air that made up the room would suddenly lurch forth into the spinning balls that surrounded the creature. If the creature wasn't able to attack them further, what would happen next - would be the air that rushed into the spinning gyroscope of lights, would suddenly implode in upon it with another loud crack sound, even louder than the first - with the intention being to destroy the creature with the force of the imploding air itself. If that part failed, then perhaps the bright lights would prove worthy of doing damage. The air that imploded upon the creature, would rush back out, they'd feel the changes in pressure and such before it'd 'snap' back to normal.
  17. What are the librarian ranks? I haven't seen those around.
  18. @Illiad Easle @Blitz Boom @Kujamih At first, Spiral had assumed that the Jester was a nefarious creature - the likes of discord, with the intent on locking them within the halls of this place for some silly test for their entertainment. She fully expected having to fight their way out, or even taking more drastic measures to defeat the one who had done this to them. Although with this, she wasn't the one who would perform violent acts first. There was likely a few moments where she did so but would soon realize this situation isn't what she thought it was. Once she went through the mental trials, she would proceed to ask various questions and find herself satisfied with the answers she recieved. She'd break off a piece of the thestralium from the place with the intentions of assassinating Apollo, although she also asked for advice as to how to convince the others to get along with her. She wanted to advert a situation in which Apollo would turn into a Martyr, she truly wanted to end the division on the conflict and remind everyone the desolation that war brings. After the interaction was over, she would leave, and wish the best of luck to the Kitsune. Spiral understood this and followed Ficus's directions to where the Empress resided. She'd proceed over the various bodies as she mentally prepared for the challenge that was about to come. With the others, she would plan to be the one to go towards the locked door. She was annoyed by Light's various antics on the way here, but did not wish for any harm to come to light. For that reason, she knew that Light was a powerful asset, so he would make a great distraction. While Spiral tried to hide it from the others, she knew that she was horrified deep down by what had transpired here. She didn't want to end up like the others here and knew that the Empress had to be held accountable for these actions. In her mind, the destruction of the Empress's power was also what she wanted here - not only the freeing of Nexus. Looking to the corpse that seemed to be looking right at them, she knew that was the Empress. "Talk during battle is a sign of weakness. Spare me your insolence and get on with dying." Spiral said defiantly as she made a break for the doorway. This would allow the others to choose who would stay behind, as she certainly wasn't going to be doing that. It wasn't in her nature to. Perhaps it was in someone else's. She knew they had a job to do and she was going to be the one who would do her best to see it through.
  19. @Illiad Easle Questions Spiral would have asked the Kitsune: - Where does the Kitsune come from? - Who was the Kitsune before the events transpired? - Why did Empress Arcana do what she did, was it for personal power? - What advice would the Kitsune give Spiral for achieving leadership over others and turning them away from the desolation of war? - Where do ponies themselves come from, were the created, or did they just evolve naturally? What does the Kitsune know about pony history? - Why was the Aether Project trapped here, was it done in an attempt to capture more souls for the Empress to take use of?
  20. Ah yes, rendering times. That's a wonderful thing.
