What do you hate about living in your town?
Props Valroa replied to Reecejackox's topic in General Discussion
It looks like a third world country in many places. It hardly ever takes care of it's streets, so there are tons of potholes. The people here often do drugs. Plus, it's the seat of the school district where I went to High School (the school staff and administration are corrupt), plus the people here are ignorant and stupid. -
IC: The Frozen North (1x1 with Blitz Boom)
Spectral Fade replied to Magloria 's topic in Advanced Roleplays
@Blitz Boom Spectra went silent and would follow him up the wall by floating over the barrier in a similar manner to his own. As she did so, his words went throughout her mind. All or nothing, she thought. Either she was going to accomplish her goals or die trying. No consequences in her mind. She had gone far too long to even think about such a thing. Failure for her meant a horrible death, so obviously she preferred total victory and would not settle for anything short of that. It was a relentless goal to reach - one that has such consumed almost all facets of her mind. It would be foolish to talk her out of it. Didn't stop some from trying. When they entered within the place she would overlook the remains of those who found an unfortunate end here. She scoffed somewhat at that. Looking to the tree that uprooted itself she would begin a magical charge. Her horn would light up a brilliant blue, with many ponies flowing through it. She forgot how many ponies she had captured within her orbs. Spectra lost count at a dozen. The years blurred together. All with that one and insatiable goal before her eyes. "When every tree in this world becomes a cinder tomorrow - it will be my paradise, so long as those of the future have the power to call their ashes their own!" she chanted as her horn strobed brilliant shades of blue. A large ice shard would fire forth from her horn and shoot right at the creature's maw. Right as it did so, it split exponentially until there were tiny barbs of ice crystals right into the creature's maw. She made a motion for Operata to begin an attack on the creature as well. -
As long as they don't cheat on me I don't really care. Would you date someone from another country?

@Illiad Easle Merlot agrees with Crank's assessment of the situation. "It would be more useful to discover what is powering the statue there. If it's that powerful to stop the project midair, then imagine what other uses such a thing could provide for us. We would be able to perform feats that we could not yet perform with the project." she said in agreement before marking down the frozen ship down below. "I see a ship down below there, frozen in the ice. There was clearly a shoreline here at some point. There is also a whole port here too." Merlot said in fascination. "This just goes to show you that all of this ice here is not natural. In the past it was temperate, this area seems to have frozen all at once. Likely because of Windigoes. This is no ice age or anything like that. I see bodies frozen in the ice. We should get a team out here to check this out." she spoke, and marked this site of greater importance on her notes. @Illiad Easle @Blitz Boom @Kujamih Spiral fell to the floor and appeared more than glad to be free from the Golem's grasp. The way the thing was powered was something to be studied. She would be sure to remember all of the details of what she can for when they inevitably return back to the project and inform the others about this. She'd allow the others to talk and appeared rather quiet for a while before she grinned wildly. "Thanks. I don't know where that thing could have taken me. There are probably others in here that have been taken. We should perhaps find them, this Golem is a fascinating thing really. If only we could replicate it's technology aboard the project." Spiral spoke and then looked to White Light. "I didn't think anything of the sort. Let's make a move on, we can't simply stand around here and talk. We have a job to do." she spoke, wanting to move onto their next objective and would proceed to do so if the others agreed.

IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus As Sombra's shadow form surged through the railyard he noted the various train cars and tracks assorted throughout the place. There were a few workers here and there doing their various jobs such as guarding the cargo or making sure other things were in place. He saw a few locomotives here sorting the various cars. It was possible the trains would be leaving in relative time, so he would like to board one of the freight cars with Una and Depart. He moved closer in, seeing that these trains were inbound to Chicoltgo. The name wasn't familar to him, so it must have been a place that was constructed within the past one thousand years in his absence. The rail yard was relatively small as this seemed to be a small town if anything. When Sombra went throughout the place he was thinking about Una. What use could she have for her? What did she have that he didn't know about? What is the possibility of her betraying him? All valid questions that he didn't have answers for. He wanted to find out but that would have to wait. The Alicorn Amulet was the most important object to locate as of yet. Anything else was for future plans. Such as raiding the dark magic books from Canterlot's library to increase his power, learning and finding new spells that he has not used before to utilize for military measures and the like. It had to start with him getting the Alicorn Amulet back. That is one of the reasons why he lost before. He left the Railyard, and proceeded into the town. There were some shops and buildings about the place. It wasn't too impressive but there were a few pine trees here and there, the town definitely having a unique style to it. In the distance he could see various homes going about the nearby horizon. Some were closer towards the Mountain range, with clear and obvious roads going up the Mountain. Perhaps for tourism. He would reform his body behind a building where nobody could see. The shadows around him shifted. His curved horn would shift to that of a normal stallion's horn, his green and purple magic flowing from his eyes vanished. So too did his cape, as well as his wings. Only thing that remained was his cutie mark. He was a tall, imposing stallion for sure - but for all intensive purposes he was normal. This of course was an illusion, of which only the most talented could see through. It would serve his purposes. He walked into town, and if he found any shops relating to magical items he would go there. If not, he'd ask about for something like that. Making references to the Alicorn Amulet, but not explicitly stating what it was in hopes they would tell him something about it. -
She was always one of my favorites. Maybe I gave wrong impressions. She is amazing. She is a happy and cute pony who looks amazing to look at. She is literal eye candy.

Are you excited for Make Your Mark?
Props Valroa replied to CastletonSnob's topic in My Little Pony: Make Your Mark
Only reason I am not up to date on it is since I am constantly busy. It is decent but sometimes hard to watch with its fast pace. It’s not bad. -

I loved the special. Initially I was skeptical, and while the visual style is a bit of a downgrade from the movie it is something I quickly got used to it. I was worried the writers would intend on pushing certain narratives in the special, but I didn't see any of that. First off, I love the songs, I love Posey Bloom and Queen Haven. Now the major thing that called out to me? I relate with Zipp a lot. She is so much like me I didn't even realize. I love all the G5 cast really, I couldn't help but feel that Pipp didn't have enough screentime but I liked her appearances. I was thinking that the mechanic to make ponies work together was a bit poor - but then I realized we don't know all the answers yet, I would like to know more about the crystals before coming to a conclusion to that. The main issue is the obvious visual downgrade. At times it feels like I was seeing something out of a low quality video game, at other times it was really good - the visual effects felt rather inconsistent but nothing that gets in the way of my enjoyment of the show. Posey's POV was completely understandable. When everyone has something and you don't, you can't help but feel jealous, can you? And the dragon was interesting too, I am really curious about the dragons and the other races. The alicorn at the end gives me the impression that she was the one who created the crystals. I look forward to seeing more of the special, I am fully onboard the G5 train now. Unique Opinion - Zipp should lead the G5 instead of Sunny. She notices things before others do, and wants to figure things out. A Pegasus becoming an alicorn is not something we have seen, and her being an alicorn like Sunny can be at times would make sense for her to succeed Queen Haven even more, wouldn't it? She's born a royal, it's only natural, unlike Twilight.

@Blitz Boom Magnolia listens and accepts Alluria's response. She didn't have much else to add, as she was getting pretty tired. The rack of emotional interactions and physical exertion of the day was getting to her, to say the least. The room's appearance was grand to her, there were many times where she would spend time in the woods. So any form of bed and a roof over her head would go without a complaint from her. "Thank you. I trust in your word. I hope by morning my friend will be in better shape, if not, that's okay. I'll give her the time she needs." she accepted her answer, and would say goodnight to them. Even if it wasn't night, it sure felt like it. Magnolia would walk into the room, and gently slip Zeehva under the covers with her and flick out the light. She'd tuck the covers over them and swiftly fall off to sleep, with not much else needed to do.

IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus He looked into her eyes for a moment as he weighed his options. "You will stay here. The town is not far from here. I can get there quickly. Nobody will find you here, these train cars are abandoned and have sat here for many years. Consider this your first gesture of trust. You are are more than welcome to go and leave, but I think we both know how that will end up." he spoke. It was an illusion of choice, really. He knew what would likely happen to her if she left on her own, and the thought of that would only reinforce her loyalty to him. With that said he'd walk away from her silently, letting her mull over her thoughts. With not even a glance to her, his body turned to shadow and vanished. Sombra, now in his shadow form slinked along the ground within the shadows of the trees, heading into the town. First he was going to get a look at the place first before revealing himself in some capacity.
