IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus Of course, Sombra was fully disguised as a regular dark gray stallion so even if they were overheard he wouldn't overtly be noticed by anyone out of the blue - at least, he would accept Una's responses and say that for any one individual to wield the Elements of Disharmony - would probably also have to be the one that created them in the first place. Although Sombra also stated he believed it to be possible that the Elements of Harmony and Disharmony have no known creator and were merely created by existence itself as a natural force of balance in the world - though he added that he had no proof to back up that suggestion. He would then look for books about the Elements of Harmony, and when he found them - he'd return and give them various books to dead on the Elements of Harmony. Though he didn't know exactly what to expect from the validity of the information that was contained within them. -
Happy birthday! I hope you are doing well.

Am thinking about work tomorrow.

Pinkie Pie, Starlight Glimmer, and Twilight are over-rated. Princess Twilight I don't have much fondness for.

IC: The Frozen North (1x1 with Blitz Boom)
Magloria replied to Magloria 's topic in Advanced Roleplays
@Blitz Boom Spectra would observe Gronth's reactions towards her armor with great interest. It was very interesting to see others fondle over her possessions - if only it is to exchange them for other possessions. Spectra didn't functionally need to have multiple sets of guard armor like that. She had enough stuff in her collection as it was - and so little purposes for it. The armor sets she had saved for herself? Those were in pristine condition, and right after this - she felt it fitting to infiltrate the guard themselves to learn about the inner workings of the guard. After returning to check on Veil, and hoping that she had something of great value to give her in turn. Looking to the welding mark that was spoken of, Spectra would observe closely and listen as Gronth tested the armor's validity. To his reactions, she would nod in an approving fashion. "It pleases me to see that you are able to verify the authenticity. Proves to me that you know exactly what you are doing." she spoke in a calm and approving manner as she'd see him examine the other various wears of armor. She'd step back slightly, allowing for him to take his time to examine the armor. She remained calm and composed throughout the whole ordeal - not revealing anything about her name or her nature. Spectra wasn't here to make friends, after all. The less said about herself, the better. Upon his final comments after he had taken the time to present further information upon reviewing them further she would nod in understanding. "I want something truly powerful and special. Something that very few have ever had in their possession. To give you an idea of the level that I am speaking of - I want something that is powerful enough for me to walk through the core of a burning star without a sweat across my brow. If this selection of armor is not enough to satisfy such an exchange, I have other things I could add to my part of the whole. But as for right now, I wish to know if you know of such a thing and if it exists, I would like to have it." she said in a respectful, yet understanding manner. "This armor that you see here I have collected over the years and polished to the utmost perfection I could. I am a collector of many many things, and my priorities have changed - so I am looking for something that I could use in extreme conditions that most ponies would consider to be absolutely impossible." she said with a matter of fact tone in her voice. "Of course, if you do not have such armor with you - you probably have something that is of paramount value. If not something that I can wear upon me - than I seek something that is powerful enough to use in direct combat against the most skilled of magical warriors. Deadly artifacts that have powerful offensive power." she spoke, and would step back, allowing Gronth to answer to her statements. Spectra was very curious about how Gronth may react to her statement. "I am very pleased of your assessments of what I have to offer you. It will get whoever buys them very far in whatever goals they wish to achieve with regards to infiltration. An amulet of power, of sorts, is also welcome. I come with great wealth, and great trade to offer Kludge Town. Whatever you have to offer me - I am listening." Spectra would say with a bow of her own. (At the base) Magloria would feel the waves of Veil's emotions approaching her. The fireball would hit Magloria - interestingly enough, Veil would observe the exact same reaction to spells cast on her as with Spectra. There would be a blue pulse shimmering throughout her whole body as the fireball had hit her. A new spell had just been downloaded into Magloria's mind. To Veil's statements, the mare would scoff at her word. Suddenly a blue portal would appear to Magloria's side, and she'd bring out a large dangerous looking Rapier and bring it to Veil's neck quickly. She didn't strike at Veil, though. It was an act of intimidation. Magloria were wanting to find out what had happened. Magloria's icy gaze would look into Veil's eyesockets directly. "This is really the best she has to offer? Guarding her collection? She's even more desperate than I thought." Magloria said with a sneer before her face grew even more cold. "Stand down, if you know what's good for you. Tell me the date - and tell me where she is." Magloria would say, assuming complete command over the situation. She was very direct and right to the point. Magloria had a lot she wanted to know - but the date was the most important thing. How long had she been frozen for? Veil could see the Crystal Armor adorning her elegant frame - she really did look the part of a crystal guard. A lot had been rolling through her mind in an instant, but she had to find her bearings. -
@Blitz Boom @Illiad Easle Spiral was silent on the talk about Chrysalis. She wasn't technically alive when all of that happened - nor did she experience modern day Equestria at all. From what she gathered of it, it seemed fairly utoptian and life was peaceful. In a way it was something to be envied - yet the laziness and complacency of the ponies showed that modern Equestria had lived in an erroneous false reality coloured by their easy life. Spiral didn't have much else to say, and simply nodded to Coxa and thanked her for her time. Upon hearing Aurum's word's, Spiral's ears would perk up despite it being a mental affect - "Coping mechanism, most likely. She is repeating what she said earlier...as if in a catatonic state. Like a turtle going back into it's shell." Spiral would say to Last, quietly.

IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus Sombra would ponder more about the Elements of Disharmony, eventually discarding the idea because Greed, Betrayal, Avarice, Deception, Despair, and Cruelty were the exact opposite of what he wanted. He wanted the populace to be loyal to him and him alone. He did not want a disunited populace who would hypothetically be aware of how he achieved power. He wanted to be seen as the liberator. The one who set them all free - perhaps he could use the Elements of Harmony themselves to achieve that? But, how would he take the reigns of the Elements of Harmony and use it against those who oppose him? He didn't understand that part of it at all, but at the very least the idea of the Elements of Disharmony was discarded. He would discuss this with Una. If Una told him about the idea of the Elements of Disharmony being wielded by one single individual he would find himself curious about that. If such a thing existed, he would obviously want to see it for himself and see if there was a way to take advantage of it - however, he told her that being that one individual would directly go against his goals of being seen as the "liberator" of the ponies from the two sister's rule. While Sombra was a very dark and easily enraged soul - he wanted to be seen in a positive light so that his power may rule for all of them. Using overt oppression and force constantly just goes against that, and undermines the very foundations of what he wanted to achieve. Sombra wasn't a directly morally good sort - but he wasn't someone who just destroys and conquers for no reason. -

IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus Sombra head read up on "The Pillars". They were something that was from before his time, though he did not know much about them. All he knew was mere legend, and it seemed that they had uncovered a lot more about them recently. He saw that Starswirl was the leader, which was to be expected. Though this didn't answer his question as to how the Elements themselves were created - the whole location of the tree itself was something that as also unknown. Perhaps he could find a way to harness it's power for himself - but he absolutely needed to get the elements out of the picture if he was to rule Equestria. He couldn't have those around standing in his way. As he read, he would read up more onto what the elements of harmony exactly embodied. It seemed like some over-glorified comic book thing to him, but it was real. He wondered if there was a thing called the elements of Disharmony - and if it was possible to use them against the Elements of Harmony? He would read more. -
@Rikifive I am somewhat new to this browser so I don't know how to disable extensions. Ticking the plugin off makes it slightly better though, from what I've noticed.

What do you think about Donald Trump?
Props Valroa replied to Feather Data's topic in General Discussion
His charisma, energy, and passion is second to none. Could he be better? Of course. I don't agree with him on everything, but against all the rest this country has to offer - there is zero hesitation in me to say that I would proudly vote for him again. I would say that he is the best president this country has ever had. -
@Rikifive @Jeric Disabling the plugin seems to improve the problem a lot. Seeing as it's not seen in anyone else - it's most likely my browser. I use Vivaldi.

@Rikifive Seems to always happen - but as I start pages it works fine for 1-2 clicks then it stops?

@Splashee Even when turning it off, it still doesn't work for me. I was able to align this post in the center, but not able to align it back.

For some reason the alignment of text is glitchy. I can't move it back to left align, and clicking to center align doesn't work most of the time. It is almost unusuable. I hope someone can look into this.

IC: The Frozen North (1x1 with Blitz Boom)
Spectral Fade replied to Magloria 's topic in Advanced Roleplays
@Blitz Boom Spectra would observe the Griffon as he flew off. Her eyes lazily gazing away from that scene. What a pitiful accident - Griffons had no real interest to her, though she's never had the chance to capture one of them. Perhaps that might change. It may be possible to drag an individual or two away from here in the middle of the night. Though, that wasn't very high on her list. Also not high on the list was the focus she had in Operata. It was interesting to see her act somewhat loose and almost forgetful of Operata's presence. That is how comfortable she truly was because he very well knew her hold over him. A hold that was his Wife's very life. Operata wouldn't realistically be able to find the lair, and then free his beloved wife from her anyway. Her bases were very well hidden and he had only gotten a very small Glimpse of the exterior surroundings. In a mountain range, with so many mountains surrounded by forest. Only thing he knew was that it was the Green Mountains. If his ties with her should ever break - he could very well spend years searching for his wife. She knew her place of power over him and exercised it with such thoughtlessness. From the subtle interactions Operata had with the two others, she could tell he had a history here. The large stallion chopping away at the meat was definitely one of them. If she had anything to go off of - it was an adversarial relationship. The one mare who waved her hoof back to him was a positive relationship. Something Spectra didn't press - she was here for a reason, not to entertain Operata's past life. Though, she wouldn't lie - she were curious. Maybe sometime later. Spectra just gave either of them a casual glance, not indicating interest or much thought as they proceeded their way through the town. Her eyes were looking around, though not keeping glued to any one particular area. She wasn't here to cause problems anyway. In, and out. That was her goal. If anything here garnered herself a positive name - that was but an added bonus. As they pressed further into the town, Spectra glanced at the various guards casually. Various types of all species who were clearly good at their trade. Not the type that ponies would want to mess with. In her mind, even the mere sight of those guards would make the average pony cower in fear at. Yet she was completely unphased by it. With all the power and influence she had here, she wondered if it was possible to buy out a private army here and infiltrate the Equestrian higher ranks for herself. Something she were clearly aiming to do at some point. Malevolence and all that will come as it comes - and she was not pleased by the possibility of him arriving again in this place to once again mess with her. Far too soon for that to happen. The jewelry stores were interesting. Those were a good way to cash in some of her valuables. Her precious jewels stolen directly from the vault of the Two Sisters. That was many centuries ago, which only added to their value. The Two Sisters had likely given up on their pursuit of those gems - it had been so long anyway. All of the scenery here made Spectra think to herself that she had forgotten how truly extensive some of her journeys had truly been. These days however? The vault was too well guarded for even her to access without her being uncovered one way or the other. Not worth the effort, unless she had such a way to distract the guards...but that's for another time. So much to think about! Upon walking up to the large tent with many official articles on display, Spectra knew she was in the right place. She had a lot of articles that would go well in this collection - and soon enough, they would. The questionable bat pony only served to drive home that she would be directly aiding in whatever plots these others had. Which was good for her. She didn't care how cruel or how immoral their buyers may end up being, so long as it weakened the crown that she hated so so much. Quickly looking away, her gaze would fall upon the one in charge of the sale. The one who was in charge was a very strange diamond dog - with a very strange amulet. Looking at it closely, she had no doubt in what little heart she had that he had been possessed by it. At the very least, he was heavily influenced by it's effects. Was difficult to tell what kind of magic it was. The many eyes on his face was definitely a tell tale sign - something that she found herself allured by. Though looking like...that was a downside to any attempts at infiltration which she aimed to do at some point. The venomous look to his inner teeth only served to drive that point home. Spectra would give a bow in turn when the Vendor bowed before her like that. She didn't judge him - she merely observed him. "Well - I have been collecting a few things over the years I think that would go well with your collection here. Give me a moment." she spoke as she stepped back a bit, her horn pulsing blue. Next to her, various armor stands appeared. There were 5 Crystal Empire armor sets - each of various rank, and clearly of different time frame, though the last two were purely modern. Good for infiltration. There were 6 pairs of Celestial Guard Armor, one of them looked to be very old - but kept in mint condition. Celestial guard armor didn't change too much over the years - so that was the best for modern uses here. There then were 4 pairs of Night Guard armor which was more rare for her to have, but there it was. Of course, she kept more of these to herself. She wasn't going to just part ways with all of them. "I no longer have use for them. They are yours. Keep the armor stands as well. The newer ones have the name tags of their...previous owners inside of them. Good for whatever purposes anyone around here has, you know?" she smirked casually and would allow this Diamond dog to make the appraisal of them before she would even mention anything she had an inclination on wanting in turn. Some kind of powerful-power armor was on the forefront of her mind but she was careful not to move too fast here. (At the base) Magloria would stop for a bit to quietly observe the construct. What a strange creature, really. Was this something that ponies used these days? Some new technology that had been invented since the last time she was free in her own body - or did it serve a more dire sinister purpose? Something her captor had invented to keep ponies from escaping? Whatever it was, she ran out of the room quickly and quietly. Magloria was eager to find herself to freedom. As she ran quietly, she ran close to the walls. Her ears listening. Magloria soon stumbled upon Veil - another strange creature in her eyes, one she'd leave alone. Magloria would quickly head to the other rooms Veil had not been near. Crates upon crates. So much material. Thankfully these rooms had doors to them, and she snuck into one of them quickly. Magloria began to look through the crates, finding a suit of Crystal Guard armor. She put it on quickly, and armed herself with the spear the armor itself had came with. The armor she knew was Crystal Empire in design, but was fairly modern. Going through the crates more, she'd locate various empty saddlebags and would equip them, putting military rations inside of one. For the rest, she began to look for any various valuables she could find - in order to bribe others in the future. Not much was left in this base, as Spectra had taken most of it. Quickly, she would stuff them into one saddlebag. Then she'd equip various knives, and a spare camping tent. It was quite the amount of gear, but she proceeded to explore the place quickly - staying away from Veil. She wanted to get a good memory of the place, so that eventually - she can expose it all in great detail to the highest authority and gain their loyalty. Spectra's wrongdoings were in the hooves of Magloria - to undo. One day. Magloria saw all the other ponies. She wanted to free them, but doing so would attract more attention than she wanted. Not yet...one day...one day... -

IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra replied to King Sombra 's topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus Sombra noticed the 1000 years was a common timeframe to mention. It is interesting that Nightmare Moon happened shortly after Sombra and his Kingdom were banished away. He wondered what sort of connections the events had - if any. He would also show Una what the historians wrote about him. Obviously, it was all just claiming he was a brutal tyrant - without any sort of explanation as to how exactly he rose to power or what he did before the war. There were little mentions of Changelings at this time in history, it seems the bulk of interaction with them was in recent years. It is interesting how the books they read paint the two Sisters in a consistently positive light.
