My buddy who I used to shoot a comedic series with no longer wants to be a part of that series. He is the main focus of it. He says it’s because nobody watches.
I thought we were shooting because it was fun to do, not to please our legions of 2 viewers. Disappointing.
That sucks. If it's fun to do, then I think it is always worth doing. I've worked my head off to create things that maybe one or two people have seen. I don't care though. I do it because I enjoy it.
As soon as you start doing things to please other people alone, you're not even acting authentically anymore. If your hearts not in it, it's for the best to stop, I think.
