    I just had someone bring a check with no date on it. So I wrote the date on a piece of paper so he could fill it in on the check: 2/24/20.

     

    He writes 20/20/24 instead.

      The Day/Month/Year convention makes logical sense. I don't know the exact reasons for Month/Day/Year, other than it's easier to say, 'April 5th, 2020' than 'The 5th of April, 2020'.

      It SHOULD be from either less to greatest time periods, or vice versa, right? Why would you put the day in the center, how does that help anything in the least, right?
