  1. Here comes today’s question:

If you were gellin’ by the Strait of Magellan, what might you be yellin’?

    A. “Check out these AUSTRALIAN beach drinks I’m sellin’!”

    B. “I could use some help with these AFRICAN cocoa trees I’m fellin’!”

Which of the following characters improvised over 50% of his lines in the movie Full Metal Jacket?

    A. Joker

    B. Pvt. Pyle

    C. Animal Mother

    D. Gny. Sgt. Hartman

    This was...

    Spoiler

D! Hartman the drill sergeant was played by R. Lee Emery, and especially during the roasting scenes, his lines were mostly improvised. Emery had been a drill instructor in the past and channeled his old career into the role. Pvt. Pyle among other characters look very close to busting out laughing in several scenes where he's shouting insults at them, and it's said that Kubrick was stifling his laughter behind the cameras as well.

    This week's winner is...

Originally being designed as an expansion for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, this project was ultimately scrapped in favor of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask:

    A. Ura Zelda

    B. Zelda 64

    C. The Legend of Zelda III: The Triforce Saga

    D. Zelda Gaiden

    This was…

    Spoiler

A! Ura Zelda was the name given to an expansion for Ocarina of Time that was to be made for the Nintendo 64 disk drive. Because the N64DD was a commercial failure, and the team was not terribly happy with Ura Zelda, it was scrapped on the condition that a new Zelda game be made. Hence, Majora’s Mask.
