Stone Cold Steve Jobs

I didn’t hate it. I had a few teachers that hated me but I was all out of feck.

 I also met a friend there who I’ve been friends with ever since. Nearly 20 years now. I’m old.

Pretty poor. I used to be decently healthy.

I’m always hot save for when I am sick. I don’t know a lot of people who stay hot even standing in front of the air conditioning.

Carnies.

Circus folk. Nomads, you know? Smell like cabbage.

Small hands.

I would just do it. I hated school when I was younger. I was usually anxious or something about it, but I got through. 

Battle formations then vs. now are entirely different animals. A lot of people do think those formations are stupid by today's standpoint, and they would be. But I imagine if you suggested our current strategies and formations to them, they'd look at you the same way.

When told of the reasoning behind Daylight Savings Time, an old Indian responded, "Only the government would think you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it to the bottom, and have a longer blanket."

Ana nudges Gust. “What do you think is behind Door #1?”

Ana gives a smile In greeting to Princess Silky, and looks to Gust. “I think we should follow her. Are you ready?”

Ana would come running to the commotion. Her head darts around until she finds Gust. “What’s going on?”

Ana’s ears perk up at the voice and her eyes meet Gust’s. “Yeah, let’s head back. Lead on, sport.”  She brightens her lighting spell a bit more and approaches him.

Ana stops short of the shattered glass on the ground and smiles at Gust. “Good looking out.”

She squints her eyes to try and determine what else is before her in the darkness, but is unable to see. She frowns a bit, and shoots a lighting spell into the darkness ahead of them. “Gust? See anything up there?”

Ana, seeing the floral life in one of the paths, is instantly drawn towards it. She beckons Gust excitedly.

Ana frowns and steps before Gust. “You know me. It’s going to take more than a little changeling invasion to do me in.” She smiles reassuringly before giving him a hug.

”I’m just glad I found you. Let’s rendezvous with the others. Maybe they have some information.”

Ana cranes her neck and looks up before loosing another lighting spell into the sky. "I don't know if it's a retreat or if they're regrouping. Are you okay, Gust?"

Ana, seeing Gust @Totally Lyra running off after someone, listens intently and hears... herself? She leaps aside to avoid one Angry Changeling @Princess Silky and starts firing off frost spells. For each Changeling hit, more seem to take their place. She begins running to try and catch up with Gust. She grits her teeth as she hears someone doing a surprisingly good impression of her voice. "Oh, it is on."

"Aye aye," Ana says. She brightens her lighting spell a bit more, and takes a look around her. 

"Gust, be safe. If we play our cards right, we'll be out of here before you can say, 'What could possibly go wrong?'"

"I'm alright. Is anyone hurt?"

Ana gives her head a shake and casts a lighting spell. She looks around at the seemingly endless enclosure and frowns slightly. "Okay, this isn't ideal. How should we play it?"

Ana tilted her head slightly while examining the lantern. “Huh.” She glanced at her cutie mark.

”I’m not entirely sure. Maybe it’s related to the forest in some way. Maybe it’s got something to do with the plants we may find? What do you think?”

Ana wanders over to a table for something to drink while she waits for Gust. She pours a cup for him as well before returning to her spot.
