After seeing that my so far successful DeviantART group promoting the ponies with belly buttons fandom trend, sparked EQD's owner to post about them in a site post, it's been pointed out to me that belly buttons are in fact canon :3 3:09-3:10, Suited for Success, just as Dash crashes through the window and lands. Cast it off as a throw in glitch or forgetfullness to remove something from an initial sketch if you will, but ponies are mammals, they have belly buttons, and the show showed it at least once And on best fucking pony, no less.

VA's get older, and on top of that, there's the possibility that the show could be aiming to ease into more mature voices as well. Characters' voices should be expected to change just like us :3 Doesn't decrease the characters' value or change who they are and why you like them.

More tolerant people who watch the show and not get nitpicky, whiny or bitchy about the smallest little things :3

A lot of you guys come in here and use this thread as your opportunity to denounce absolute hate towards a cartoon character (which I find amusing in general, by that's a different subject), seeming to continually ignore or find reasons to denounce or make null Dash's serious character development xP Even given the fact that she can seem more irriating in some episodes than others, I would think she's improved enough since season 1 where people could stop saying 'I hate her, she's a fucking bitch', and start saying 'I never did like her character, I still don't'. Ah well. Guess people just like to be dramatic and flame-bait Dash fans D: You truly are. I once made a topic about it :3

Oh, I completely agree with that I just won't and never will stand them in general, and this is the most we've seen Bitchara in an episode since the journal reporting one, so...xD

On the subject of topic closure, as long as the topic remains respectful, on topic and not spammish, the staff will almost always seek to quell the individual members causing whatever drama or problems that have arisen in that given thread, instead of nuking the thread as a whole with a lock. Past clop discussion topics have been locked entirely because people began getting too on the border of sexually explicit in their conversations, as well as generally using the thread to more or less post image gifs, as to spam things up. If you guys, as a whole, use the thread for meaningful discussion and keep it to its' purpose, it's smooth sailing for the SS MLPF. Meghan said near the end of the break before S4 that the team was taking a lot of liberties, this season. That's alluded to a lot of things. We've seen more hidden adult jokes, we've seen a lot more action, even slightly darker themes, as well as easter eggs everywhere :3

Diamond Tiara is always the problem, man.

Wow, opened right up addressing Sweetie's magic, yet another long-term discussed fandom topic. Despite not having Best Pony as the focus as Flight to the Finish did, I actually enjoyed this episode as a CMC episode more than Flight to the Finish. Has nothing to do with how the lack of Dash/Scoots bonding in FthF, despite the numerous opportunities they had to have it, brought its' impact down for me. This felt more like a genuinely interesting CMC episode with more new content and scenarios than Flight to the Finish. To be honest, the Equestria Games thing tends to make episodes duller and more predictable, due to the ongoing storyline continuity, so I've found its' episodes to not have as many opportunities to do new and creative things with storylines. We got to see old characters again, new concepts for the CMC, new interactions with Twilight that we've only ever really seen when she went Psycho on them back in season 2, Diamond Tiara being a FUCKING BITCH ARGGHHH GO AWAY AND STOP ABUSING YOUR BUTLER in new ways than before, which for me is good because she gets so tediously obnoxious beyond just her attitude when she never does anything on screen other than the same CMC targeting. To that end, yes please, Sweetie, master levitation so you can teach Bitchara some manners. I also like this episode because fast food is now canon and it's glorious you get to see a non-sister of one of the CMC interacting a lot with not just the CMC, but some of the other younger ponies as well. Naturally it was nice to FINALLY see Tiara put in this kind of scenario as well, where she's seduced into the fangirl mode over the CMC. Eh, that's about it for now. Not finished the episode, but I wanted to post this now.

Lauren's stated several times that Celestia and Luna are not goddesses or deities or anything of that nature, by extension showing that alicorns in general aren't either. Pinkie's character at basis is random incarnate. As such, each and every writer is all but incapable of making her personality flow seamlessly. As a result, I continue to see topics like this one where Pinkie's personality is judged by episode to episode basis. In reality, trying to pin down a specific personality trend to Pinkie's personality is borderline selective memory.

Nightmare Moon is a manifestation of vengeance, hate and jealousy, which was born from Luna's emotions of that nature towards Celestia back in the ancient day, amplified ten fold. Nightmare Moon, as just Nightmare Moon, is certainly worthy of being called 'evil'. She has no moral bounds against killing/destroying those she doesn't like, as she tried to obliterate Celestia, her desire was to coat the nation in forever night based purely on that jealousy, and has no care about how the plant life and animal life of the nation would be put into jeopardy due to that, etc.

The movie was also a promotional thing for the EQGirls toy-line, remember. While wings can be created on a doll in a way that isn't potentially dangerously pointy for younger kids, a horn is a lot tougher to do that. They probably left them out entirely as to not have to deal with them.
