I mean, I get email notifications when someone mentions me, sooo... :T

Lies, we share a special connection. :proud: A telepathic link for whenever I mention your name with an @ sign in front of it.

That's because there's dozens of hard-working staff members I've met on sites through the years but only one guy obsessed with belly buttons, hence why it stands out.

I'm still trying to find the hard drive with the pics from that group chat saved on it. No luck so far.

Yup, I get that comment a lot, in and out of person. :mustache: The Navel Avatar/Signature Revolution topics are still around, which means all the created avatars and signatures I made for people still should be, too.

You may have forgotten me, but I could never forget you. The belly button Skype group is forever ingrained into my nightmares and sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat.

I can tell from the stay I've had so far that the forums' current focus seems to be on quality over quantity of content which is something I greatly appreciate. Back in the day things felt really impersonal due to the fact hundreds of members came and went all the time.

When you're remembered not for your hard admin work going on three years, your wit, your sass, your creative writing or even your basic bitch graphic design skills, but that extravagant belly button trend you did that one or three times.

  3. One does not simply walk away from entities of þðñ¥ and never return. We've all come back at some point or another, be it to occasionally pop in or a single catch-up. I managed to briefly summon @Zoop last year just by challenging his love for Fluttershy. :Daydreaming:

I remember little asides your Trixie avatars, so I guess that's good news for both of us! :mlp_smug: Nevertheless glad to see other Elder Gods still exist from the days of early Feldian creation. MLPF has become far more focused on community-driven interaction since our initial leaves in 14' and 15', and I think it's been for the better. @Jericand his staff have done well with revitalizing what this site was originally intended for and capitalizing on it. Should you decide to stick around at all, I'm sure you'll see for yourself.

  4. Fuck me if I have time or energy to make a big response before work this morning but great to hear from you again! All three of my Bcon attendences will stick with me for all the cool people I've met. 😌

We got a new big boi, Alatreon in MH:W. If you ever find time with all your schooling and find interest in the game again, I'm always around.

  5. The worst written scene in all of FIM is Vice Principal Luna interrogating Twilight in her office.

Sorry, but EQG is not FIM, it's EQG. :P They are not canonically linked at all, it's been stated.

Also, no. Sunset's reformation had pacing and realism across three movies, Starlight's had a thrown-together backstory with about as much rushing and lack of believe-ability as Discord's initial reformation. Starlight would have been a more interesting character had she remained a villain; continuing to act as an anti-thesis rival for Twilight Sparkle in terms of magic, since Twilight has never actually had one before (no Trixie does not count, she has no natural talent).

But now she's reformed, so now we have Twilight Sparkle 2.0.

I knew this day was coming, obviously, but it still evokes some feels.

CD, you and I have been riding the chaos train together ever since you came aboard the staff with your Discord avatars and endless stream of navel ponies. We stuck together through thick and thin, and I can say without a shadow of doubt that you are one of the most dedicated staff members I've had the privilege of serving with. Yes, we all feel just a bid inadequate to see you at the top of logged moderator actions. :P

But seriously, it's hard to match your run on the staff; furthermore, though, you have been and continue to be a great member and person. Getting to meet you and your awesome Discord-esque facial hair at BronyCon was a real treat. I do hope we get a chance some day to hang out in person without being tethered to some staff project. I'm sure we would have a load of fun, as we did at the BronyCon staff dinner last year.

So, if I discover you have left MLP Forums for some other pony hussy, rest assured you will not escape unscathed. We're brothers bonded by the blood of chaos -- or something like that. I'm sure it reads dramatically at first glance, and that's all I can really hope for.

Seriously, thanks for everything -- including the bag of rotten eggs you left on my desk. I'll keep them as a memento of our time cruising the mean streets together, hunting down ne'er-do-wells and locking topics like a couple of badasses.

Are you going to BCon this year too? Or not? We should hang out lots, because I won't be doing any staff things, and since DashForever can no longer make it, that just leaves Arty :3

Also, I ended up culling you from my Skype list a week ago when I had a breakdown and blew up half of it in frustration of having so many contacts I don't ever talk to, but if you ever feel like using Skype more often, I'll re-add you in a heartbeat :3 The chaos does not stop here~

    b. How Rainbow Dash knew Scootaloo was in danger. Sure, the animation hints this, and you can suggest this as a possibility, but it's way too subtle. In a way, it behaves like a deus ex machina. If the relationship here was given more clarity, then it'd be more believable.

In a fan fic of mine, I expained that Luna knew Scootaloo was in danger, having just been in her dream minutes before, and thus was still looking after her, as we saw was apparent when she was right there to tell Scootaloo to face her true fears when she was with Dash. Luna went into Dash's dreams and somehow warned her Scootaloo was in trouble. That's the best explanation that I came up with, of which most people were fine with accepting.

Still waiting for their relationship continuation, DHX.

  8. Thank you for explaining it much better than I. I'm really tired, and I don't English very well when I'm drowsy :v

I wholeheartedly agree. Some people just can't be happy with what they have. They're always wanting more. It's like that song from The Little Mermaid. You have a bunch of cool things that any fish would kill for. Stop being a spoiled brat!!

    Ummm....

Yup :) The over-analyzing and stuff should ideally be something one does down the line, after they sit down, and enjoy new episodes. Something you do to kill time between episodes, and while you're off-season. It's not something you should be doing as you're watching an episode. You're not really being a fan, you're then just being a critic. It's not your job to pick something you're supposed to be enjoying, apart, so why do it? It's not about being 'right', it's about having fun.

IMO, if you cannot sit down and just enjoy something you're supposedly a 'fan' of without picking it apart and all that, you've already failed xP

  9. Sort of. I enjoy analyzing and deeply discussing the show like many people, but the problem you're getting at is still perfectly visible to me, as well.

I feel that way too many people can't sit down for new episodes and just let themselves enjoy it. They instead need to look for plot inconsistencies and analyze and look for things that could have been done better or that are or aren't this, that or the other thing, right off the bat, and don't even allow themselves to enjoy the simple fact that time, effort, emotion and dedication was put into this animated thing that we as fans are honored to be able to enjoy.

In short, they can't enjoy things purely from face value. Analyzing and getting into detail and things is fantastic, but way too many people can't turn that off, ever. I feel like its' those people who are more libel to be ones who become pessimistic about episodes in general, too. When you don't let yourself just enjoy something from a kids perspective, from a pure fans perspective, you're just going to build up equal or more negative things from episodes than positives.

  10. The individual who received moderation needs to be the one to dispute it. Publicly posting what's more or less a moderation dispute isn't going to solve anything. Regardless if a user is under a suspension or not, they can always send tickets through the following email. I encourage Kyson to do so, if he has points to bring up to the situation that may not have been taken into account.

If Kyson's already created a dispute, that's where it needs to stay.
