  1. Ex-Catholic, so an agnostic atheist. Gotta keep this fact a secret from my religious parents till' I can support myself on my own. I've heard the horror stories of those who reveal their non-beliefs to their religions parents/guardians.
  2. When someone walks into your room to do whatever, then leave without closing the door. No matter how many times you tell them to close the door, they never learn.
  3. Truth Be Told Anyone remember the original design of the Mane 6? Like how Pinkie Pie was originally gonna be a white Pegasus, or how Fluttershy was supposed to be an earth pony? This fic takes those designs and makes a dark turn with them, by introducing some kind of malevolent virus/goo that silently infects Ponyvile. I don't want to spoil too much, but I will say that the process of Pinkie's transformation is definitely the most disturbing part of the story. It's absolutely a good read, if you're not offended by gore and dismemberment, of course.
  4. While I'm not too keen on how Hasbro limits their shows via episode length, I will say the show certainly went up in quality when Lauren Faust left at the end of season 1 (however she did play a role in scripts and story concepts during season 2); season 3 was when she truly left the show. Although something good to note is that the first Bronycon was in the summer of 2012, before season 3 ever aired, which was in November of 2012. I'm going to bet here that the unbelievable amount of popularity that blew up surrounding MLP, which created such a wide phenomenon over a show about cartoon ponies, and that it was something that nobody could see coming, caught the eye of Hasbro. So I think it's safe to assume that the mass explosion in popularity helped curate MLP to an elevated status above other typical shows that broadcast from Hasbro. Good timing on the fandom's part to really show to Hasbro that they had something more than just a cartoon on their hands.
  5. I'm talkin' soundtracks from games that aren't from giants of the video game industry, but rather people of small teams. Post your favorite indie game soundtracks, preferably via YouTube, but text is fine too. I have many favorites, but here are three of them from three different games just to keep the post from going too long. Transistor - The Spine Rimworld - Waiting For The Sun Bastion - Mother, I'm Here
  6. Several days ago I just bought an indie game called "Children of a Dead Earth". It's supposed to be a simulation of what combat in space would realistically look like.
  7. I can relate to this as I used play Lol for 3 to 4 years before deciding to quit around when Kindred was released. I think I've spent more than 250$ on that game; but the biggest reason why I quit was because the game would just create so much stress for me, worrying whether if my team was going to be half-competent or brain dead. That's how I see it, just one big dice roll whether you get good teammates or not; your skills and champion only put a dent in that factor, not counting if you get matched up with a counter to your champion. And yes, almost 40% of the games I get, I had some toxic whiner telling people to report someone just because they're not up to their desired skill level. Ever since I quit, I tend to stay away from games with communities known for being toxic and too team dependent (although TF2 is a slight exception).
  8. While I have enjoyed Overwatch for the first 50 hours, I will agree that the game has gotten stale and predictable, Push payload, capture point, hold point, and that's about it as far as objectives go. The Skill ceiling just isn't high enough for me to do crazy things like you can in TF2, such as rocket/sticky jumping.
  9. Between "Sim City Creator" for Wii and "Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon", it has to be "Path of the Furon" mostly due to the fact that it effectively killed off the Destroy All Humans franchise entirely. It was originally going to release in winter of 2007, but got delayed to December of 2008. When I finally got my 12 year old hands on a copy, placed it into the Xbox 360 (PlayStation 3 version got delayed due to "development issues") and started playing for a bit, a dark, sinking feeling began to grow inside of me, as I slowly begin to realize why the game was delayed for so long. The game itself is without a doubt the most bug riddled, unpolished game that I have ever played up to this day. Characters gliding across the floor, dialogue getting cut mid speech, to numerous crashes, I've never felt so betrayed before at that time. It's probably the first game I've ever been hyped about, only for it to be a complete letdown; 50$ down the gutter. Rip Destroy All Humans, and rip THQ.
  10. I left the Pokemon fandom right around when I entered this fandom. Not that I let MLP overshadow Pokemon, but the fact that 70% of the new episodes that were coming out were complete and utter filler. Sorry, but watching 22 minutes of Ash trying to teach a wild Cottonee to use a single move in order to get with a mate, only for a generic team rocket theme to occur with a predictable ending, isn't very entertaining; it just feels like a waste of time. Those writer must not care about their show anymore.
  11. Orlando, Florida; Where winter only lasts for two weeks, and you can go to the beach in December.
  12. Jailed for staging a potential coup against Celestia and Luna.
  13. Hello, I usually do not partake in online forums, but this site, I can make an exception. I've been into this fandom for more than 6 years now, and I'll never let go of it! I really want to 'git gud' at art so that I may post quality art to sites like Derpibooru and DevientArt. I friggin' love the Changelings as a species, so if any of you Changeling lovers out there, we'll be good friends. I come from Orlando, Florida, where I will be attending college very soon. I love to play the Piano, draw, collect Pony merch (mostly shirts and posters), and PC gaming (Steam ID in profile). I hope for the rest of my time on this site to be filled with fun and insightful discussions!...or whatever you people partake in forums. Oh, and as a bonus, here's how my art is going so far.
