  1. "I'm pretty sure we were required to demonstrate our powers. Didn't work on you so I used him. Besides in real combat, there are no rules." Lenaria managed to stand and went to retrieve her sword. "That's one nasty kick." She said clutching her chest as she put away her blade with her other hand. "Now wh-- Stop!" Lenaria quickly ordered while extending her hand and making a stopping gesture. Zac froze in place. He was holding Lenaria's rifle and was aiming it at Charles. He looked confused and disoriented.
  2. Lenaria deftly avoided Charles' attack to the face, but she ended up taking the heel to her chest. She fell backwards winded and stunned; her sword sliding away from her hand, Lenaria quickly looked around for some way to regain her momentum. Out of the corner of her eye she saw someone enter the room. 'Seems that fighting fair isn't working.' She turned to Zac. "You! Attack him. Now!" She commanded in an intensely strong hypnotic tone while pointing towards Charles.
  3. Lenaria quickly adjusted to parry the strike, however Charles' fake caught her a bit off-guard. Charles' foot made contact with her front leg causing her to stumble forward. Lenaria used this moment to quickly do a jab with her blade followed with a kick aimed at Charles' hand in an attempt to disarm him.
  4. Lenaria stepped back and inspected her head with her free hand. There seemed to be no damage, probably just a bruise later. She kept her sword raised and waited for Charles to once again make his move. Lenaria knew she had to come up with something, but she had prepared to fight a werewolf, not an experienced hunter who was immune to her voice.
  5. Lenaria attempted to move to her right side but Charles' headbutt connected to her left temple. She stumbled to the side in a daze. Charles' grip on her arm prevented her from falling completely. Lenaria quickly recovered and jabbed her sword forward, threatening to stab Charles' side. They were now parallel to the edge of the ring. "Come on Charles. Cut me some slack, please?" Lenaria attempted another of her hypnotic speeches.
  6. The moment Charles got within striking range of her sword (which is longer than the knife) she stepped back, causing the butterflyknife to miss its target. She counterattacked with a jab towards Charles' head but at the last possible second she would pull to the side and aim to strike at his extended left arm (The one with the butterfly knife). Lenaria readied to sidestep or roll to avoid Charles' counter attack if needed.
  7. Lenaria stood her ground. Her hypnotic attempts seemed to have no effect so far. 'Is he deaf or something? Not even the slightest change in body language or position. Interesting.' She kept her sword raised as she thought of a new strategy. 'Now maybe there could be another angle I can use and exploit here.' Still maintaining her distance, Lenaria assumed Charles would eventually attack her. "Come on Charles; can't you hear me? Ignoring someone is awfully rude...." She said trying to probe Charles for more information.
  8. Lenaria stood her ground and waited for Charles to make his move. He may be correct about her preferred fighting style but that did not mean she couldn't hold her own in a fight like this. "Poor me, no where to hide, but let's see how this turns out. I wouldn't be much of a field agent if I couldn't handle a head on fight." Lenaria replied keeping her sword drawn and ready. "Now how about instead of fighting we put down our weapons and settle this in a more civilized way?" Lenaria had added a bit more power to her persuasion. She knew this probably wouldn't work but it was worth the attempt and it would supply her info on just how resistant Charles was to her charm. From her experience only a few people could resist her fully powered mesmer. 'I wonder if Charles is one of these few exceptional individuals. Now it is best I keep my distance while attempting this, my sword has the range advantage over his dagger.'
  9. Got a friend who is new at LoL and I offered to duo with her to get her through her provisionals. The bronze V adventures continue.
  10. Lenaria nodded at the change of plans and stepped into the arena. She knew that the bullets she had taken from the armory shouldn't be used against Charles so she kept her handgun holstered. "Good luck, Charles! Go easy on me okay?" She said with a slight smile before drawing her sword from the black scabbard slung around her back, her request was layered with her entrancing hypnotic tone. 'Hopefully this will end in my favor.'
  11. Recently acquired an account that was Bronze V last season from a friend. Now I want to see how high I can get the rank by playing solo queue and prove that ELO hell doesn't exist. (On the first and second game my launcher crashed so I was not able to screen cap results screen.) All 3 of the games contained multiple toxic people. Everyone was mad at each other and at least 2 afks on my team total. I have gotten 6 Quadrakills and 2 Pentakills. (The Yi game had both Pentas lol) The enemies also had several toxic players and one of the games 1 guy afked. 3rd game had the Yasuo and Fiora argue who got top lane and they didn't have a jungler. I can't wait to see what rank this will be after those 10 games.
  12. Not as hard compared to other items like PD. The reason Kalista can get away with it is because she stacks in theory an infinite amount of damage, compared to Varus' cap at 3. On Varus it is far more efficient to go with PD over Runaan's. (Shiv is meh since you already have wave clear.) Stacking Kalista's E on multiple targets allows you to get multiple easy resets and damage everyone in a team fight. In lane you can E multiple times by getting reset off minions you kill.
  13. Apparently Runaan's rush into BT is turning into a thing on . Need to experiment to see how effective it is. We might finally have a use for Runaan's on an ADC. EDIT: Tested it, it worked amazingly well holy shit. Had 2 people fighting over mid and feeding. Had a top get ganked all game and he fed. Support was meh. No jungler. Was able carry easily.
  14. Lenaria watched both fights unfold. It would seem all of her allies were quite skilled, now she knew it would soon be time for her to face the Sofia, the werewolf. Lenaria quickly made herself scarce and went to get the armory to requisition a few items. The personnel at the armory were very compliant to her 'requests' and she quickly made her way back with a few extra items and 1 extra magazine for her handgun. Lenaria saw Auria next to the table where she was a few minutes before. "That was quite a fight you two had. Really intense. I do hope I can reach the standard you set." She told Aura as she sat on the table next to her rifle. "Looks like I'm up against Sofia. I do hope she can control her werewolf form. From what I know they tend to be quite feral." Lenaria remarked about her opponent; though Sofia had the physical strength and agility advantage, Lenaria had a few tricks up her sleeve. 'Never fight a fair fight.'
  15. Lenaria remained quiet as the scene unfolded. She took a mental note that Director Davis definitely knows and possibly mastered hand-to-hand combat. At the same time she took her time to look between the remaining three members. A mage, a trained hunter and a werewolf. She did not enjoy the thought of dueling with any of these people but practice is practice. 'Best way to improve I guess. I'll let them decide who fights who.' Lenaria set her rifle down on its bipod one of the tables by the wall. She knew better than to even attempt to use a rifle like that in a CQC environment. She stayed next to the wall and observed the fight between Masun and Auria.
  16. Heads up, that ever since Lifesteal quints got nerfed and the Doran's blade change; most people go either flat AD or AS quints. Also get 1 flat crit chance mark if you feel like it. 1% Crit has gotten my so many kills and won me so many lanes.
  17. Best of luck. Maybe we would be able to duo one time. Still have to do the placements for my NA account though.
  18. The placement matches are still affected by your MMR that was slightly adjusted from last season. Don't worry. Placements are hell for everyone. One of my friends is in gold 2 after going 6-4 from plat 1 last season. You can make it to silver!
  19. ((OOC: Sorry for the late post, been busy this week. Starting from here.)) Lenaria nodded in acknowledgement towards Charles' complement before going back to her scope calibrations. After a few more minutes she had just about finished calibrating the rifle scope. Lenaria smiled slightly just as the intercom blared with an announcement. 'Sparring area meeting could only mean one thing.' She thought as she packed up her rifle. She folded the bipod and slung it around her shoulder and made her way to the nearby sparring area. After arriving she nodded in greeting towards Masun and the group. They had begun to discuss the idea of shifting everyone's sleeping schedules to accommodate for the nocturnal members. After Charles' joke about his breakfast, Lenaria decided to cast her vote. "A nocturnal sleeping schedule is manageable for me. I have no complaints. However I'm afraid Charles' bacon and eggs will have a hard time adjusting." She said to the group. "Now, why meet at the sparring area for a discussion about sleep?" She added; addressing Masun in attempt to get an idea of what he had planned.
  20. Lenaria listened in on the conversation between Masun and Sofia. After Masun had dismissed the once large group, but now consisting of just herself; she headed back towards her quarters. Upon arrival she went towards her desk where she left her disassembled rifle. She spent the next few minutes assembling her PSG-1. After a few minutes, Lenaria had expertly put together her rifle. She attached the sling to the rifle and set it on the table. 'Now to change into clothes more suitable for training.' Lenaria took some clothes she had placed on her bed earlier. She changed into blue jeans and a simple white t-shirt. Lenaria then placed her old clothes on a separate part of the bed. Lenaria emptied one of the magazines of her rifle and placed the 10 bullets neatly on the table. She did the same with the 8 bullets of her handgun. Lenaria then holstered her pistol; took her short sword's scabbard and slung around her back and tightened the sling to ensure it doesn't fall, and finally slung her rifle by her shoulder. Lenaria headed towards the training wing's firing range, she passed by the armory and quickly 'convinced' the personnel stationed there to provide her several magazines worth of ammo for both her rifle and pistol. Took a spot next to Charles at the firing range and set up her rifle's bipod. "Nice rifle, Charles." She remarked as she focused on calibrating her scope.
  21. After playing almost exclusively ADC for the past 4 years I believe that the support has every right to take the kill. Don't complain about KS as long as the enemy is dead it is a good thing. All what matters is that YOUR team gets ahead while THEIR team falls behind. That will always happen no matter who gets the killing blow.
  22. Lenaria noticed a small conflict in the making between Sam and Sofia. "Sam, please stop questioning Sofia's line of work. I am sure there are perfectly good explanations for the said phenomena. Sofia, please be a bit more patient. I know it is insulting when what you do is questioned and accused of falsehood, but we ARE all friends here." Lenaria addressed both Sam and Sofia, taking the time to look at both of them. She encountered mages before and their various kinds of magical barriers did prove to be a hindrance to her abilities, but she knew with enough control she can place a suggestion undetected by the magic. When Lenaria addressed Sam, she controlled her mesmer enough just to get past the barrier. Her mesmer towards Sofia was also controlled, just enough to sooth the tension or anger she felt. "Please, don't make it worse Charles." She said after Charles' little attempt at a joke. Lenaria listened to what Otonashi had to say and made no comment. 'The japanese must really dislike America.' She thought.
  23. Lenaria took note of how once again Auria dodged the question regarding her abilities. 'She'll have to reveal them eventually.' Lenaria consoled herself with the thought. She remained quiet for now and waited to see if anyone else would say anything. 'All that is left is for that kitsune to reveal his identity and our little group should know each other for the most part.'
  24. Lenaria turned to the new arrival. 'Oh, someone was a bit late.' She thought breifly before talking. "Hello, Sofia. We were just introducing ourselves, why don't you join us? I'm Lenaria Sarris; ex-special operations and infiltration unit from Area 27, which is in Greece." Lenaria said to the newcomer, her tone carrying its usual mildly mesmerizing allure.
  25. Lenaria was startled at Sam's sudden protective shield followed by a bolt of magic, but she did not show any visible signs of it. 'So, she is a mage and she can resist my abilities. I wonder to what extent.' Lenaria thought to herself as Sam apologized. 'Now, let us see what our other acquaintances can do. Specifically the one that avoids talking.' Lenaria turned to Auria. "What can you do? You did not make any mention of it in your introduction." She asked Auria in a friendly tone.
