  5. Sunset shimmer hasn't interacted with the group nearly enough, and Starlight... I guess she's doing her own thing? It looks a lot less like ponies will be joining the mane 6 and more like they'll be forming their own group. Trixie, Starlight, Sunset. Maud, maybe? These ponies all clearly have a lot of growing to do. This is probably beyond the scope of the show, but it seems like a group of ponies like these would make a good heir to the elements of harmony.
  6. How long has it been since someone's checked the number of posts? 416251
  7. This was posted on Saturday but I'm gonna reply anyway. If you feel this way, you are probably better at (and more inclined to) solve your friends' problems because the answers come easier to you, but your personal problems will always be difficult, otherwise they wouldn't be problems. Finding and following through with solutions to your problems will always come easier to other people who have different skills, which I suppose is the benefit of friends. Having someone who is good at the things you can't do, as support when you're lost. Definitely over analyzed that meme, but that was my idea. As for my own answer, I enjoy work. More specifically, I enjoy getting things done. Accomplishing small goals. But I don't usually have the drive to get certain important things done. Some work seems pointless, and I think that's the kind that's hardest to do.
  8. Honestly, if it was gonna end, it would've ended by now. But hey, maybe someone will write an episode where Spike has to accept that it won't happen, and learns how to move on. Equally likely, some writer will make Sparity almost become a reality for one episode, and then everything will go forward as if it never happened. We've sure seen both of those before.
  9. Mrs. Cake's full name is Cup Cake, Chiffon Swirl was her birth given name. MLP canonized legal name changes, which explains a lot of Equestria's weirdest names. But on to the episode, it was personally my favorite in the entire series. So little margin for error, and they nailed it perfectly. Basically confirming their deaths without treading into risky territory at all. Loads of questions answered, beautiful music as always, a great ending. The episode managed to create such an amazing feeling of connection to the characters. They pulled the whole show closer together. The writing isn't better than most mlp episodes, it's better than most episodes of all my favorite shows. The name-changing was a nice development I think. DJ-Pon3's name makes more sense now. More importantly, I think this episode has shown more of a commitment to consistent and quality backstory. Hopefully they keep this trend of consistency going, it'll definitely do wonders for the fan-fiction and headcanons which are such a huge part of the fandom.
  10. Well it seems like one of the main themes of the show has become unrealized potential. It's all been about ponies who had amazing potential but didn't wield it properly. Because they didn't know how, or didn't want to, etc. So I feel like redemptions are a natural consequence of this ideal. It's the philosophy of the show, Fighting gets us nowhere, but if we choose to work together, we'll both be more powerful than ever before. That kind of reasoning.
  11. Them being at the movies isn't the reason for my, or any sensible person's problem. It's unruly children who are annoying. Discipline of a disobedient kid is a given part of good parenting and it doesn't matter whether they're at a movie theater or not. Both positive and negative reinforcement are required. So yes, if your kid spends two hours screaming at a movie screen, then they ought to be punished (Though, you definitely shouldn't hit them...) On a similar note, I personally understood when I made this post that it could be very selfish of me if I went to far to try and solve the problem. It is perfectly fine, however, to do what I want as long as I don't hinder anyone else's experience, and that is exactly what I planned to do.
  12. I've always kinda wished there was some kind of Zapp Apple food that Hasbro sold, would probably make a killing.
