    - Twilight realizing she had to prioritize herself on the blimp trip and not worry about pleasing a bunch of fan ponies or even her family. - Fluttershy drawing the line between agressive and assertive without hurting anyone. - AppleJack understanding that controlling her family members doesn't help them in the least. They need the chance to learn from their own mistakes. - Rainbow Dash coping with having to let go of Tank for a few months. - Rarity realizing that her sister is older and doesn't enjoy the toddler things she once did. - Pinkie coming to terms with introverts (Cranky Doodle in this case) and accepting that needing space isn't the same as not wanting friends.

    Twilight: Amethyst Star Pinkie Pie: Minty (the G3 reboot, not the bubblegum mare) AppleJack: Nurse Redheart Fluttershy: Junebug Rarity: Sunshine Smiles Rainbow Dash: White Lightning As a bonus, here's my explanations: - Amethyst is very organized and smart like Twilight. In fact, she was the organization icon in Ponyville until Twilight took over that role. - Both Minty and Pinkie are silly, love sweets, and always want to make ponies happy (assuming that Minty acts the same as she did in G3). - Both Nurse Redheart and AppleJack are caring and practical in their professions and place a high value on the livihood of others. - There isn't much known about Junebug but she seems very sweet and shy. - Sunshine Smiles appears to be very enthusiastic about fashion and creativity just like Rarity. - White Lightning most likely works in a weather job and she seems pretty agile like Rainbow if you spot her flying around in the background.

    Makes sense for Sweetie Belle though since she was growing up. As for AJ, I'm not sure what prompted the voice shift. Maybe Hasbro found the deeper voices to be more appealing or perhaps it was easier on the VAs.

    Considering that a good amount of people didn't like the movie style as much as the show style, it wouldn't make much sense to completely implement it into the show.

    All I really noticed is how the voice pitches and animation style changed over time. The voices got deeper and the animation became more expressive (sometimes too expressive).

    I like the personality headcanons you made but I like the current colors better (well, Hitch does look pretty cool as a blue pony). Mainly I just like that Zipp and Pipp look so different cause I'm so tired of "the twins have to look/act the same" trope. It's really nice to see twins act like different people because they are different people. As for the battles and other things you headcanoned, I'd be quite surprised if G5 got into something like that but it was possible in G4 so it's definitely possible here. I also love the idea of @HereComesTom's headcanon. That would've been great if the first three alicorns actually contributed to the G5 plot that much. It also makes sense that they would disband harmony if they found it to be ineffective.

    I used to watch it on YouTube or Dailymotion but now I primarily watch it on Netflix or DVD.

    It would've been nice if she had regular eyelashes underneath rather than no eyelashes at all. Perhaps she was just born without them though, just like Lil' Cheese was born with them despite being a colt.

    It's probably a lot easier to animate since the animators wouldn't have to keep putting the streaks a layer behind the horn.
