I'm not sure what was wrong with the old format for this place, but the new one... Just why?

There are still fifteen minutes to go until the start of 2021 but just in case the forum goes down before then, I just want to say thank you for sticking together and being such amazing friends throughout the year!  If we keep looking ahead and think of the positives, then we can enter the New Year with style!

Since the forums will be down for upgrades I want to wish everyone a safe and happy new year!

I didn't know I would find myself here again yet for another year, but here I am.

Some of you are already on the other side, some of you are still waiting like me, but my words are the same for y'all.

I look at what this year has been, at everything that has happened, and I can't help but find it beautiful, with all its ups and downs, with all its disasters, I see a dance taking steps everywhere, I see a river leading deep into the green and healthy forest of the unknown.  

You are all a part of me, I may never be the same joyful child I was when I got in, but you will always be the amazing people who have helped me grow.

Have a wonderful new year guys, I love you all. I'll see y'all again on the other side.

For New Year's, who wouldn't love a good last laugh in 2020? :-)

There’s a little something I would like to say. I don’t think I express enough just how much I love and appreciate each and every one of you.  I always knew that ponies brought people together but what I never could’ve known about was just how amazing the people actually are!  You’re all so amazing, so genuine and so good to each other!  I also really hope that I’ve been able to cheer somepony up the same way you always do.  I’m a person who’s constantly putting himself down but the confidence boost comes when I see all of you saying something nice to me or even simply stopping to say hello.  That’s always such a comfort.
Especially because the last year has been so hard mentally like I’m sure it has been for everypony.  But what I’ve tried my best to hide from everypony is the fact that for a few months, I’d had some very dark thoughts going on in my mind. Not to mention, the negativity about the whole you-know-what thing had a massive knock-on effect. I’ve had to even drop my last year of school because of how low I was feeling. Hopefully, that’s passed because I talked to some very good people who helped me through it and you all did too. I really hope that in the new year, the world we love can gradually come back.  How long would we have to keep walking on eggshells with our heads down to avoid this mess? 

I need to say one more time that I really care so much about all of you. You’re all stronger than you know. I really hope that I’m a good enough friend too and that I can help you all feel better whenever you’re down. I really love you guys so much and I couldn’t ask for anything more!
