  1. Happy birthday! Hope you have a lovely time :)

  2. But isn't online streaming downloading in a way? I mean -- you can't be watching the stream without the video buffering, and that's downloading. But I digress. I feel like it's complicated. I don't live in the States, so that immediately makes it a lot harder to acquire the newest pony episodes legally. I do watch it via these kind of sites, but if Hasbro puts the seasons on Blu-Ray, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I think DVD doesn't cut it these days.
  3. I am actually one of the few who owns a Windows phone (Lumia 950). But since this is Android vs. iOS, I'd go with Android. I own an Android tablet, and I am someone who likes tinkering with devices. I know Apple is very strict in that regard, so that's a no-go for me. You also get to have much more diversity in terms of hardware, and I like choice. Their user interface are kind of on par IMO. Apple does have really solid devices with great battery life, though. Someone got the first gen iPad from a good friend for free and he asked me to set it up and everything. The software experience wasn't very good at all, but the battery life was still great for a device that old. Mind you, this was two months ago and the thing was at least 5 years old at that point! It really amazed me, since most batteries would be dead at that point.
  4. Even worse: In that case I have heard that they would be required to do this upon finding out about such a project, as they can lose rights if they don't do so! I wouldn't want to work my flank off just to figure this out later, and so shouldn't you, Kuablaikan ! I am not really sure how picky Hasbro is, but they seem to be pretty okay with fan projects (as long as they don't include the Mane 6 and other characters from the show etc.). It should be fine if it doesn't include these things, but they still are in their rights to shut your project down if they feel the itch to do so. To my knowledge, there has been one time where Hasbro requested a fan game to be taken down (because it included the Mane 6), and that was with the Fighting is Magic game. But fortunately, they could continue the game, just with different characters. Here's some reading for ya: link
  5. I have Asperger's syndrome too, and I can relate to what you said. Being socially awkward, I sometimes just don't know what to say to people and when I force myself to do so, I kind of make myself look silly. For some reason, when I'm with my friends, I do not experience this. I still don't feel like wanting to date either, even at my 20th. I also have some problems with my motoric skills sometimes. But please don't think too bad about yourself, as people with autism usually have very unique skills and interests. We do experience life in a different way, so please make it yours and don't mind your social skills too much. I have learned from my mistakes, and so I am sure you can do that too This is very much true to me, as I easily get hooked by everything anime and cartoons. I typically relate more to other creatures than human beings for some reason too, and as such, this makes shows like MLP stand out to me. I can't say this is true for every member, as autism is a very 'broad' word.
  6. In 2012, a friend recommended the show to me. I am really open minded to these things, so I told him "Okay I'll do it". However, until very recently, I never dared to watch it. Because I had the same question in my mind as you do now (somewhat): What would other people think of bronies? What if I actually begin to like it? Turned out that I was not as open minded when I was faced with that situation, which in turn lead me to conclude that these people indeed were very strange. But I just thought 'whatever' and went on with my life. At a certain point in time, I found all of these awesome fan videos and art on YouTube and DeviantArt. I finally built the courage to watch the show. I became hooked pretty quickly, and for some weeks I kept wondering about all these questions. Eventually, I stopped caring and even set my favorite wallpaper on the laptop I bring to college. Most people, when they see it, mostly just laugh about it.
  7. *laughing at you while cuddling my plushies* But now I'm kinda laughing at myself too... And I'm totally fine with that
  8. Thanks! Welcome to you too, friend Thank you! Princess Celestia will sure need me when she decides to take a day off... Controlling the sun is not an easy task, you know
  9. Thank you, I really appreciate it ! I hope you (and everypony else) have a great new year!
  10. Top 3 Favorite Mane 6 Ponies Rainbow Dash Applejack Twilight Sparkle ( Ugh, that was kinda hard... Maybe I like them all equally as much ) Top 3 Favorite Non-Mane 6 Ponies Princess Luna Scootaloo Vinyl Scratch How I Found this Website A few weeks ago, I found this site while searching for tips on how to draw ponies. And here I am How I Became Fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Well, keep on reading and you'll find out ^.^ ! (Could've used the standard layout, but this is more informative, haha!) This is going to be a pretty long read, so please get your favorite drink or beverage ready ! I am AmaterasuPony and I am 20 years old. My pony adventure began pretty recently, although a friend of mine recommended MLP back in 2012. I never even dared to watch it, though -- what if I am actually going to... like it !? What will other people think of me when they get to know? 8 months ago, I became curious and watched the first episode of the first season. I wasn't convinced entirely, but still watched some other episodes. And it has been the best thing I ever decided to do ! I was raised by my parents with different norms and values regarding acceptance of different (particular) cultures and races. These values are embedded in their minds like a stubborn stallion refusing to get rid of his rusty old horseshoe. Before entering this fandom, I used to be have somewhat of a similar mindset. In hindsight, I am certainly not proud of this. But I feel like I am making progress in becoming a better person. (Other than that, I can assure you they are great in most other aspects!) When I saw the Making Christmas Merrier page, I was faced with a dilemma, which was formed by the aforementioned norms and values I was raised with. Eventually (and thankfully), I donated $15 to Charity:Water. This might not be that much as I am a student, but I really hope it still helps the less fortunate with getting clean water. It might seem like a small change to others, but this is quite a big change to me. All thanks to this great show and the community. If there is one fandom that actually does something for others, it's this one! So, other than that, I really like playing Osu and games where I can unleash my creativity. Things like Gmod, The Sims and Simcity. In real life, I would call myself a bit shy and I am definitely one of the quieter types you might meet. I like drawing and I have just started following tutorials, but I could use some practice (the cutie mark was too hard to get right ) : Oh yeah... And I also happen to like writing... About that, are you still with me ? PS. English is not my native language, so I am really sorry for any mistakes you might encounter...
